Understanding the dynamics and establishing analysis patterns of these processes is crucial for proposing more equitable and sustainable growth guidelines in cities. In Goiânia, it is observed that urban sprawl has led to the occupation of peripheral areas with distinct characteristics in each part of the municipality. Thus, this study proposes an examination of the growth of the city of Goiânia by analyzing the expansion along the BR-153 and GO-020 highways in the Eastern Region, characterized by the massive presence of higher social classes through the construction of gated horizontal condominiums. The objective is to identify urban phenomena and their actors in the spatial production of this region, spatially characterized by conurbation and marginal occupation of highways, extending the dominance of gated communities beyond the municipal limits of Goiânia, reaching Senador Canedo. To achieve this purpose, the study employs documentary analysis, literature review, spatial analysis, statistical data analysis, and field research to identify the expansion pattern and the agents responsible for this production. Thus, it is observed that the metropolization consolidating in this region results from processes such as sprawled and segregated expansion, reinforced by the strong presence of gated communities for middle and high-income residents. This brings about tangible changes in the metropolis' landscape, imprinting distinctive characteristics on the socio-spatial dynamics in this region. Consequently, disparate spaces are produced in the surroundings, leading to the strengthening of conurbation, one of the first expressions of metropolization, which ultimately generates various urban problems.Item Agricultura urbana e sustentabilidade ambiental das cidades(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-05-31) Azerêdo, David Alves Finotti Camardelli de; Hora, Karla Emmanuela Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6451685640638572; Kallas, Luana Miranda Esper; Silva, Caio Frederico e; Lima, Fabíolla Xavier Rocha FerreiraThe study of urban agriculture has occupied research agendas in recent times. It is justified both by food production and occupation generation, and by aiming at the elaboration of diversified models of urban intervention for the formation of resilient cities in a context of climate change. To reflect on this theme, we start with the following questions: How can urban agriculture contribute to the development of resilient cities? What can the AUP experience in 11 cities tell us about the context of urban planning? In terms of the environment, does urban agriculture contribute to reducing carbon emissions? Therefore, the general objective of this dissertation aimed to understand urban and peri-urban agriculture (UPA) as an environmental resilience strategy in the context of urban planning. The analysis considered UPA practices in eleven cities on different continents, with details for the municipality of Goiânia, state of Goiás. Goiânia has been slowly outlining actions to implement the UPA based on popular and institutionalized practices. Aspects were considered in the analysis, such as: land use, socioenvironmental viability and public policy institutionalization strategies. In terms of the environment, the research explored methodologies for evaluating the reduction of carbon emissions that could be applied to the UPA. The methodology was based on a bibliographic review, documentary research and an exploratory study on the reduction of carbon emissions for the reality of Goiânia. Environmental sustainability was understood as the support capacity, resilience and resistance of ecosystems. The results indicate that, among the 11 cases studied, the multifunctional role of the AUP and its environmental role in cities stand out. Regarding the contribution of urban agriculture in building urban resilience, its partial contribution is verified as a potential action in reducing CO2 emissions due to the shortening of distances during the transport of these foodstuffs. But this measure depends on government regulations and incentives to occur.Item Análise do desempenho termoenergético de escolas públicas segundo aplicação do RTQ-C para a envoltória(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-03-31) Paulse, Pablo de Caldas; Rosa, Érico Naves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8563679469245743; Rosa, Érico Naves; Hora, Karla Emmanuela Ribeiro; Brandstetter, Maria Carolina Gomes de OliveiraThe search for buildings with better energy performance has been the subject of several studies, due to the energy crisis that Brazil and the world are facing and the need for a more sustainable solution for buildings. In this context, this thesis presented the analysis of the envelope (vertical walls and roof) of a school building whose purpose is to optimize its thermoenergetic performance and the achievement of higher levels of indoor thermal comfort for its users. The object of study was a standard building for classrooms of public schools in the city of Goiania–GO, whose dimensions and spatial characteristics have not been changed significantly; the analysis focusing only the building components that characterize its envelope. The thermoenergetic assessment of the proposed building was based on the Quality of Technical Regulation Methodology for Energy Efficiency of Commercial Buildings, Services and Public - RTQ-C of the Brazilian Labeling Program in Buildings (PBE Edifica), which establishes parameters for the classification of energy performance through the National Energy Conservation Label (ENCE). For this purpose, analysis were carried out of the building envelope according to the prescriptive method, based on calculations and parameters pre-set by the Regulation, and on computer simulations carried out by creating scenarios using materials and solutions recommended by the Regulation and performance of technical standards buildings (NBR 15575: 2013) and thermal performance in buildings (NBR 15220: 2005), both referenced by RTQ-C. For the simulations was used the DesignBuilder software. Simulated models were evaluated according to two criteria: the indoor air temperature and the thermal comfort of users defined by the PMV index. The results were applied to the RTQ-C methodology and demonstrate that the changes in the type of masonry and in the roof of the original model, added to the incorporation of shading elements in the openings, can provide a change in the ENCE final classification, which moves up from a medium ranking (level C) to that of maximum performance (level A), with considerable implications for the internal temperature and the percentage of hours in comfort of users, without the need for use of mechanized and high energy consuming air conditioning systems. These results provide subsidies for the development of more energy efficient public buildings, through the employment of construction systems appropriate to the site and enabling the reduction of costs associated with the maintenance of adequate thermal comfort of its users.Item Análise sistêmica de impactos de anéis viários na mobilidade e na estrutura espacial urbana: um estudo de caso na região metropolitana de Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-02-18) Souza, Suelen Cristina dos Santos de; Kneib, Érika Cristine; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2807145158226533; Kneib, Érika Cristine; Kallas, Luana Miranda Esper; Portugal, Licínio da SilvaTo respond a specific need of the transportation system, the ring roads are intended to improve intra-urban traffic, diverting the flow of people and loads. However, like highways, they act in the spatial structuring of territories, providing accessibility, integrating or segregating them. Without multidisciplinary planning, they may provide a temporary improvement in the flow of motorized traffic, but later tend to spatially transform the territory, causing disperse occupation. When this happens, the highway may be absorbed by the local traffic and become an intra-urban flow street, contrary to its implementation objectives. This causes the need to build new concentric outermost ring roads, in a cycle of road multiplication. This practice has its essence in the analytical/specialist approach, which understands planning in a fragmented way when it operates transportation planning separate from territorial planning and implements highways in isolation from other management departments. The research aims, therefore, to identify and analyze in a systemic approach the existing relations between ring roads, mobility and urban spatial structure, creating a methodological procedure for the construction of this subsystem. It is understood that the elements and relations therein reflect its potential impact trends. It is justified by the need for a change in the planning approach, more systemic and articulated among road rings, mobility and urban spatial structure. General Systems Theory is used as a fundamental tool in the methodology approach, that has an exploratory nature and uses systematic and bibliographic review and cartographic analysis. To apply the method, the Metropolitan Region of Goiânia was chosen, in which a section of the proposed ring road was analyzed. As results, a subsystem was identified whose elements and interactions reflect the impacts sought, diagrammed in a network. Although exemplary, the sample identified reveals crucial points of the planning that must receive attention to fulfill the intended purpose, considering the territorial, environmental, political-social and transportation impacts.Item Análise sistêmica do modo ativo: a busca pela priorização da acessibilidade ativa nas centralidades urbanas(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-12-15) Lopes, Flávia Cirqueira Rodrigues; Kneib, Érika Cristine; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2807145158226533; Kneib, Érika Cristine; Ribeiro, Rômulo José da Costa; Almeida, Cristiano FariasThe urbanization process in Brazil focused on individual motorized transport, strengthening the urban sprawl, the dispersed and disconnected spatial structure. This situation disfavors the mode of active displacements, walking and cycling. Recently, the scope of scientific research on sustainable mobility has been strengthened in academia and public policy. That said, this work deals with the new scientific paradigm, based on the General Systems Theory, which makes it possible to analyze mobility as a system, evidencing the integrality of the phenomenon from the interactions between its subsystems and elements of composition. Therefore, the active mode is characterized as a subsystem, with specific elements and interactions, which are related to the whole of urban mobility. From the National Urban Mobility Policy, which establishes the prioritization of the active mode, the construction of this system becomes relevant, since it makes it possible to understand the mutual interactions of the elements and with the external environment, so that public policies are more assertive in the prioritize active accessibility. As a methodology, a bibliographic review, a systematic review were used and, from the systemic analysis, the active mode system was built and its structures identified. As the main result, it was found that the prioritization of active accessibility is conditioned to the integration of the active mode system, that is, the elements of transport, land use and management. Moreover, it turned out that there are structures in the system that can be triggered by public policy stimuli.Item A antiga linha férrea de Goiânia. It used to be the modernization symbol of Goiás State and of the city construction, it was built in the 1950’s, from the extension of a railroad branch originated in the trunk line Araguari – Anápolis. The railway used to cross the whole state, to the north of the country, with the goal to reach the new capital of sertão, Brazil’s very deep country side, departing from Leopoldo de Bulhões and getting into the city perimeter up to Campinas, the oldest district in Goiânia. However, the golden years of the railway were too short, the late arrival of the trails coincided with the highways’ fast progress in the country, while the railways suffered many reflexes from the lack of investments and serious financial problems, besides the undercarriage’s obsolescence. Thus, a dream coming true became a nightmare, resulting on the partial deactivation process of the rail branch. This had boosted the increase of irregular neighboring areas occupations, the abandonment of spaces and the immediate removal of some trails. However, remains of a railway area were left, such as the stations, few residences and trails which unveil a past. This past is present like a ghost, who still walks by the city almost unseen by great majority of the population. Having this in mind, the aim of this study is to elaborate a story in order to understand and analyze the landscape that has been transformed along the years with the insertion of this modernity instrument in the urban tissue of Goiânia. The methodological procedures were based on bibliographic researches, documents analysis, on printed and electronic material from private and public institutions, on field and mapping services. This work helped us to understand how the railway has interfered in the formation and transformation of the space along the years until today, unveiling four distinct axes: the superposition axe, a path where nowadays one can find the Leste-Oeste Avenue, which has replaced the trails; the destruction axe, which comprises the Trabalhador Square, where one can find the Railway Station that suffers constant reuse try-outs, but nowadays is abandoned; the crossties’ cemetery, a path full of railway remains; and, finally, the resistance axe, the only path where the train still operates. In this way, this study tries to fulfil a gap in Goiás Railway’s history that has not been registered yet. Seeking the answer to this questioning, the work is found for some discoveries by the materiality of the original product. By analyzing the advertising material and the production of the apartment presented, it can be used in the sales strategy, if you find points that confirm the duality: it is a danger that brings cultural characteristics, at the same time that it is a consumer product capable of moving the real estate and interior architecture market. During approximate four years (1969-1973), the quartet has developed projects and constructions in Goiânia, with the foundation of Arquitetos Associados S/C office. Later, starting from 1974, only two of them - Eduardo Simoes Barbosa and Carlos Fernando Rabelo - continued with the associated activity creating a new office called Espaço - Planning Team, Architecture and Consulting Ltda. The object of study is the production ensemble of these offices in the context of Goiânia, city created and consolidated in the light of modern ideals. The dissertation arouses a systematic reflection on the work of these architects, place it in the local and regional modern architecture scene and, when rescue her from the anonymity, establishes confrontations with important works of brazilian architecture. The investigation on them projective processes has as reference some based sampling of their basilar projects. The research was subsidized by consultation in primary sources of the office acquis, by the visits to the constructions and interviews with architects, clients and employees. These procedures help to understand in what ways the quartet contributed to the formation and consolidation of a local architectural culture, in the tenue and inaccurate transition between the modern and the postmodern. Thus, this dissertation inaugurate the fill of an important gap in the history of Goianiense architectural production, at the same time that launches a necessary database for future researchs about these architects works. The purpose of the research, in the field of Theory and History of Architecture, is to observe how the transformations in the selected school buildings took place, in both scenarios, based on analytical categories and architectural and urbanistic attributes. Initially, it is necessary to recover the historical context and the approach of the theoretical paradigms of Education to understand the pedagogical assumptions and programmatic needs - and of Architecture - as a translation of the educational needs -, referring to the time frame. Thus, the two architectural ensembles will be confronted as to the characteristics - typological, compositional, plastic-formal, functional, constructive and tectonic - and urban - implementation, relationship in the urban landscape and in the history of the city. The contribution to the historiography of Goiânia applied to Education, in addition to the documentation itself, can stimulate reflections about Architecture, Education and the city.Item De arraial a patrimônio mundial: a redescoberta da Cidade de Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-06-27) Drogomirecki, Stephanie Botovchenco Rivera; Mello, Marcia Metran de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4684676783995945; Mello, Marcia Metran de; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Souza, Rildo Bento deSeeking to implement the powers to them entrusted by the Portuguese crown, and to organize the occupation in the Brazilians countryside, bandeirantes such as Bartolomeu Bueno da Silva and miners, like Manoel Rodrigues Tomar, founded in the captaincy of Goiás some “arraiais”, a kind of settlement without legal or administrative autonomy, which answered to their local villages (in this case, São Paulo). In this captaincy, one “arraial” stood out, both economically and politically: the Arraial de Sant'Ana, which became later known as Vila Boa. For centuries, this urban nucleus was essential to the state of Goiás economy and history. When the captaincy of Goiás started to feel the great impact of the region ́s gold shortage, many towns and cities were abandoned by the miners and eventually disappeared. However, Vila Boa (now known as Goiás) had survived this shortage, despite it also suffering a political impact in the early twentieth century when the capital was transferred to the modern city of Goiânia. After the loss of the State seat, some residents of the City of Goiás, allied to public agencies such as the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (Iphan), pooled their efforts in order to make the city the most important cultural heritage site of the state. When one acknowledges the importance of this city, one also has to discuss its rediscovery by means of its heritage, now heavily explored by the local tourism boards, as well as the impacts that this rediscovery of architecture and urbanism - through actions from Iphan and part of the city's residents – brought, and still bring, to the cultural and social scene of the state of Goiás, besides the fact that the city was conferred the World Heritage Site status from Unesco in 2001.Item Arte, arquitetura e cultura: caminhos para a resistência na obra de Lina Bo Bardi e de Hélio Oiticica(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-27) Aleixo, Paulo Arthur Silva; Caixeta, Eline Maria Mora Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5246618096427219; Caixeta, Eline Maria Mora Pereira; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Pereira, Maíra TeixeiraIn the vibrant Brazilian cultural production of the 1950s and 1960s, the approximation between the ideals of different fields of expression was common. This was a time when professionals in the arts and architecture were interested in moving out of their narrow spheres, taking a political stand by rethinking cultural production, aiming to strengthen the relationship with the popular strata and change the established situation. However, the 1964 coup d’état, which created a state of tension in the country's politics and culture, frustrated much of this artistic production, forcing the current thinkers to reorganize and rethink their acting strategies in the face of complicated reality established. In this scenario, the names of the Italian-Brazilian architect Lina Bo Bardi (Rome, 1914 - São Paulo, 1992) and the artist Hélio Oiticica (Rio de Janeiro, 1937 - Rio de Janeiro, 1980) are protagonists in the construction of a thought that sought, above all, ways to question the status quo and transform society. Acting in different places - Bo Bardi between Bahia and São Paulo, Oiticica between Rio de Janeiro and New York - and belonging to different generations and fields of production, their trajectories never crossed, despite having a strong affinity of convictions. The interventions of these figures have condensed but also served as a starting point for most of the concerns contained in the reflections of contemporary architects, artists and intellectuals. Thus, the present work seeks to initiate a reflection on the principles and vital interlocutions that Bo Bardi and Oiticica nurtured in the passage from the 1960s to the 1970s, trying to understand how their productions stood as voices of resistance to the established. To this end, it starts from successive approaches, isolating some influential figures and certain activities developed that, placed in the same perspective, can contribute to the image of a potent cultural phenomenon that fought for greater social and political engagement.Item As cidades contemporâneas e suas tecnologias: a perspectiva do City Information Modeling(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-03-28) Jaime, Iasmin de Sousa; Lima, Fábio Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9209362463242475; Lim, Fábio Ferreira; Abreu-Harbich, Loyde Vieira de; Andrade, Daniel da SilvaThe growth of cities and increasing population have provided several changes to be observed in the planning of cities, a society of few predictable directions is seen, often changing their ways of understanding and giving meaning to things. Coping with this new demand, one can notice the change in the modes of architectural and urbanistic production, in addition to the complex needs of the city. Studies have been carried out to solve these problems, among them, the use of technologies in the context of urban design, planning and management of cities. This paper presents the City Information Modeling (CIM) and other technologies applied in contemporary cities, with the objective of recognizing it as a technology and facilitator of urban management. From the methodological point of view, the research has an exploratory character, with a deep bibliographical revision, aiming to gather the greatest amount of information about the subject and to enable the construction of a conceptual structure to identify the possible applications of a CIM model. It is verified that this discussion is vast and complex, mainly due to the diversity of concepts related to the CIM, there is no unanimity about the concept among the several authors mentioned. The results obtained make it possible to verify that this new paradigm is in constant development, and it can undoubtedly be a tool of extreme relevance for city management, as well as for developers of urban projects. The conceptual framework of the use of CIM models has provided a more systemic view of the process involving the cities and the number of agents involved, such as the great challenge that the CIM has to face. The CIM is an incipient technology, and as City Information Modeling there is still a range of transformations that must occur, especially in public management structures for the operation of the process. To encompass all the complexity of a city in a model will require a long way to go, mainly due to the great political, legal and operational barriers.Item As outras faces da centralidade: periferias internas no bairro Jardim Goiás sob a ótica das narrativas populares(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-06-13) Silva, Bruna Santos da; Amaral, Camilo Vladimir de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6861542919882643; Amaral, Camilo Vladimir de Lima; Pantaleão, Sandra Catharinne; Mello, Fernando Antonio OliveiraThis work seeks to overcome the linear theories of centrality and periphery, exploring Jardim Goiás through cartographies and ethnographic techniques, with an approach in popular narratives. This aims to make visible experiences of segregation, here called internal peripheries, but which have been silenced by the dominant theories in the state of the art. Contemporary cities are structured in a segregated way, with serious social consequences. The theories of centrality and periphery, incorporated in simple geometries, do not account for the complexity of segregation relations, such as those that take place in Jardim Goiás. In what are seen as centralities by experts, there are also other internal peripheries. It is necessary a sensitive look at the other, with ethnographies and counter-hegemonic cartographies, which make it possible to unveil these other geometries. The research developed was based on techniques used in psychogeography, which is a methodology that studies the relationship of people with the spaces in which they live and the effects that the environments reflect on their social relations and emotions. The main one being drift, which founded the construction of counter-hegemonic cartographies of the places of study. Ethnographic techniques were also applied, such as semi-structured interviews in the Jardim Goiás neighborhood, a neighborhood located in the South of Goiânia and chosen as a cutout for the development of the research. Together, biographical surveys were carried out, the studies carried out were complemented with visual anthropology, in order to contribute to the popular narratives in the search for these other faces of the centralities and the existence of internal peripheries that structure the metropolis of Goiânia. Through the surveys in Jardim Goiás, three internal peripheries were found: We classified them as stigmatized, irregular and officialized peripheries, located respectively in the Olympic Building, in the core of Jardim Goiás and in Vila Lobó. These are areas marked by the presence of low-income people, social stigmas and, some of them, by the lack of basic infrastructure, health equipment and education. Because of these issues, they are no longer considered as part of the centrality that is Jardim Goiás. Considering the importance of adapting buildings to the conditions of the climate in which they are inserted, this work aims to analyze the relation between the principles and strategies of bioclimatic architecture and the design solutions adopted in examples of modernist residences in the city of Goiânia-GO. To this end, three buildings were selected, among those already mentioned in previous works, which became the object of study. Initially, the residences were analyzed in a descriptive way, verifying their characteristics, the adaptation strategies present and how they perform in relation to the local climate conditions. Then, the residences were analyzed in a quantitative way through computer simulations elaborated in the DesignBuilder® software, in which the results obtained regarding the operating temperature of the original situation of the residence were compared with other scenarios in which adaptation strategies were changed or removed. The scenarios were: changing the composition of the walls, removing shading elements and changing roof components. This allowed to verify and quantify the influence of such strategies on the thermal performance of the building. From the descriptive and quantitative analyzes made, several positive solutions were revealed, which are related to bioclimatic strategies and enabled effective improvements in the thermal performance of the homes. However, solutions that were inappropriate for the city's climate and that affected the thermal performance were also found. The study proved to be important to disseminate good design practices for adapting to the climate of architectural production in the modern period and, thus, to contribute to future building projects that enhance the use of bioclimatic principles when applying them properly, enabling the optimization of building thermal performance.Item Avaliação das ações de acessibilidade propostas no Plano Diretor de Goiânia (Lei Nº 171/2007)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-08-30) Dias, Wesley Afonso da Silva; Hora, Karla Emmanuela Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6451685640638572; Traldi, Patrícia Layne Alves; Kallas, Luana Miranda EsperThe actions towards urban mobility involve many factors, as the elaboration of a plan for urban mobility, which results in tools to be applied to improve the population’s quality of life in any city, aiming to prioritize public transport over individual, non-motorized vehicles over motorized ones, besides the improvement on displacement and road infrastructure. For that reason, evaluating these plans constitute an important stage, once it allows us to understand if the actions meet the goals proposed by the policies, if the financial resources are being well destined and applied and in what measure the non-effectiveness of the plan can generate problems to the city. Costa (2008) and Frey (2000) state that it is necessary to create evaluations for this took, as they aiming to guarantee the good development of the plan and to verify if it is necessary to adapt the program which is being developed, so that can may be taken actions. About the systems of urban mobility, different studies as Vasconcellos’s (2013) and Maricato’s (2011) point to the existence of crisis in most Brazilian cities, making the instruments for evaluation and monitoring even more relevant. Considering these elements, the goal of this study is to evaluate the actions towards urban mobility included in the Master Plan for Goiânia (Law number 171/2007) and the legislations which derive from it, paying special attention to the urban accessibility. To do so, we carried three kinds of research methodologies: bibliographical and documental, as well as the application of an evaluative method for public policies through the use of indicators by the confrontation of data between what was executed and the budget destined to these actions. The Indicators of Mobility have been usually applied on this kind of evaluation, because the measurement of their variables is easy to deal with, allowing agility on the decision making processes. The results indicate that there are no processes for monitoring and evaluating accessibility actions relative to the urban mobility system. It starts with the analysis of the political discourse disseminated by Pedro Ludovico Teixeira, in favor of moving the capital to a place better adjusted to his political interests, after the triumph of the Brazilian Revolution of 1930. Therefore, he builds powerful social representations, based on the images of the old and the new capital, in order to oppose those against this change and consolidate his government. In addition to the speech and propaganda, Ludovico uses, as a statement element, the urban plan designed by Attilio Corrêa Lima, creating a modern intentional monument to be immortalized, translated by the monumental Goiás Avenue. Then, the city experiences a vertiginous growth in its territory and population, mainly after the 1950s, resulting in the disfigurement of its pioneering core. The spatial transformations verified in Goiás Avenue are representative of this scenario, such as its verticalization process and the changes in its layout to meet the demands from the public transportation. From these losses, consequences of the progressive mentality that is rooted in the local culture, arise the first initiatives to preserve the material evidences of the beginning Goiânia, culminating with its federal preservation in 2003. From this institutionalization as a national heritage, it is focused the appropriation by the city inhabitants, through the research of the urban imaginary created since the pioneer’s city until the present day, highlighting striking points in this trajectory. The village was incoorporatted to the city becoming a disctrict. This fact brought a variety of modifications to the urban landscape and to the cultural aspects. In this way some tradittions were lost and the way of life have given space to to the news ones. In this role of losses some territorialities stand out and are fundamentals as support of memory of the district and apparatus for the Campinas identity. One of those is the soccer team “Atletico Clube Goianiense”, which arised in the middle of Campinas in 1937 but doesn’t belongs to the adiministrative limito f the district. It was a fundamental element as way of manifestation the rivality between Goiânia and Campinas in the capital development period. Contributing, then, to the mainnantance of the traditions and the simbolic elements of the Society of Campinas. The soccer team had lived glorious moments and decadence with the unconditional support of its crowd, specially when they saw themseves in the eminence of loose its greater patrimony the Antonio Accioly Stadium. Hence, this study had the goal of understand who is the Atletic fan and how his territoriality performs the function of memory transmitter and part of the identity construction of the district. In this way, sought for authors that have explored the territory, terriotarialities and reterritorialities issues. As well as it was searched for author that have discussed identity andmemory aspects about rites and symbols and another pertinent issues. It is an observation on the historiography of modern Brazilian architecture, through the context investigation of this architect’s production, reconstructing his professional path from graduating (1959-1963) to the establishment in the city of Goiânia (1968), region where most of his projects and works are registered. The research scope is the observation of the whole of this architecture dating from the years 1964 to 1989. The House of the Architect (1967-1976) is the inflection point of the analyzes undertaken, since it is the synthesis of the discourse by the tectonic character, the approximation with Brutalist Architecture from the São Paulo School (ZEIN, 2005) and the prototypical question of the formal structure. It refers to an exploratory research, of the documentary type using primary and secondary sources, whose building is the main document, the starting point to formulate the propositions and the necessary cutouts for understanding the object. Architecture and design, due to their attributions, have the mission of thinking about welcoming spaces for this social category with emphasis on their specificities and subjectivities. Long-stay institutions are institutionalized spaces of collective housing for the elderly with social vulnerability, until then seen as places of exclusion, many with characteristics of precariousness, loneliness and isolation of the elderly. However, there have been advances in public policies that regulate the offers of reception units, so that social vulnerability is no longer a requirement to enter these institutions, which are becoming increasingly attractive as a new concept of housing. With the aging of the population in Brazil, it is necessary to know the reality of the host institutions and the perception of them by the residents themselves. The objective of this research is to investigate how the architectural spaces of these institutions and their sensory attributes are able to influence the emotional aspect and quality of life of the elderly. Therefore, the research will use the phenomenological approach, emphasizing the relationship between user and environment. The qualitative method of case study of Vila Vida in Goiânia will be used for documentation and analysis, with the use of instruments to assess environmental perception, through reports (oral history) and photographic language. To this end, they were rescued development, occupation and territorial expansion of the two cities and the metropolises process involving them. For centralities used a method based experts. Added to the method applied, the survey of characteristics related to the sub-center of Rio Verde Avenue, the land use, accessibility and trip generation. The analysis considered the influence suffered by the implementation of large projects, the Polos Travel Generators - PGV, which always directly affect the formation of these centralities and hence determine the mobility of citizens and accessibility to the region.
