Item “1, 2, feijão com arroz...”: o conhecimento matemático na educação infantil(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-08-28) Gomes, Joana D’Arc dos Santos; Alves, Nancy Nonato de Lima; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4708302A5; Alves, Nancy Nonato de Lima; Barbosa, Ivone Garcia; Soares, Marcos Antônio; Silveira, Telma Aparecida Teles MartinsThe present research, entitled "1, 2, beans and rice ...": the mathematical knowledge in Infantile Education, is linked to the research line "Training, Teaching Professionalization and Educational Work", of the Graduate Program in Education, Faculty of Education of the Federal University of Goiás (FE/UFG). It also includes the project "Public Policies and Education of Children in Goiás: history, conceptions, projects and practices", developed by the Center for Studies and Research of Childhood and its Education in Different Contexts (Nepiec) of FE/UFG. It was understood that mathematics is a human and cultural production present in the life of children since its birth and also in the institutions of Infantile Education, which are configured as a privileged locus of human formation, enabling the insertion of children in culture through scientific instruments and knowledge. Based on these premises, the way mathematical knowledge is present in Infantile Education was investigated, in order to understand the conceptions around this knowledge, and the situations in which it is approached in the institutions. Based on historical-dialectical materialism, a theoretical and empirical research was carried out involving teachers, educational agents and children of the municipal education network of Senador Canedo/GO. For the empirical realization of the research, different methodological procedures were used, such as: questionnaires, observations, dialogues, records in photographic field journals and with recorders. It was observed that mathematics is present in the institutions of Infantile Education in various situations, passing through pedagogical practice, through the actions and interactions of children and teachers. However, it was considered that these situations did not involve children in significant moments of mathematical learning, limiting them to everyday experiences and actions with mathematics. It was understood that situations with mathematical knowledge in Infantile need to enable children to understand the relationships, uses and social functions of this knowledge, expanding and systematizing it. In this sense, mathematical knowledge, in the pedagogical practice of the first stage of Basic Education, must go beyond everyday experiences and contacts, considering that, limited to this, it can lead the child to the instrumental and utilitarian knowledge of mathematics. Thus, it is fundamental to involve children in situations that lead them to reflect theoretically on mathematics, so that they can form concepts.Item 12 Improvisos para violão de Theodoro Nogueira: aspectos composicionais e idiomatismo técnico violonístico(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-03-28) Fujiyama, Laís Domingues; Meirinhos, Eduardo; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4799419Z0; Meirinhos, Eduardo; Costa, Carlos Henrique Coutinho Rodrigues; Antunes, Gilson Uehara Gimenes; Pereira, Marcelo FernandesThe present work deals with the discussion of the compositional aspects and technical idiomaticism of the 12 IMPROVISOS for guitar solo by Theodoro Nogueira. The dissertation is divided into three parts: the first one consists of a brief biography of the composer, which included the biographical’s recollection data (visit to the Zequinha de Abreu Museum, where the composer's Collection is at), interviews with guitarists Gilson Antunes and Geraldo Ribeiro (who recorded this cycle) and with the son of the composer João Antonio Nogueira. The second part consists on the compositional analysis processes of the improvisations, in confrontation with the nationalistic aesthetic influence and with the critics of other guitarists. We use the writings of the authors Schoenberg (2011) and White (1976) as the theoretical foundation for this aspect. In the third chapter, we intended to show the idiomatic aspects in his music writing. As a reference for our discussion about compositional and instrumental idiomaticism we consulted the writings of Tullio (2005), Kreutz (2014), Scarduelli (2007), Pereira (2012), Battistuzzo (2009) and Vasconcelos (2002). Some of our results have shown that, besides belonging to Brazilian nationalist aesthetics, Theodore Nogueira presents compositional peculiarities that put him in a position of visibility and academic interest in relation to his work for guitar, in addition to the technical level required for the performance of his parts is hard. The idiomatic suggestions for 12 Improvisos enhance the compositional aspects described in the previous chapter.Item A (loucura) entre parênteses: jogos goianos da saúde mental como dispositivo de desinstitucionalização e reinvenção da saúde(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-06-03) Sousa, Paulianny Mirelly Gonçalves de; Furtado, Roberto Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4253703423730148; Furtado, Roberto Pereira; Parreira, Fernanda Ramos; Wachs, FelipeThis research focuses on the Goiás Mental Health Games (JGSMental), a sports cultural event collectively constructed and self-managed by users, family members, students, and workers of the Goiás Psychosocial Care Network (RAPS). The event traces a path of protagonism from a deinstitutionalizing and anti-manicomial perspective of mental health care. The research question is: how do the JGSMental contribute to the mental health care process? The general objective was to analyze the collective construction of the JGSMental as a component of mental health care, based on the perception of users, RAPS workers, and Game organizers, as social actors involved. This qualitative research is characterized as a case study. The total sample consisted of five interviewees: 1 coordinator, 2 RAPS workers, and 2 users of mental health services. The semi-structured interview was used as a data collection tool. The data were analyzed using the content analysis technique. The results show that the Games' focus is on user participation, with an emphasis on horizontal relationships, mobilization, network articulation, self-management of health and life, circulation in public spaces, visibility, and the Anti-Manicomial Struggle as a political stance. Reflecting on the formation in the JGSMental construction and experimentation spaces from the collective organization itself as a therapeutic act brings us closer to the possibility of (re)inventing strategies for mediating the relationship with madness.Item A aplicação do Lean Six Sigma para aprimoramento da accountability nas decisões do Tribunal de Contas do Estado de Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-09-28) Santiago, Leonardo de Guimarães; Bevilacqua, Solon; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4706313748524604; Bevilacqua, Solon; Nemirovsky, Gabriel Gualhanone; Luz, Bruno Batista de CarvalhoThe Brazilian Courts of Auditors are entities structured to supervise the application of public resources, report their findings to society, hold those involved responsible and contribute to the correction of improprieties through the decisions they issue. This study analyzed the process of formatting, storing and consulting the decisions of the Court of Auditors of the State of Goiás, with the objective of evaluating whether the Court achieves a quality standard capable of favoring internal efficiency in monitoring the provisions handed down and instrumentalizing their follow-up by society. To do so, we used the Lean Six Sigma methodology, combining statistical models for measuring variability with business process management techniques. The results show low performance in relation to the conformity expected by the institution itself, mainly due to the elaboration of procedural documents and data registration without automation support that induces the fulfillment of quality requirements, a circumstance also observed in other Courts of Accounts in the country, indicating that the procedures used in the diagnosis and in the proposal for improvement presented can contribute to the improvement of other members of the Brazilian external control system.Item A atuação das organizações sociais de saúde nos hospitais de campanha dentro da política pública de saúde: um estudo no caso do estado de Goiás no contexto da pandemia da covid-19(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-05-16) Valle, Anna Carolina Miranda Bastos do; Motta, Fabrício Macedo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1446078229301388; Costa, Andréa Abrahão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2926748366855225; Costa, Andréa Abrahão; Valle, Vanice Regina Lírio do; Bitencourt, Caroline MullerThis research has the scope of investigating public hospital health policy based on management contracts with social health organizations in Goiás, focusing on the role of control bodies in monitoring and evaluating this public policy in the context of the covid-19 pandemic. 19. The universe of study is delimited in the analysis of the state hospital management within the scope of the Department of Health of the State of Goiás. The sample selected for the investigation is equivalent to the emergency management contracts carried out with social organizations for the management of field hospitals for the care of patients with covid-19. The theoretical framework for organizing this research is the Law and Public Policy Approach and the methodology adopted was bibliographic research and documentary research. The analysis method is presented through the deductive method. An analysis of federal legislation, national jurisprudence and state legislation was carried out to, together with the construction of the reference framework for public hospital management policy through social organizations in Goiás, raise the necessary legal subsidies to carry out the diagnosis. This was carried out in 3 (three) stages through qualitative research, of a descriptive nature, using the documentary approach. The first stage analyzes the scenario of the covid-19 pandemic in the State of Goiás and the related legislation. The second stage includes the diagnosis of SES' performance in the process of monitoring and evaluating management contracts during the covid-19 pandemic through the analysis of the items: (i) qualification; (ii) general information; (iii) financial and (iv) accountability. The third stage includes the analysis of the performance of the State Comptroller General (CGE), the Goiás Agency for Regulation, Control and Inspection of Public Services (AGR), the State Court of Auditors (TCE), the Legislative Assembly (ALEGO), of the Excellence Council of Public Hospital Units Managed by Social Health Organizations and the State Health Council in monitoring and evaluating the management contracts signed with OSS in Goiás for field hospitals in the years 2020 and 2021. At the end, it is necessary to structure the governance of the aforementioned public policy in order to have a coordinated action between the actors that compose the legal-institutional design, the broad evaluation of the public policy and not only the punctual monitoring of the management contracts, greater popular participation and social control, reformulation of procedures to avoid payments for estimates, verification of integrity programs, active internal control, external control of public policy and the realization of the fundamental social right of health for the population.Item A avaliação no ensino comunicativo de língua inglesa: uma análise de testes escritos(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2002-06-17) Lopes, Cristiane Rosa; Dalacorte, Maria Cristina Faria; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9262323548559269; Dalacorte, Maria Cristina Faria; Paiva, Vera Lúcia Menezes de Oliveira e; Figueiredo, Francisco José Quaresma deThis study aims at identifyng the main characteristics of written tests used by a private English school in the evaluation of the students’ learning process. It also aims at verifyng whether theses characteristics are in accordance with teaching method adopted by this school, which is the communicative approach. Finally, it analyses the probable backwash effect that the use of these tests have in the classroom practice. This research is based on language teaching and testing theories, mainly related to the communicative approach, and also the theories on types and qualities of language tests and backwash effect. In this study, I adopted the principles of the qualitative research method in order to collect and analyse the data. The results point out that there is an incompatibility between the communicative testing paradigms and the characteristics I have identified in these tests. The also indicate that this incompatibility compromises the evaluation process of the students and also the teaching practice that precedes the tests.Item A biblioteca escolar e sua contribuição para uma educação antirracista: utilização da literatura negro-brasileira na parceria entre bibliotecária(o) e professoras(es) a partir do uso do livro Becos da Memória(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-09-27) Sousa, Thaís Gabrielly Fernandes; Vreeswijk, Anna Maria Dias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3777175679487172; Vreeswijk, Anna Maria Dias; Valério, Erinaldo Dias; Rabelo, DaniloThis research aims to contribute to anti-racist education in secondary schools, presenting proposals for themes raised by reading the book Becos da Memória, by Conceição Evaristo, which can be dialogued with the different subjects in the school curriculum. To build the theoretical framework, we used works by various authors from a decolonial and contemporary perspective, prioritizing black people who produce in the field of Education and Librarianship, including Conceição Evaristo (2021), Muniz Sodré (2023), Eliane Cavalleiro (2021), bell hooks (2013), Zélia Amador de Deus (2020), Bernadete Campello (2012), Plácida Santos (2002), Marta Valentim (2002), Waldeck Silva (1995), Ezequiel Silva (1995), Emiliana Borges and Melina Santos (2020), Sara Vieira and Erinaldo Valério (2020), Vanessa Cardoso (2020), Nilma Lino Gomes (2021), Antonio Candido (1998), Sylvia Castrillón (2011), among others. This is basic research, with a qualitative approach and using the action research technique taught by Antônio Chizzotti (2014), with the teachers as active subjects and participants in the research. In order to validate the proposal for the educational product, two questionnaires were applied: an initial one, to survey the research participants; and a final questionnaire, to evaluate and validate the educational product produced by the librarian-researcher. To analyze the results, the Content Analysis technique was applied, as taught by Maria Laura Puglisi Barbosa Franco (2021) and Paulo Roberto Dalla Valle and Jacques de Lima Ferreira (2024). The action research culminated in the construction of the educational product, a textual activity guide, entitled “Anti-racist education based on black-Brazilian literature: interlocutions between ‘Becos da Memória’ and the subjects of the new high school”, developed during the Professional Master's Degree in Teaching in Basic Education of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program at CEPAE/UFG, made available in online format. The activity guide presents suggestions for interlocutions between themes raised by the reading of the book Becos da Memória, by Conceição Evaristo, for dialog with the racial themes proposed in the teaching curriculum of the Positivo System, adopted by the field school, which can be developed by all high school teachers, especially with the partnership of the librarian, classroom and school library. This dissertation and the educational product aim to present yet another tool to combat racism within the school environment, promoting awareness about being an anti-racist educator, learning about the history of black people in Brazil and its social effects from post-slavery to the present day, also seeking to strengthen the role of the librarian as a reader and educator, proposing dynamic activities that can be used as a starting point for building new proposals, promoting literature as an integral part of the school environmentItem A centralidade dos afetos de medo e ódio na composição do discurso fascista(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-11-14) Ribeiro, Anna Karla Cintra; Roure, Susie Amâncio Gonçalves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2796807492405078; Roure, Susie Amâncio Gonçalves de; Resende, Maria do Rosário Silva; Sampaio, Eloy San Carlo MaximoThis study aims to comprehend the affects that found contemporary society since its capitalist configuration. The logic of capital as the foundation of any possibility of satisfaction leads to models increasingly based on the sense of freedom as the ultimate reason for all fierce efforts in production processes. However, what can be seen in this format of society is just another perspective for the continuity of the discourse of domination, since, despite the illusion of freedom, the biggest beneficiary continues to be the owner of capital. Thus, this research begins with a historical-political and social elucidation on the establishment of capitalism as a dominant system, based on the discourse inscribed in it. In this sense, the comprehending that this discourse is determined as belonging to the fascist discourse, led to comprehending of the constitutive processes that hold fundamental marks based on identity constructions, just as in relationships with others. Psychoanalysis, with its conceptualization of terms such as narcissism and identity, proved to be a fundamental theorical basis in understanding the subject that emerges there, and a consistent way of coping by defending the end of a notion of the individual strictly focused on the interests of the Other. Along this path, it became necessary to delve deeper into the structures and demands of a selection of affections intertwined in fascist discourse as corresponding to both its sustenance and the genesis of identity in this social format. With this point, it arrived at the axis of elucidation of the fear and hatred’s affections as creators of modern society. As reflections of a melancholic dynamic, these affections support a fundamental fantasy of the loss of an imaginary object that sheds light on several movements of discrimination, extermination and dangerousness attributed to others, central mechanisms in fascist discourse.Item A colonização militar no sertão de Amaro Leite: presídio de Santa Cruz, 1854-1864(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-05-08) Almeida, Maria Juliana de Freitas; Nazareno, Elias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1486334927436240; Nazareno, Elias; Almeida, Maria Regina Celestino de; Kodama, Kaori; Araújo, Ordália Cristina Gonçalves; Magalhães, Sônia Maria deThis thesis addresses the theme of the Military Colonization Project. The study of this project, implemented in several Brazilian provinces, including the province of Goiás, from the second half of the 19th century, aims to contribute to the historical knowledge of territorial and human conquest undertaken in Brazilian inland regions where colonization was incomplete or not yet established. The research focuses on the Santa Cruz Prison in the Sertão de Amaro Leite, with a timeframe that covers the years 1854 to 1864. This period encompasses the foundation of the prison until its transfer to the Jurupensen Port, on the banks of the Rio Vermelho, near the City of Goiás. The research aims to examine the Military Colonization Project, contextualizing its political and economic motivations, as well as analyzing its implementation in the province of Goiás, including the strategies and challenges faced. It seeks to investigate the social, political, and economic transformations resulting from the project's implementation in the Sertão de Amaro Leite region, considering its impact on the social structure and regional economy. The understanding of the relationships between the military settlers and the local population, especially the Indigenous peoples, as well as the analysis of the living conditions of the colonial prison's inhabitants, are also highlighted. The research addresses the emerging social dynamics and the strategies of coexistence and resistance adopted by the various groups involved, and the impacts of this territorial occupation policy on the Avá-Canoeiro Indigenous people, in the face of the changes caused by the colonization project. With this investigation, we hope to reflect on the history of Goiás from the perspective of the prison's inhabitants, who were both victims and protagonists of the historical scene. Our research adopted an approach that combines documentary analysis and literature review. The records were examined through quantitative analysis, including statistical data treatment. Simultaneously, we conducted a qualitative analysis aiming to understand the daily life of the colonizing institution through a process of reconstruction, representation, and comparison. The establishment of military prisons in the Sertão de Amaro Leite allowed the imperial government to have greater control over the region, as well as enabling the expansion of the non-Indigenous population in the area. The analysis of the Santa Cruz Prison reveals the multiple facets of the Military Colonization Project. While the imperial government achieved its objectives due to the increase in the non-Indigenous population and the implementation of roads and paths, the residents also experienced benefits such as strengthened security and stimulated trade. However, for the Indigenous peoples, especially the Avá-Canoeiro, the consequences were disastrous, resulting in drastic changes in their way of life and the loss of lives and territories. Through the study of the Santa Cruz Prison, we can understand the complexity and varied impacts of the military colonization project for Brazil. This deeper understanding not only enriches our knowledge of the past but also allows us to reflect on current issues related to colonization, Indigenous rights, and regional development.Item A comparative study of text classification techniques for hate speech detection(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-01-27) Silva, Rodolfo Costa Cezar da; Rosa, Thierson Couto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4414718560764818; Rosa, Thierson Couto; Moura, Edleno Silva de; Silva, Nádia Félix Felipe daThe dissemination of hate speech on the Internet, specially on social media platforms, has been a serious and recurrent problem. In the present study, we compare eleven methods for classifying hate speech, including traditional machine learning methods, neural network-based approaches and transformers, as well as their combination with eight techniques to address the class imbalance problem, which is a recurrent issue in hate speech classification. The data transformation techniques we investigated include data resampling techniques and a modification of a technique based on compound features (c_features).All models have been tested on seven datasets with varying specificity, following a rigorous experimentation protocol that includes cross-validation and the use of appropriate evaluation metrics, as well as validation of the results through appropriate statistical tests for multiple comparisons. To our knowledge, there is no broader comparative study in data enhancing techniques for hate speech detection, nor any work that combine data resampling techniques with transformers. Our extensive experimentation, based on over 2,900measurements, reveal that most data resampling techniques are ineffective to enhance the effectiveness of classifiers, with the exception of ROS which improves most classification methods, including the transformers. For the smallest dataset, ROS provided gains of 60.43% and 33.47% for BERT and RoBERTa, respectively. The experiments revealed that c_features improved all classification methods that they could be combined with. The compound features technique provided satisfactory gains of up to 7.8% for SVM. Finally,we investigate cost-effectiveness for a few of the best classification methods. This analysis provided confirmation that the traditional method Logistic Regression (LR) combined with the use of c_features can provide great effectiveness with low overhead in all datasets consideredItem A complexidade do trabalho docente em alfabetização: tessituras de um coletivo de alfabetizadoras(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-06-05) Souza, Odiliana Ribeiro de; Alves, Wanderson Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3095329344468703; Alves, Wanderson Ferreira; Barros, Maria Elizabeth Barros de; Fernandes, Eliane Marquez da Fonseca; Toassa, Gisele; Limonta, Sandra ValériaThis thesis examines the teaching practices of literacy teachers, with a focus on the dimensions of activity identified by Yves Clot: personal, interpersonal, transpersonal, and impersonal. The thesis presented is that the challenges observed in a group of literacy teachers reflect and relate to issues and problems that are specific to the macro-level organization of work. This organization hinders the profession and acts as a barrier to the development of the teachers' own activities. To comprehend this movement, a case study was conducted in 2023, which focused on the work of a group of literacy teachers teaching 1st and 2nd grade in a Full-Time School (EMTI) that serves the initial years of elementary school in the Rede Municipal de Educação de Goiânia (RME). The objective of this study is to gain a better understanding of the work of literacy teachers, based on the studies of the Activity Clinic. The focus is on the work of Yves Clot, and this perspective, in dialogue with authors from the Clinics of Work, can lead to a deeper understanding of the working conditions and the individual and collective engagements involved in the activity of literacy teachers. In methodological terms, we conducted a literature review and analyzed the guidelines provided to literacy teachers for their work. We also utilized semi-structured interviews, coaching, simple self-confrontation, and observation of teaching practices to analyze the work experience of the members of this collective. The study highlights the various aspects of a literacy teacher's work, including the rules of the trade, tool production, instrument and resource utilization for children's writing acquisition, the teacher's language, prudent know-how, pedagogical values and meanings, appreciation for work, recognition of a job well done, team self-regulation, and the importance of working relationships. However, there were contradictions and challenges regarding the organization of pedagogical work within the educational institution and the management of the school network. Such issues have an impact on the teaching activity, constituting either a source of impediment, or a source of development of the activity, materializing as a resource for literacy teachers to overcome the challenges imposed by the profession.Item A concepção dialógica e as políticas universitárias extensionistas na Universidade Federal de Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-08-29) Félix, Murilo Emos; Costa, Andréa Abrahão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2926748366855225; Coelho, Diva Júlia Sousa da Cunha Safe; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4931359354042532; Coelho, Diva Júlia Sousa da Cunha Safe; Carvalho, Sílzia Alves; Oliveira, Gustavo Paschoal Teixeira de CastroUniversity extension as one of the pillars of universities plays a fundamental role in the pedagogical process of undergraduates and society, while serving as an effective method of sharing science and popular knowledge. However, since the period of redemocratization of the country and re-signification of the State and of education, based on Paulo Freire's thought, university extension not only communicates and disseminates science, but occurs in attention to the dialogic principle in an attempt to overcome the welfare conception . In the sense of dialogue, the university promotes a qualified interaction through the exchange of knowledge, no longer just providing one-way information. In this context, in 2014, as provided for in the National Education Plan, the mandatory inclusion of at least 10% of the undergraduate curriculum dedicated exclusively to extension. The research surveys how the Federal University of Goiás politically develops extension. As for the curricular insertion process, the research elaborated a questionnaire applied to the professors of the Campus Goiás of the UFG, as well as used the database supplied by the Pro-Rectory of Extension and Culture of the UFG. Inferences were drawn from both instruments as to the perspectives of extension up to this stage of implementation of the curricularization, among the main ones we can mention: the positive reception of the curricularization process and the difficulty of redoing the curricula . The investigation involves the analysis of the UFG's Institutional Development Plans (PDI's) and other institutional documents such as the Management Plan and the Pedagogical Political Projects of the Courses. Finally, the research produced a diagnosis on university extension at UFG, with the main conclusions being the finding of a fragmented policy for extension in the sense of a preponderance of actions developed for convenience. On the other hand, the curricularization process must change this situation with the inclusion of actions in the PPC's, making them officially part of the course policyItem A concepção integrada das bacias hidrográficas na geografia escolar(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-08-26) Faria, Stephani da Cruz; Alves, Adriana Olivia; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2629325348519209; Alves, Adriana Olivia; Queiroz, Fabiana Rodrigues Oliveira; Oliveira, Karla Annyelly Teixeira deThe main objective of this research is to evaluate the potential of an integrated conception of river basins, together with the theoretical-methodological path, for the integrated understanding of river basins among schoolchildren. Oriented from the perspective of qualitative research, the investigation presents itself as action research, Thiollent (2022) and presents as a problem, “How can the river basin contribute to an integrated approach to the physical-natural and social components in School Geography?”. During the research, a methodological journey will be carried out together with the students, focusing on the Lajinha stream watershed. Along the way, activities will be developed, which generate the understanding of the concept of the river basin unit, and the understanding of its dynamics and functionalities in a tangible way, by relating the concepts presented to the situations of the local basin, the place where the students live. The investigation will focus on students in the sixth year (in which I am a leading teacher), in the final years of elementary school, since the content of river basins and the physical-natural components are planned to be worked on at this stage in the curricular documents. Throughout the process we will rely on the methodological path of Cavalcanti (2019), presented by the author for mediation in the teaching of geography. All stages of the journey and it as a whole, present in its development the stages of problematization, systematization and synthesis, with the purpose of encompassing the student's reality and relating their everyday knowledge to scientific knowledge. The methodological proposals of the route include the use of different languages and strategies to approach river basins, from the use of conceptual systems, maps, photographs and reports, to the elaboration of simpler representation models such as the leaf of the tree, and more designed like the model. In this way, students will have several possibilities to understand and represent, as well as have a geosystemic vision in the theoretical construction of their place of experience materialized in the geographic landscape. It is believed that the result of the research will present the development of an integrated conception of the physical-natural and social components of the river basins of the schoolchildren participating in the research, so that they relate the knowledge acquired with their daily experience and citizenship.Item A consolidação do setor farmacêutico na economia global: crescimento, influência, desvios e marketing(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-10-02) Stacciarini, João Henrique Santana; Chaveiro, Eguimar Felício; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9540141505352914; Chaveiro, Eguimar Felício; Castilho, Denis; Vasconcellos, Luiz Carlos Fadel de; Marques, Ana Carolina de Oliveira; Silva, Ronaldo daThis study investigates how the pharmaceutical sector has become one of the largest and most influential economic sectors of our time. It presents figures and information that support this claim and aims to elucidate the factors that contributed to such a rise. Since Alexander Fleming's discovery of penicillin in 1928, pharmaceutical industries have evolved from small entities - often family-owned and operating locally - to multinational corporations valued at hundreds of billions of dollars with global influence. However, beyond the discovery and diversification of drugs, increased demand, and expansion of production capacity, part of this evolution is underpinned by complex, and in some cases perverse, strategies prioritizing profit maximization over public and individual health. The findings of this study reveal that, over the past two decades, the sector's revenues have quadrupled, reaching $1.48 trillion in 2022, an amount comparable to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of developed countries such as Spain. The twenty largest companies in the sector have a combined market value of $3.5 trillion and assets totaling $1.86 trillion, generating annual revenues of $820 billion and profits of $181.6 billion. For context, the assets of these companies alone are comparable to the GDP of all Sub-Saharan African countries. Companies, like Johnson & Johnson, have a market value exceeding the GDP of 184 nations. The study also examines and discusses questionable practices adopted by the pharmaceutical industry, including investing billions in lobbying and election financing, influencing regulatory agencies, financially supporting patient organizations, sponsoring authors of "Clinical Guidelines", manipulating and concealing drug research and tests, and directing massive investments to strengthen ties with prescribers, university hospitals, and academic institutions. Concrete examples of these actions are provided, backed by studies, data surveys, and court decisions, underscoring the alarming consequences of this reality. Lastly, the research analyzes pharmaceutical marketing as a primary sales boost strategy. Despite drugs not being ordinary commodities, susceptible to promotion under the lens of rampant consumption, companies invest billions annually in directto-consumer advertising. In the Brazilian context, the pharmaceutical sector stands out as one of the main investors in marketing. In recent years, several companies in the field have ranked among the highest individual advertising spenders. The emergence of digital marketing strategies driven by the internet, advanced algorithms, and social networks, combined with advertising campaigns harmful to public and collective health, underscore a concerning and challenging scenario.Item A construção de identidades de gênero a partir da leitura de narrativas literárias de recepção infantil e juvenil(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-06-25) Costa, Flávia Ferreira da; Martins, Lucinéia Scremin; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6636418419069593; Vieira, Ilma Socorro Gonçalves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7504401268469781; Vieira, Ilma Socorro Gonçalves; Martins, Lucinéia Scremin; Faria, Vivianne Fleury de; Galvão, Flávia Motta de Paula; Melo, Keila Matida deThis dissertation is the result of research conducted within the scope of the Professional Master's Degree Program in Teaching in Basic Education (PPGEEB-Cepae-UFG), at the Center for Teaching and Applied Education Research (CEPAE) of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). The underlying motivation for this study lies in understanding the transformative potential of literary reading and the conviction that access to it is a fundamental right, transcending the simple act of reading to constitute an essential citizenship practice for individuals' effective participation in a literate society. The general objective of the research was to demonstrate how certain narratives of children's and youth reception can contribute to discussions that lead to the deconstruction of stereotypes based on sexist and patriarchal conceptions by presenting fictional universes in which the constitution of female characters highlights the importance of a human formation process based on gender equity and the valorization of aspects and attitudes that seek this equity. The specific objectives were thus defined: to investigate the contributions of literary reading to the formation of readers, to contribute to the formation of literary readers in Basic Education, based on the study of narratives of children's and youth reception by Brazilian authors; to analyze how certain female characters are represented in the literature of Ana Maria Machado, Marina Colasanti, and Vita Murrow, in light of discussions about gender; to create conditions for students from a public school to become acquainted with narratives by these authors, providing new aesthetic experiences through readings that address cultural, social, and gender themes; to reflect on the importance of female-authored literature for the formation and strengthening of women's identity; and to contribute to the construction of gender identities in a perspective capable of breaking the chain of patriarchal practices in society. For the field research, action research methodology was adopted, in a qualitative approach, involving students from the 6th grade of Elementary Education, aged between 11 and 12 years, from a school in the northern region of Goiânia. Participant observation during the mediated readings enabled the analysis of the students' responses to the proposals for aesthetic experience, as well as the impact of these readings on the deconstruction of stereotypes that contribute to gender inequalities, prejudices, and discriminations. The analyses showed that literary reading plays a crucial role in the formation of readers, promoting the development of autonomous, critical, reflective, and, above all, humanized individuals. As an educational product of this research, an e-book entitled “WEAVING GENDER IDENTITIES: contributions of literary reading of narratives for children and young people", containing information on the investigated theme, presentation of the narratives addressed, and the didactics used. The theoretical frameworks that underpinned this study were diversified, including studies by renowned authors such as Adichie (2017), Aguiar and Bordini (1988), Auad (2004; 2022), Bourdieu (1989; 2007; 2011), Caldim (2021), Candido (1973; 2002; 2011), Chauí (1994), Coelho (1985; 2000; 2008), Colomer (2017), Louro (1995; 2000; 2002; 2013; 2014), Murano (2002), Sandroni (2007), Scott (1990; 2012), Thiollent (2011), Zilberman (1983; 1991; 2005; 2008); Zolin (2007; 2009; 2010), among others.Item A cooperativa de jornalistas de Goiás – Projornal (1978-1988): narrativas de memórias midiáticas e culturais(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-09-02) Souza, Kalyne Menezes; Borges, Rosana Maria Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8386191325702205; Borges, Rosana Maria Ribeiro; Dias, André Bonsanto; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Palacio Montiel, Celia del; Sousa, Jorge Pedro Almeida Silva eThe research approaches the narratives of memories of the Cooperative of Journalists of Goiás (Projornal), a Journalism experience in the final period of the Military Dictatorship in Brazil. The research had as its main objectives to identify, to understand and narrate the history of the Cooperative, which even being of great relevance to the History of Journalism in Goiás and in Brazil, it didn’t have academic and scientific records, remaining silenced. It is understood that Projornal is situated in a specific space and time and, therefore, it was based on a Cultural Analysis based on Cultural History, specifically in the History of Press and Cultural Studies. The research has dialogued mainly with authors such as Halbwachs and Le Goff, who approach the studies of memory and collective memory; Thompson, who presents the development of Communication and the different media and Barbosa, who deals with the development of the Press in Brazil. The research has a qualitative approach, and its methods are Historical Research and the Oral History. As methodological instruments, it used the Bibliographical Survey, the Documentary Research, the Analysis of Narratives and the In-Depth Interview. The thesis reveals that Projornal can be considered an alternative and independent project of journalism in Goiás, moved mainly by a need of generating a job market and by the execution of a journalistic work according to what the professionals that participated in Projornal believed in.Item “A Coprec me ensinou a viver” dimensões educativas e libertadoras do trabalho de catadores e catadoras de materiais de reciclagens em Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-04-19) Oliveira, Emanuell Lopes Barros; Alves, Amone Inácia; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4562850692564105; Alves, Amone Inácia; Machado, Maria Izabel; Almeida, Rosivaldo Pereira deThis academic work is research from the Postgraduate Program in Education at the Faculty of Education at UFG – PPGE/FE whose Research Line is Work, Education and Social Movements. Restoration work has a socio-environmental function of great relevance for the population of Goiânia, therefore, the city of Goiânia has a significant number of groups of recyclable material collectors who work directly in collection, but still face difficulties in carrying out their tasks. activities. In this sense, the research focused on the Dom Fernando Recycling Cooperative – Cooprec, focusing on the process of training waste pickers involved in collective work, taking into account learning and work as a social function. During the research, in the field of education and work, we relied on Adorno, Castel, Durkheim, Freire, Marx, Schwart, Teixeira, Vatin, from the perspective of cooperativism, collective organizations and social movements, we anchored ourselves on Caldart, Gohn, Kuenzer, Schneider, Singer, Valadares, Warren among others. The investigation was carried out with the aim of understanding how members and cooperative members are trained in their work, from a perspective of work as an educational principle. Furthermore, research has turned its attention to aspects of precarious work and education (formal, informal, non-formal). During the research, two semi-structured interviews were carried out with two cooperative founders of Cooprec, in addition to visits and observations of the collectors in their work environment. Given this, it was possible to identify learning characteristics acquired through carrying out the work itself, through techniques, postures, handling machines and coexistence and collective interaction between collectors, knowledge that is not exactly acquired in formal educational establishments. The research also showed us particularities of Cooprec's collectors, which differs from other collector cooperatives, as it does not have former street or landfill collectors on its staff. With this, it was possible to reflect on the characteristics and profile of the collectors, the complexities of the work, the subjectivities and the way in which activities and learning take place from collective and precarious work. Item À deriva: temporalidades no repertório de Paulinho da Viola (1965-1996)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-04-26) Medeiros, Kenia Erica Gusmão; Teixeira, Rafael Saddi; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2919949012379731; Teixeira, Rafael Saddi; Bittencourt, Libertad Borges; Berbert Junior, Carlos Oiti; Mello, Maria Therezinha Ferraz Negrão de; Rosa, Robervaldo LinharesThis thesis aims to study the repertoire of the composer and singer Paulinho da Viola. Their songs are the chosen sources and are analyzed mainly in their discursive aspects and to some extent in their sonorous characteristics. The notions and perceptions of temporality present in their songs are discussed in these pages and related to their own creation and popularization as time measures. The historical context of his productions and the identitary senses of his verses are also appreciated in this work, as well as his understanding of samba and its transformations over time are also an important part of this text. The lyrics of Paulinho sing the psychological time of his characters promote their articulation with dimensions of the natural, social and historical times. Among the many metaphors that the artist uses is highlighted in this thesis that of water. In his work water acquires different senses and represents movements of life. Its correlated terms such as seas, rivers, boats and sailors, among others are elements that deepen the temporalities sung by Paulinho flowing in reflections on the drift that represents the existence.Item A descolonização da instrução pública latino-americana nos ensaios de José Carlos Mariátegui (1923-1928)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-12-19) Silva, Luan Frederico Paiva da; Nazareno, Elias; hhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/1486334927436240; Nazareno, Elias; Capel, Heloísa Selma Fernandes; Araújo, Ordália Cristina GonçalvesThis research proposes to establish an intercultural dialogue with the ideas of the Peruvian José Carlos Mariátegui (1894-1930), an indigenist/socialist thinker who criticized the survival of the colony in the Peruvian Republic. Through the notions of “coloniality”, first developed by the Peruvian sociologist Aníbal Quijano (1928-2018), we analyze Mariategui’s essays on Public Instruction in Peru and Latin America, systematizing his anti-colonial critique of the way Education was thought. As a result of the analysis, we identified Mariátegui as one of the representatives of the approximation between indigenous and non-indigenous knowledge in Latin America, especially with regard to places of knowledge production, as the university itself proposes to be.
