Item A cooperativa de jornalistas de Goiás – Projornal (1978-1988): narrativas de memórias midiáticas e culturais(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-09-02) Souza, Kalyne Menezes; Borges, Rosana Maria Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8386191325702205; Borges, Rosana Maria Ribeiro; Dias, André Bonsanto; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Palacio Montiel, Celia del; Sousa, Jorge Pedro Almeida Silva eThe research approaches the narratives of memories of the Cooperative of Journalists of Goiás (Projornal), a Journalism experience in the final period of the Military Dictatorship in Brazil. The research had as its main objectives to identify, to understand and narrate the history of the Cooperative, which even being of great relevance to the History of Journalism in Goiás and in Brazil, it didn’t have academic and scientific records, remaining silenced. It is understood that Projornal is situated in a specific space and time and, therefore, it was based on a Cultural Analysis based on Cultural History, specifically in the History of Press and Cultural Studies. The research has dialogued mainly with authors such as Halbwachs and Le Goff, who approach the studies of memory and collective memory; Thompson, who presents the development of Communication and the different media and Barbosa, who deals with the development of the Press in Brazil. The research has a qualitative approach, and its methods are Historical Research and the Oral History. As methodological instruments, it used the Bibliographical Survey, the Documentary Research, the Analysis of Narratives and the In-Depth Interview. The thesis reveals that Projornal can be considered an alternative and independent project of journalism in Goiás, moved mainly by a need of generating a job market and by the execution of a journalistic work according to what the professionals that participated in Projornal believed in.Item A imaginação melodramática em animações de Makoto Shinkai(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-08-17) Santos, Thátilla Sousa; Satler, Lara Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7575445484262991; Satler, Lara Lima; Ishiki, Michiko Okano; Nogueira, Lisandro MagalhãesThis research has the following question: “How is melodramatic imagination built in the animations Children Who Chase Lost Voices (2011), Garden of Words (2013) and Your Name (2016) by Makoto Shinkai?”. It starts with the understanding that the Japanese animations chosen as objects use melodramatic imagination characteristics as strategies to elaborate their narratives. The stories are built to explore emotions, produce dramatic and emotional effects, reach the viewers' subjectivity and lead them to identification and reflection. Thus, it sought to understand the general characteristics of anime, highlight its history and evolution, understand melodrama as a genre, the way it has adapted over the years until reaching the notion of melodramatic imagination, observe some of its aspects in the Japanese context and identify its characteristics within of the chosen films. As a methodological approach, bibliographical research was carried out on themes involving the study and film analysis of the three animations to identify traces of the melodramatic imagination from specific points, such as the construction of the characters, music, narrative, moral, among others. The research achieved its expected results, ensured greater knowledge about Japanese animations and melodrama, found melodramatic characteristics in the analyzed works of Makoto Shinkai and showed that these attributes can help to bring people of different nationalities and cultures closer together by reaching the emotional and the subjectivity of the spectators.Item A produção de sentidos sobre as queimadas na Amazônia a partir das reportagens do Fantástico: recepção, cidadania e meio ambiente(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-08-13) Jorge, Taynara Flávia Sanches; Oliveira, Tiago Mainieri de; Oliveira, Tiago Mainieri de; Silva, Magno Luiz Medeiros da; Braga, Claudomilson FernandesThe environmental crisis, particularly the advance of deforestation and wildfires in Brazil, with a focus on the Amazon, has been widely covered in the press in recent years. Due to this environmental collapse occurring in Brazil and around the world, this research aims to analyze the production of meaning by employees of an industry that has sustainability as a corporate pillar, based on their reception of media coverage about the Amazon wildfires and environmental preservation. The study's objective is to analyze how the employees of Vasap Design perceive and reinterpret the topic based on content presented by the program Fantástico on Rede Globo. The theoretical framework of the work is based on Reception Studies and the concepts of Mediatization, Citizenship, and Environmental Journalism, with the main cited authors being J.B. Thompson, José Luiz Braga, Wilson Bueno, Jesús Martín-Barbero, Maria Immacolata Vassalo de Lopes, and Nilda Jacks. A multi-methodological study was chosen through reception analysis in a case study, using focus groups as the data collection technique. This method allows the researcher to combine in-depth interviews with participant observation, techniques widely used in qualitative research like this one. Thus, it was understood that although the environmental issue is a global and broad topic, it makes sense for this study to focus on a local context. For this reason, the research was directed toward a case study in the workplace, focusing on the daily experiences of employees and their lives in a company that positions itself as environmentally responsible. This choice allowed for observing how subjectivities, both individual and collective, are formed based on the reception of information by the media and work as a mediating factor. Therefore, the hypothesis underlying this study is that the professional environment acts as an important mediator in how individuals receive and process media messages. For the systematization and analysis of data, it was understood that the most suitable technique for this research is Content Analysis, as proposed by Laurence Bardin, which was carried out in two stages. The first stage involved categorizing and analyzing the environmental coverage of the program Fantástico from 2018 to 2021, so that, through this initial analysis, the reports discussed in the focus groups could be defined. Then, Content Analysis was used again to categorize and infer the reflections raised in the discussion groups. From these reflections, it was possible to identify that the environmental theme permeates the discussions among Vasap Design employees, especially in the workplace, which means that when they watch the presented reports, they already have some affinity with issues such as the Amazon wildfires and the environmental crisis. It was also observed that although the reports used as the research corpus presented relevant and complete information about the environmental collapse that Brazil is facing, the central focus was on the consequences of wildfires and deforestation. The causes and, especially, the solutions were subtly addressed, which contributed to the employees' understanding of the catastrophic scenario of the wildfires in Brazil, but did not enhance their perception of how society and each individual contribute to the problem and also to its mitigation. Thus, the research leads to the understanding of the media as an important tool for promoting citizenship, especially when combined with other forms of mediation that enable dialogue on environmental issues.Item Uma abordagem coevolucionária para seleção de casos de teste e programas mutantes no contexto do teste de mutação(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-12-05) Oliveira, André Assis Lôbo de; Camilo Junior, Celso Gonçalves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6776569904919279; Maldonado, José Carlos; Vincenzi, Auri Marcelo RizzoVerification and Validation Activities (V&V) consume about 50% to 60% of the total cost of a software lifecycle. Among those activities, Software Testing technique is one which is mostly used during this process. One of the main problems related to detected in Software Testing is to find a set of tests (subset from input domain of the problem) which is effective to detect the remaining bugs in the software. The Search-Based Software Testing (SBST) approach uses metaheuristics to find low cost set of tests with a high effectiveness to detect bugs. From several existing test criteria, Mutation Testing is considered quite promising to reveal bugs, despite its high computational cost, due to the great quantity of mutant programs generated. Therefore, this dissertation addresses the problem of selecting mutant programs and test cases in Mutation Testing context. To this end, it is proposed a Coevolutionary Genetic Algorithm (CGA) and the concept of Genetic Effectiveness, implemented by Genetic Classification (GC) and new genetic operators adapted to the proposed representation. Furthermore, the Genetic Algorithm Coevolutionary with Controlled Genetic Classification (CGACGCop) is proposed for improving the efficiency of CGA’s GC. The CGA is applied in three categories of benchmarks and compared to other five methods. The results show a better performance of the CGA in subsets selection with better mutation score, as well as improvement of CGACGCop in use of GC. These results evidence the proposal approach with promising use in the context of Mutation Testing.Item Ação cultural com mídias sociais: análise do Facebook da Biblioteca de São Paulo(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-12-14) Nascimento, Vanessa Guimarães do; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9315618025567235; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Baptista, Dulce Maria; Gomes, Suely Henrique de AquinoConsidering the current scenario of communication that includes the increasingly use of social media, it is possible to identify new ways of connection between people and institutions to the extent that the use of these tools provides changes and the emergence of several activities in its intercommunication environment. In the context of libraries, these resources can become allies to create new forms of contact with users and the development of services and products from the sharing of information directly on these platforms. In this matter, this research has as general objective to investigate, through a case study, the use of Facebook by the São Paulo Library promoting Cultural Programs. It is believed that this activity is inherent to the social role of public libraries and that has the potential to be developed in this social media. Therefore, the research problem focused on the following question: in which way does São Paulo Library promote Cultural Programs for the community by its Facebook posts? To answer this question, it was made a theoretical discussion about the concept of Cultural Program proposed by the authors Milanesi (2002;2003), Barros (2010), Cunha (2010), Flusser (1983) and Coelho (1989) following the methodologycal procedures: a bibliographic survey about the use of social media by Brazilian public libraries, regarding Cultural Programs in public libraries and also regarding Cultural Programs in social media. Following, the analysis method proposed by Bardin (1977) was employed to verify in which way a library promotes Cultural Programs on fanpage posts. At last, a mindful analysis was made about the results found, resuming the theoretical background of the research and the literature review. The results indicate that the São Paulo Library is effective in relation to the offer of Cultural Program activities in its physical space, but this does not expand to the intercommunication environment of Facebook, because this social media is most used aiming advertising of the library programming than to promote public engagement in Cultural Programs directly on the platform.Item Ações culturais no processo comunicativo das pessoas com síndrome de Down(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-12-23) Faria, Keyla Rosa de; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9315618025567235; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Valério, Erinaldo Dias; Dalla Déa, Vanessa Helena SantanaDiscusses the process of communicational interaction of people with Down Syndrome through photography. It is noticed that the field of Communication Science lacks discussions on the communication of people with intellectual disabilities. Therefore, we used action research, with a qualitative approach to answer the following problem: How is the communicative process through photography with young people with Down Syndrome? The documentary research was used to survey the historical process of construction of the Down Association of Goiás, as well as the online collection of the Presidency on legal frameworks in inclusion policies. The first action developed within the Down Association of Goiás, in the city of Goiânia, was the implementation of a Library within the physical space of the institution, and from this cultural equipment prepared the I and II Photography Workshop, with the participation of children, young people and adults with Down Syndrome, and people from the community without disabilities. The I Photography Workshop sample consisted of 6 photographs of two Young People with Down Syndrome who participated in the Photography Workshop, in addition to the selection of six four-page photographs from the virtual social networks - Fanpage Downeat; @downsyndromeinternational; @institutomanodown; @downlicia_oficial - The pages belong to associations of people with Down syndrome and a young Down's personal profiles. For the II Workshop the sample corresponds to all 14 young people with Down syndrome who participated. The choice of images was based on Barthes's punctum principle (1998) and for data analysis employed the similarity theory as Didi- Huberman (2011). The approximation of the images occurred through the construction of the Mnemosine Atlas. The results demonstrated that despite the subjectivity expressed in the gestures, the disposition of the photographs of the young people with Down Syndrome revealed the ability to communicate through gestures and poses. And this fact was reaffirmed in the second workshop, where the young people with Down syndrome were more emphatic about their tastes and preferences, which is considered a form of communication, since in expressing themselves opinion and thought reflexive-critical. The II Photography Workshop enabled the elaboration of the autobiographical book, that is, the participants wrote their history through photographs. It was concluded that the results were positive, some of the participants have difficulty expressing themselves verbally, and photography was a way of communicating with the world, especially with the construction of the autobiographical book. Another relevant factor in the research was the social impact, regarding the implementation of the library and the cultural actions promoted by this cultural equipment, people with down syndrome, mothers and family members enjoy a space that provides access to culture and the environment. leisure, thus contributing to the growth and visibility of the Goiás Down Association.Item Álbum de família nos perfis criados para filhos(as) no instagram: uma encenação em três atos (2018-2019)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-01-20) Alves, Rafael Delfino Rodrigues; Fernandes, Ana Rita Vidica; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9011537191118959; Fernandes, Ana Rita Vidica; Borges, Maria Elizia; Silva, Ademir Luiz daThis research aims to put the family album under discussion from the perspective of staging. Instagram is the media chosen to materialize this study, based on profiles of babies created by their mothers and fathers in this social media. First, the job is dedicated to presenting how the family album is constituted in its printed form, later on digitally and now as digital online. Theoretically, the relationship between media, communication and culture is presented, to discuss: the communicational processes of photography, specifically the family portrait; the different media that involve the production and placement of a photograph (primary, secondary and tertiary) and; the cultural habits associated with photographic staging (presented in three acts - body, photography and Instagram). To apply this theory, a universe of twenty Instagram profiles, online digital albums of babies, are selected, observed and cross-linked for a first understanding of this phenomenon in the years 2018 and 2019. In a second stage, six profiles of these twenty are selected so that their managers could be interviewed in depth to understand the acts of staging themselves in three acts: first act (primary media) staging the body; second act (secondary media) staging in photography; third act (tertiary media) the staging of Instagram and; the extra act (particularities) of each profile. Thus, the images are not analyzed only in themselves, since texts and speeches of their own creators are associated. As a conclusive guideline, it is expected to understand how the photographic staging survives and creates new layers of meaning for the family portrait, adding thickness to a culture of the image that is carried out in three acts on Instagram.Item Análise da produção de artigos científicos de pesquisadores das áreas de Ciência da Informação e Comunicação na base de dados Scopus: subsídios para a compreensão da interdisciplinaridade(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-03-06) Jesus, Filipe Reis Dias de; Maricato, João de Melo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3991129099537472; Maricato, João de Melo; Gomes, Suely Henrique de Aquino; Vilan Filho, Jayme LeiroIt aims to identify, analyze and understand the interdisciplinary relationships between Communication Science and Information Science through its scientific production. Specifically: to seek the foundations in the literature on science, to understand the forms of knowledge, the conceptualization of the word "science" and to present the perspective of the complexity of science based on Edgar Morin; It also presents the ethos of science and the modes of production of scientific knowledge; Performs a bibliographic review on relations between disciplines, focusing on interdisciplinarity; Reflects on the potential of the use of bibliometric and scientometric methods to study interdisciplinary relationships between sciences; Identifies in the literature of the area of Communication Science and Information Science the discourses on interdisciplinarity in order to propose categories of analysis and to understand possibilities of joint action; Identifies relations between Communication Science and Information Science through the analysis of international scientific production, providing a global view of interdisciplinarity in the areas. This research, of a basic nature, will approach the theme qualitatively and quantitatively, being characterized as exploratory and descriptive. Bibliometric and scientometric methods were used to identify relations between the Science of Communication and the Science of Information. A search strategy was carried out at the Scopus database, in which 438 articles from authors affiliated to the communication and information institutions were identified. From these articles the communication and information faculties and other areas in which the authors of these areas published jointly (co-authorship) were extracted from these articles. It was possible to propose categories of interdisciplinary analysis in order to understand the relations between the CC and CI fields. In addition, we identified the interdisciplinary relations of the areas of communication and information through the subjects and methodologies of the corpus articles of this research. The areas most related to the Sciences of Communication and Information are: education and librarianship. Finally, this research points out potential uses of bibliometric and scientometric methods for the study of interdisciplinary relationships between sciences.Item Antivacinação, redes sociais e desinformação: uma análise em um grupo do Facebook através da mineração de dados(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-02-04) Vieira, Larissa Machado; Cordeiro, Douglas Farias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5269312530540199; Guimarães , Núbia Rosa da Silva; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Cordeiro, Douglas FariasThe theme of misinformation about vaccines propagated on virtual social networks will be explored, which can cause losses for the success of the population’s immunization coverage. Within this proposal, aiming to analyze the most frequently reported subthemes in the group and what they reveal about the controversies surrounding vaccines, data were collected from an anti-vaccine group active on Facebook using data mining techniques, making it possible to obtain the most relevant themes. spoken in that space between the years 2015 and 2019. Some patterns were found, revealing, in addition to other issues in circulation, two important subthemes present in the group: first, terms showing that anti-vaccination is a subject closely linked to family relationships, as well as the recurrence of the words "measles" and "autism" was discovered, a situation that may lead to an existing controversy surrounding the triple viral vaccine, motivated by a lack of information fostered since the late 1990s.Item Apanhando duas vezes: aspectos relacionados à cidadania das mulheres vítimas de violência nos telejornais locais(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-07-01) Lima, Fernanda Ribeiro de; Temer, Ana Carolina Rocha Pessôa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2424054335258827; Temer, Ana Carolina Rocha Pessôa; Silva, Magno Luiz Medeiros da; Porcello, Flávio Antônio CamargoThis research is centered on the intersection of journalism , violence and female citizenship to understand the coexistence of achievements and prejudgement in the universe of goianiense woman , pictured by local journalistic media. For this, this study tried to understand how women involved in situations of violence, as victims or aggressors are shown on the TV news, usually considered a mirror of society. Justifies the importance of this study because prior to the appearance of the vehicles of mass communication, the individual built its knowledge and, consequently, yours opinion, through the experiences lived, in a real way, in institutions such as family, church or school. The capitalist routine imposed on men and women of different ages and socioeconomic classes a routine punctuated of appointments, which significantly decreased interpersonal contact. At the same time, the media, driven by technology, became omnipresent, imposing concepts and prejudgements.Item A aplicação dos princípios da comunicação pública e sua relação com a cidadania nas instituições públicas de ensino superior de Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-04-29) Justino, Stephanie Silva; Oliveira, Tiago Mainieri de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4332108741473825; Oliveira, Tiago Mainieri de; Del Bianco, Nélia Rodrigues; Curvello, João José AzevedoThis research aimed to understand if the principles and characteristics of public communication are applied by communication professionals in public higher education institutions in the state of Goiás. The locus of analysis of the research were the communication sectors of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Goian Technology (IF Goiano), Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goiás (IFG), State University of Goiás (UEG) and Federal University of Goiás (UFG). In order to analyze the application of these principles, the study contextualized the origin of higher education institutions in Brazil in order to understand the organizational culture of these institutions and the challenges that exist for the actions and communication practices in these spaces. Then, the bibliographical review of the concepts of citizenship and public communication was carried out and the relationship between higher education, the conquest of citizenship rights and the contribution of the public institution of higher education communication actions were strengthened in order to bring these institutions closer to the society and for the promotion of citizenship. Based on the principles of Public Administration established in the Constitution of theFederative Republic of Brazil of 1988 (CRFB), the pre-requisites and principles listed by Jorge Duarte (2011) and Zémor (2009) synthesized There are seven aspects of public communication that guided the analysis of the research: Public interest as a focus and priority; Information deciphered and widely disseminated; Transparency, oversight and accountability; Egalitarian dialogue; Ethics and responsibility; Encouraging participation and Shared management. To collect the research data, we used the methodological approach of triangulation. The triangulated data were collected through five different instruments and research techniques. The first was the documentary analysis of the specific and general communication policies of institution of higher education. The second was the application of a questionnaire with 27 questions sent by e-mail to 107 communication professionals. The third was the direct observation, carried out for 10 days in the communication sectors in the rectories of IF Goiano, IFG, UEG and UFG. In addition to the observation, in-depth interviews were conducted with the communication managers of the four institutions. Finally, we analyzed the content of the posts made during the days of observation in the institutional sites and in the official profile of the institutions in Instagram. The data collected in the research were analyzed in four different dimensions. The first dimension is related to the knowledge of the principles of public communication by professionals. The second refers to the motivation of professionals to apply these principles. The third analyzes the impediments found for the application of the principles. The fourth and last one verifies, in the professional performance, when the principles are or are not practiced. As a result of the research, it was found that most professionals know the concept of public communication, but not the principles and characteristics that are often mixed and confused with institutional communication. Regarding motivation, even those who do not know the principles, are interested in making actions and communication products and that dialogue with the community. Some professionals have shown lack of motivation due to the number of impediments they encounter in order to implement improvements, especially in relation to organizational culture, management vision, bureaucracy and lack of financial, human and material resources. Although not fully applied, the principles of public communication are observed in actions and practices of the communication sectors of the four institution of higher education in the state of Goiás.Item A arte de transformar palavras em imagens: um estudo sobre a adaptação do romance A Muralha para televisão(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2011-04-19) FERREIRA, Murilo Luiz; SANTOS, Goiamérico Felício Carneiro dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4360025460772301To tell stories is part of the essence of human beings. Since our earliest ancestors we have been involved by several narratives - oral, written or broadcasted. With the changes raised by the Gutenberg Galaxy, narratives gained more visibility in the art of storytelling, especially in literature. Since the 1950's that television is replacing printed texts, using audio and image together to further engage human beings in the real and fictional narratives. And this thesis is based on the search of elements of approximation and divergence between literature and television, having as object of study the novel written by Dinah Silveira de Queiroz, A Muralha, originally published in 1954, and the homonymous adaptation as a television series produced by TV Globo in 2000. The methodology includes the analysis of the relationships between literary and television studies by the perspective of cultural studies and cultural media, focusing particularly on the features of each of these media, looking for theoretical backgrounds that support the hypothesis of this research. As narrative is the main concern of this thesis, theories and analysis of focalization, space, time and characters became extremely important, as well the reflections about the three perspectives of adaptation and the four adaptive processes, which are: addition, reduction, displacement and transformation. This study lead us to conclude that as much as literature and television give evidences to prove the uniqueness of each of these artistic expressions, they contain similar and important elements that support the art of turning words into images.Item Arte y comunicação: in(fluxos) de uma poética de (re)xistência em Tatiana Nascimento(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-23) Albuquerque, Juliana Cristina Barbosa; Santos, Goiamérico Felício Carneiro dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4360025460772301; Santos, Goiamérico Felício Carneiro dos; Borges, Rosana Maria Ribeiro; Ribeiro, Ana Elisa FerreiraIn this study we investigate the cultural plots that influence and affect the convergence relations between Art and Communication. Through a research of Cartographic approach to Cultural Studies, it is proposed to analyze the communicational and affective structures present in the poetic production of the artist tatiana nascimento, founder of padê editorial. Theoretically, we trace the relationships between cyberspace and technopoetics that unfold the creation, production and diffusion of the artist's poetics, these spaces were fundamental to the convergence process that the artist's poetics assumes. The relevance of printed books categorizes the potency of (re)existence of this art; while the creation and diffusion in digital media demarcate performance as a primordial act of the artist's aesthetics. To apply this theory, we developed the following methodological steps: (I) documentary research (cartographic becoming in black culture, afro-brazilian literature, poetry written by afro-brazilian women, survey of publishers that publish black authors, mapping of afrobrazilian poets published, and extensive research by the editorial padê). (II) In-depth interview with tatiana nascimento (2019) and (III) final presentation of the cartographic act and analysis of the data collected and presented. In a rhizomatic path that follows the flows constructed through a social cartography in the ways of MartínBarbero (2004), which is established as a theoreticalmethodological perspective stitching aspects of data collection, systematization and research analysis. Aiming to understand the importance of the communicational processes mediated by cultural relations, the poetics of the padê editorial and tatiana nascimento, punctuating the demarcation of affection towards the sensitive universe of poetry, engendering visions of intersectionality, social movements and representativeness signed in processes of identity construction and representation of black culture. As a conclusive way, we hope to understand how the convergence between Arte and Comunicação enabled Tatiana Nascimento's poetics to be configured as a new mediation.Item As bibliotecas e as mídias sociais: o uso do Facebook pelas bibliotecas das universidades federais brasileiras(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-06-25) Peixoto, Suzane Gonçalves Duarte; Santos, Andrea Pereira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9315618025567235; Santos, Andrea Pereira dos; Martins, Dalton Lopes; Elias Junior, Alberto CalilWith the advent of Information and Communication Technologies new conceptions, new practices and new requirements have emerged. Communication became understood as a field of exchange and interaction and no longer as a linear process, in which the sender has supremacy over the passive receiver. It also occurred to the disjunction between space and time, which contributed to the expansion of the fields of communication exchanges. Communicative practices ceased to be carried out only face-to-face and in the same space of time, to happen also in cyberspace through computer networks. Communication now occurs mainly through the internet and social media as internet sites that allow users greater possibility of interaction and participation. They are presented as important resources to increase communication between university libraries and users. Thus, the general objective is to identify the uses of Facebook by the libraries of the Brazilian Federal Universities in their communicative practices. And as specific objectives: to identify the libraries of the Brazilian Federal Universities; identify which of these university libraries make use of social media; analyze the content of the publications made by them on Facebook and identify for what purposes the libraries of Brazilian federal universities use Facebook. According to these objectives this research is classified as descriptive - exploratory and from the point of view of the problem approach is characterized as quali-quanti. This research was structured in four stages. The first stage consisted in the collection of information about the libraries of the Brazilian federal universities and the definition of the sample. The second step was to identify the use of social media by libraries. The third step involved in collecting data on the pages of the libraries on Facebook. The fourth step consisted in the content analysis of the publications carried out by the libraries of the Brazilian federal universities on Facebook. The survey showed that there are 655 university libraries (central and sectoral) spread throughout Brazil, present in all Brazilian Federal Universities. It was verified that of this total only 48.2% of the libraries use some type of social media, being Facebook, Twitter and Blog the most used by them. From the analysis of content of the publications it was identified that the libraries use their pages in Facebook, mainly, to talk about its products and services offered. Given the results and based on the theoretical reference, it is noticed that the libraries of Brazilian federal universities have incorporated social media into their communicative practices, but this still occurs in an unplanned way in most of them. In addition, they have attitudes that do not contribute to 2.0 libraries.Item As doceiras e sua prática cultural da Cidade de Goiás: compreensão do corpo como mídia pela construção de fotobiografias(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-11-29) Rocha, Ana Terra Curado da; Ramos, Gabriel Teixeira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3960315315900636; Fernandes, Ana Rita Vidica; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9011537191118959; Fernandes, Ana Rita Vidica; Dias, Luciene de Oliveira; Ramos, Gabriel Teixeira; Martins, Alice FátimaThis research goes through the life stories of four bakers in the city of Goiás, Silvia da Silva Curado, Divina Gonçalves Assunção, Eliana Aparecida Martins de Paula e Taynara Raimundo Martins, in order to build Photobiographies and understand their bodies as media, which takes place from three levels. The primary media is the body of each of the bakers. The secondary media consists of photographs from the personal collections of each baker, the photographs taken by the master's student during the interviews and speeches of the bakers. The tertiary media is composed of are the Photobiographies, assembled through a listening process that involves a mixture of speeches and photographs of each of the bakers. The understanding was about that they exist beyond sweets, but that the sweet culture is part of their existence. They communicate the sweet knowledge and experience their practices, thus having a generational transfer of knowledge, which does not necessarily happen in a traditional way, with changes in recipes along these life trajectories.Item Aspectos midiáticos e culturais do estilo cinematográfico: a mise en scène na obra de Paul Thomas Anderson(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-02-19) Rabelo, Thiago da Silva; Borges, Rosana Maria Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8386191325702205; Abreu, Carla Luzia de; Oliveira, Rodrigo Cássio; Carreiro, Rodrigo Octávio D'AzevedoThe research has as its theme the midiatic and cultural aspects of film style in north american fictional cinema. The corpus is composed of two feature films directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, from which the intention is to understand mise en scène choices as formal resources influenced not only by what is rational in filmic experience, but also by the constant affective dynamics maintained between public and film. From the investigations of King (2005) and Biskind (2004) on independent American production of the 1990s, the main objective is to analyze how the director builds the mise en scène in his films in order to reveal emotional qualities to the audience, creating formal disruptions that put him on the fringes of his country's mainstream production. In this sense, the study will explore singularities that, according to Bordwell (2013), Oliveira Jr. (2013) and Aumont (2006), justify a possible opposition to the classical conventions, whether narrative or formal, established by Hollywood. For this, an in-depth analysis of Anderson's stylistic choices is performed based on the movies There Will Be Blood (2007) and Phantom Thread (2017), showing, based on the analysis of the obtained data, patterns and variations relevant to the comprehension of Anderson’s way of staging. Therefore, it is a qualitative approach research that will adopt as a method the neoformalist film analysis described by Thompson (1988). As a result, the research found that in both films Anderson is more interested in the psychological and emotional development of his characters, as well as in the relationship between them, than in narrative structures based on constant twists.Item Associações sociotécnicas: mediações algorítmicas e a economia das ações no Facebook(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-04-02) Moura, Carolina Silva de; Gomes, Suely Henrique de Aquino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3007925506666700; Alzamora, Geane Carvalho; Martins, Dalton LopesThe project seeks to map the economy mediated by the association between the algorithms and the user on Facebook turning to the commercial pages.Economics keep a direct relationship with the processes of collecting, storing and articulating data favoring a personalization of content. The first part presents the project regarding the problem, objectives and your relevance. The second delivery of conceptual discussion about algorithms, their developments, research perspectives and which ones are sought in this analysis. The third one deals with the Theory-Actor Network, a theoretical proposal for research to consider symmetrical human and non-human highlightly Latour (1994a, 2012). Therefore, we explore ways of implementing empirical research based on the development of cartography (VENTURINNI, 2010; BARROS, KASTRUP, 2009; ROMAGNOLI, 2009; PRADO FILHO, TETI, 2013). Taking this as a reference, the empirical exercise was carried out from the profile of the researcher on Facebook for a month was observed on based on the selection of some internal and external variables about platform. The following reading exposes the data observed in this analysis that point to an economy based on the circulation of segmented contents based on the actions of the user, in which the user's action deals of algorithm transactions that reverberate is not that it is not News Feed and so the user also carries out their translations in a network that is made and remade in a constant way.Item Audio 3D e o corpo plugado: uma análise sobre imersão sonora na série Stranger Things(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-03-21) Costa, Bruna Rafaella Almeida da; Borges, Rosana Maria Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8386191325702205; Borges, Rosana Maria Ribeiro; Sousa, Li-Chang Shuen Cristina Silva; Jordão, Janaina Vieira de Paula; Santos, Alexandre Tadeu dosThe work presented here is about a study of 3D audio technology within the context of cyberspace, a type of sound experience that provides immersion of the user. Of all the possibilities and field of study, a serial narrative on the web was chosen for the investigation, particularly the Stranger Things Series. It consists of, from a Case Study to understand how this immersion becomes expressive possibility within the serial narrative. Concepts about convergence, narrative and binaural audio were approached to better understand this field of research. We worked with the cultural transformation from the emergence of the internet and through this way realize how Virtual Reality (VR) influences the human body based on the studies of Santaella (2003). The narrative was approached within its structure with emphasis on Todorov's studies (2016) and the elements that composes sound in an audiovisual product through Chion (2011) and Rodriguez (2006). There was a content analysis and analysis of a series of strange things, from a site in the series Stranger Things, which highlights: Sound with a Transmedia and Sound as a Narrative of Body Extension. thus demonstrating a reconfiguration of serial products in cyberspace through sound immersion. Item Os bastidores da notícia de ciência: levantamento do comportamento informacional de jornalistas em Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-08-27) Barros Junior, Roldão Alves de; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9315618025567235; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Moraes, Ângela Teixeira De; Valério, Erinaldo DiasThis dissertation presents the survey of the Information Behavior of journalists working on online media in Goiânia, capital of the State of Goiás, in the composition of news, reports, articles and other journalistic products related to science, which is here delimited as scientific research. We bring the path that guides the study from the indication of the methodological design adopted, the detailed description of the research problem and its justification, a presentation and explanation of the survey produced and its results linked to the literature already inserted on the subject. A literature review on journalists' Human Information Behaviour studies is also made from studies corrected in national and international databases, in addition to deepening the definition of the concept of Human Information Behavior from the general theory systematized by Wilson (2016) besides with the Kuhlthau Uncertainty Principle (2004). The survey results indicate, among other things, that factors such as professional seniority and work environment influence the behavior of journalists in the search, research, use, validation and sharing of information about science. It was also identified that professionals have both active and passive behavior in the search and management of information. Lastly, the author claims that scientific institutions and researchers design referral mechanisms with local journalists and that reflection on Human Information Behaviour reaches the curriculum of Journalism courses in the country, making future generations of professionals have greater capacity for success in the dissemination of scientific information with quality and safety, without losing sight of the ability to communicate in an accessible language, a characteristic of Journalism - and an advantage of it - that seeks popular adhesion.
