Item Ação coletiva e movimento GLBT em Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2008-12-08) URANY, Alírio Melo; NUNES, Jordão Horta; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0257540968113535This paper conducts an investigation of the collective action organized by the LGBT movement in Goiania, seeking to demystify the character of uniqueness attributed to it, giving rise to the development of an interpretive framework capable of perceiving the plurality of actors and logics of action. I use Bourdieu's concept of habitus to view the process of aggregation of individuals, as well as the formation of homosexual identities positioned in a relationship of rulers and ruled in a heteronormative hegemonic social order. But how to systematize the LGBT movement in Goiania seeks to promote the struggle for positive recognition, is to present a breakdown of its social power into internal, semi-external and external. This allows you to view a schematic circuit energies of formation of networks of solidarity, used to maintain the cohesion of the social force within the field of LGBT activism. It is also evident that the agents are not in harmony, since that produce new hierarchies within the field of activism LGBT, but also tend to control the voltages to allow the maintenance and expansion of the field.Item Accountability e formulação de políticas públicas via web(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2012-09-25) Freitas, Marisleily Rodrigues de; Bezerra, Heloisa Dias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5901954357328179; Bezerra, Heloisa Dias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5901954357328179; Castro, Cosette Espindola de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6638569357514374; Santander Joo, Carlos Ugo; Endereço para acessar este CV: http://lattes.cnpq.br/8838030644558019With the advent of the twentieth century, the world was faced with an intense transformation in the means of mass communication. The new forms of communication quickly dominated the world scene because they can cover a much more significant number of people, besides they transmit a much larger amount of information in less time. Thus, new possibilities have emerged to bridge the gap between government and voters. However, the media are not impartial when it comes to political debate. The commercial media are still the main sources of information and entertainment. From this perspective, the Internet as alternative media means such as printed newspapers, radio and TV could be a significant instrument for the formation of citizens politically participatory and be an affordable way to obtain political information.Item Ações afirmativas para pessoas negras nos concursos públicos para TAEs do IFMT: possibilidades e limites da Lei n.º 12.990/2014(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-08-25) Santos, Lirian Keli dos; Almeida Neto, Luiz Mello de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1951913717385648; Almeida Neto, Luiz Mello de; Vilasboas, Jaqueline Pereira de Oliveira; Guimarães, Maristela AbadiaThe present study aimed to analyze the possibilities and limits of the affirmative action policy, based on racial criteria, implemented by Law n.º 12,990, of June 9, 2014, at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Mato Grosso (IFMT), for the position of Educational Administrative Technician (TAE), in the period from June 9, 2014, date of approval of the law, to December 31, 2022. we opted for a case study and a methodology that is in the field of qualitative and quantitative research due to the need to apprehend the subjectivity that exists in social relations. Since these are intertwined with existing values and rules in their social organization, through documental analysis and bibliographical research. The information was collected in the tender selection system (WEB Selection), made available by the IFMT on its online page. As well as on the website www.concursos.ufmt.br of the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), an institution that examines some IFMT competitions. Laws, Decrees and Resolutions were also consulted, which support the legitimacy of the vacancy reservation process adopted by the institution. When carrying out the research, the data were organized and grouped into different categories, later, we carried out analyzes on the number of black candidates approved to fill the racial quotas in comparison to the number of people summoned for the broad competition to understand the limits and shortcomings of the Quota Law for TAEs within the scope of the IFMT. The results show that the IFMT used devices contained in the selection notices to prevent the creation of vacancies reserved for black people, specifically those with greater prestige and remuneration. In this way, the implementation of Law 12.990/2014, with the main purpose of promoting inclusion and equal opportunities for black people, was compromised.Item Adolescente em conflito com a lei: uma análise do direito à ampla defesa em Goiânia/Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-08-31) Borges, Lélia Moreira; Durães, Telma Ferreira do Nascimento; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6386493067782696; Durães, Telma Ferreira do Nascimento; Bonesso, Márcio; Oliveira, Dijaci David deThis dissertation had as its objective verify whether the adolescents submitted to the institutionalization measures in Goiânia, Goiás – Brazil, were guaranteed their right to the adversarial principle and full defense in their trials. The empirical field of this investigation consisted of the analysis of cases filed between the periods of 2014 to 2016, and the observation of hearings carried out in the infractions court of Child and Youth Court of Goiânia, GO and interviews with public defenders. The Federal Constitution of 1988, the Child and Adolescent Statute, Criminal Code, Criminal Procedure and Civil Procedure Codes were used as the main legal references for this study. As theoretical support, Emílio G. Mendez, Pierre Bourdieu and Loïc Wacquant were also used. These references were useful in the understanding of the infraction persecution dynamics operationalized by the security and justice system of the State. As well as that, the understanding of the socio-juridical paradigm in force at each moment of history that justified the penalization of children and adolescents; the concept of field as a social space in competition, subject to internal disputes hierarchically established by the monopoly of the significance of such space, and the intensification of punitive actions by the State allow the perception of the permanence of the irregular situation paradigm in the professionals’ performances and judicial decisions. Decisions marked by inequality between institutions that operate in the juvenile criminal justice system, facing the recent entry of the public defense counsel, not yet totally structured, in the game of signification and legitimation of a trial that is preponderantly inquisitive. It brings loss to the exercise of full defense of the adolescents accused of acts of infraction. Evidence of a mismatch is noticed between the advances in the children’s and adolescents’ acquisition of rights and guarantees and the criminal control operationalized by the juvenile criminal justice system of Goiânia / GO.Item Análise psicodinâmica do trabalho docente na rede pública estadual(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-02-26) Souza, Vanessa Alexandre de; Freitas, Revalino Antonio de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8705661441925211; Freitas, Revalino Antonio de; Rêses, Erlando da Silva; Santos, Cleito Pereira dosThis research aims to conduct a study on the health of the teaching work. We seek to understand the relationships that can be established between the organization of work and psychological distress. To reveal certain sufferings which actually have been neglected so far in studies on work, we try to analyze what, in their confrontation with the worker task, endangers their mental life and, above all, the experience of workers in relation to in relation to health and disease. It is studying the cases of teaching workers who were taken to the absenteeism (license or abandonment of the work). The contributions of the Christophe Dejours about the analysis of the pleasure, suffering and work, the psychological and social processes that affect on individuals and organizations are guiding this study. From the research and ideas of Christophe Dejours constitutes a branch of research, the psychodynamics of work. Teaching work became major concentration points of pressure on the worker. Besides his teaching duties, teachers should worry about your career, your security and your salary. Are overworked professionals who have little time to invest in their training and professional achievement. The absenteeism rates are increasing and that the imbalance caused by the organization of work has on the health of workers. We conducted semi-structured interviews with teachers of basic education. Our fieldwork was conducted in two public schools in Goiania. Collect narratives about the practice of teaching activity. The analysis of the narrative was drawn from the concepts of psychodynamic workItem Aposentadoria: o novo começo, expectativa e realidade. Uma análise com servidores técnicos-administrativos da UFG(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-10-10) Alves, Fleide Wilian Rodrigues; Freitas, Revalino Antônio de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8705661441925211; Freitas, Revalino Antônio de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8705661441925211; Santos, Cleito Pereira dos; Previtali, Fabiane SantanaThe work brings attached to itself a number of social protection mechanisms achieved by workers over the last two centuries. One of the most important is retirement, usually linked to aging, it presents as a social statute and a life transition that allocates the active worker erstwhile in the list of removed from the world of work. Of great importance in the personal and social context, this passage is a divider in the existence of workers, which has been enjoying retirement for more time due to increased life expectancy. This research aimed at understanding social aspects that permeate the retirement process of the Administrative Technical Education of Federal University of Goiás, in the period between his eminence and its recent acquisition.Regarding the worker about to retire, there was a discussion about the reasons that weighed in his decision, what are your expectations and plans for the future. After retirement, he was investigated as the worker just out of the labor market deals with your free time, if your plans and expectations have been met and as reestabelecem their family ties with their return home. Research has shown that the investigated statutory enjoy better quality of life when they are at work and in retirement, compared to CLT workers with the same training and educational level. This finding was justified by their income be higher, the job security and the possibility of coexistence of working times, and social times in their workplaces during the activity.Item Arqueogenealogia das interdições, separações e segregações de sexo/gênero nos esportes: o jogo discursivo sobre as mulheres(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-12-07) Passos, Adriano Martins Rodrigues dos; Gonçalves, Eliane; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7413052054334814; Gonçalves, Eliane; Goellner, Silvana Vilodre; Sousa, Kátia Menezes de; Trejo, Fernando Segura Millan; Nunes, Jordão HortaIn this thesis, I sought to produce an archeogenealogy of the practices of interdiction, separation and segregation of women in sports, especially in artistic gymnastics and athletics, from a historical frame that covered the end of the 18th century and extended until 2018. Basically focused in regimes of truth of the biomedical sciences, gymnastics manuals and methods (physical exercises), etiquette and manners manuals, daily magazines and newspappers. As well as reports, minutes, memoranduns and compendiuns of rules and codes of points from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and of the International Federation of Gymnastics (FIG). These documents were retrieved through the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, Center d’Études Olympiques, International Federation of Gymnastics, Hemeroteca Digital Brasileira and through emails exchanged with IAAF - Archives and Records Management. Through this database, I endeavored to identify, classify and analyze the événements (statements, practices, events, said and unspoken) that emerged, operated and influenced the social situation of women, their bodies and the dynamics of gender ordering in the 19th, 20th and also parts of 21th century, both in Europe and in Brazil. Thinking specifically about sport competitions in Modern Olympic Games, my main purpose was to reveal and analyze the games of power and knowledge in relation to women, their bodies and the uses that they could confer on them in sports. If, in parts, they were achieving greater political power, group authority, leadership and charismatic strength, otherwise, their advances in the sports territory, considered a men’s domain, made appear a range of strategies, practices, organizations, dispositions, adaptations that have had the function of establishing and maintaining a rigid regulatory framework, which is still active today. This security device, supported by average values of what sexed bodies could or could not perform, added to the ethical ideal of equal conditions in women’ competitions and based on sens of values as justice and injustice, has guaranteed the perennity of the gender prohibitions, separations and segregations. All of this, from the sexual bi-categorization of sports, events, equipment, rules, sports clothes, codes of points and mechanisms for social, cultural and economic valuation of women and men athletes. Thus, the thesis problematizes the increase in the participation of women in sports and competitions, based on the submission of their performances, aesthetics and expressions, in the face of a complex, insidious and effective regulatory framework, materialized in the conception that the differentiation by tests, devices, body movements and expressions are “natural” and “necessary”. This conjuncture has justified the implementation of eligibility policies that promises to protect women’ athletes and competitions, through the exclusion and negation of other women athletes, especially black women with intersex variations and women from colonized countries.Item Artesanato: identidade e trabalho(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-08-15) Vieira, Geruza Silva de Oliveira; Nunes, Jordão Horta; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0257540968113535; Nunes, Jordão Horta; Santos, Cleito Pereira dos; Bernardes, Genilda D‟Arc; Vannuchi, Maria Lúcia; Durães, Telma Ferreira NascimentoThe thesis theme discuss in the process and organization of work in handcraft and the construction of the identity process by the workers. It is a research that seeks to show how teaching work has been reconfiguring because of the great transformations of the contemporary world, which had its development since the 1980s. Its main problem is: the contemporary reconfigurations of capitalism, notably the restructuring brought about an increase in the intensification, control and precariousness of the teaching work of the basic education teacher in Brazil in the last thirty years? To answer this problem, we start from the hypothesis that the teaching work has been reconfigured by the changes of contemporary capitalism mentioned here: productive restructuring and neoliberalism. And these phenomena have been forcing workers of all categories, including education, more control, more intensification and more precarious working conditions. Each of these processes brought about profound social, political, and economic changes, so that the education, school, and work of the teacher were not far from these mutations. Theoretical and empirical research can realize that the work of female teachers is increasingly intensified from the physical, intellectual and emotional point of view, due to more work and daily demands. The increased control over his work appears very clearly, in various aspects that imply more vigilance over the teacher in the exercise of his profession. And, finally, the precariousness of working conditions, which persists in reality, wage and working conditions in schools. Although it remains a work that has many specific traits of work on another human being, these processes of rationalization have strongly affected the life of teachers.Item As representações do nacionalismo em Lima Barreto(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-05-11) Souza, Renato Dias de; Viana, Nildo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3744231559402924; Viana, Nildo Silva; Rabelo, Francisco Evangelista Chagas; Marques, Edmilson Ferreira; Vetorassi, Andréa; Golovaty, RicardoIn this work we have as object the representations of nationalism in the literary works of Afonso Henriques de Lima Barreto. It was sought to apprehend them that we consider the relation between literature and society and the theoretical implications of this in what refers to Marxism and art. Still in view of the concrete social relations that involved the writer in the early twentieth century, we finally problematize the interpretations that attribute a defense of nationalism to the Bartian literary representations and their political conception. In this process, we consider fundamental the accumulated knowledge about the Sociology of Literature, in its limits and potentialities, in its different approaches. As well as the possible contributions of literary theory and discourse analysis. In the expectation that the practice of intellectuals and their representations will be better understood, especially those of Lima Barreto. Considering the burning questions that appeared in the Brazilian society of the early twentieth century, which implied the formation of the literary field in the country, and among other elements led this Carioca to the country of Bruzundangas. Identifying, in its revolutionary perspective, a republic characterized by the action of plutocrats, bourgeois and colonels; Of literary mandarins; Of a foreign policy of dependence and favoring of the ruling classes, and finally of an intense fetishism about the titles and the condition of "doctor".This path, we believe, enabled us to problematize the supposed nationalism of Lima Barreto and the various literary representations he had presented especially in Memories of the scribe Isaías Caminha and Sad end of Policarpo Quaresma. Among our main concerns we tried to answer to what extent an anarchist, like him, could be associated for so many years with a supposed nationalist project for Brazil. If so, what are the contradictions between his anarchism in its original manifestations, and the assimilation of a nationalist project by the literary in question? Was this a superficial critic of reality or a radical critic, even challenging the foundations of the society in which he lived? It was from these concerns that we come to join others, that we put ourselves in an investigative process about the barretianas representations of nationalism, of its engagement, with a view to identifying its real political connection. In the end, after going through these steps, we return to our main hypothesis and evaluate its pertinence.Item Os assalariados rurais urbanizados: sobre o fenômeno urbano e os trabalhadores rurais na alta modernidade – Goianésia, Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-05-10) Xavier, Glauber Lopes; Freitas , Revalino Antonio de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8705661441925211; Freitas, Revalino Antonio de; Lima Filho, Manuel Ferreira; Santos, Cleito Pereira dos; Maia, Doralice Sátyro; Stein, Leila de MenezesIn recent years, the conditions of reproduction of labor power and social relations of rural proletarians have undergone substantial transformations, whose cause it is the urban phenomenon that is wrapped in the everyday life of these workers. Ongoing changes have engendered, in turn, a modus vivendi that hitherto had not unprecedented in Brazil, which confirms the emergence of a new category of rural workers, rural workers urbanized. To understand it, however, it is urgent to consider this modus vivendi based on the concept of social space, initiated by the dialectic between instances physical, social and mental arvoradas the city in high modernity. Regarding the social space, the study of rural workers urbanized unveils a reproduction of social relations distinct from that configured the daily life of rural workers of years before this new century. Demarcate this change new ways of acting, feeling and thinking these guys, emerging, so a new relationship between man and space, man-object, as well as among men themselves, develop into new representations and their corollaries. It considers that these changes constitute the high modernity, sometimes called late modernity or post-modernity, which deals with the cultural logic of an advanced stage of development of the productive forces. In this sense, the present study seeks to apprehend the conditions of reproduction of social relations of temporary workers Goianesia, Goiás, from the cultural aspects that allow coining the concept of rural workers urbanized. Indeed, it is understood that cultural issues emerge from the material order of life, so that underpins this study is also in the apprehension of the conditions of reproduction of labor power, which are brought by poor relations and even by labor relations similar to slavery, developments of new terrirorialidades that has been established from new dynamic urban-rural and rural-urban in high modernity. Thus, the thesis in question flies in the filing of a concept to the time it takes out an interpretative effort of the contemporary rural or so called new country, formed by a dynamic space-time which promotes substantial changes in the daily lives of workers. Therefore, the research methodologically sustained on the historical and dialectical materialism, considering that the fabric of reality is established from class conflict and that this real it is a synthesis of multiple determinations. The research was guided also by the procedure methodological regressive-progressive, postulated by Henri Lefebvre, which allows the seizure of the real from the junction between sociology and history, allowing addition of these fields of knowledge, the encounter between geography, anthropology, philosophy, among others.Item Auto-representação de estudantes com deficiência intelectual: a imagem de si na escola pública regular em Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-02-26) Faria, Raclene Ataide de; Rabêlo, Francisco Chagas Evangelista; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3994475259808096; Sofiati, Flávio Munhoz; Souza, Marta Rovery de; Rabelo, DaniloThe 20th century was characterized by triggering debates about human rights and citizenship. The offset of the claims of the macrstructural plan for the identity-oriented for the emergence of new social movements and the mobilization for the rights of persons with disabilities to live in segregated and not discriminatory environments. These mobilizations is the paradigm of inclusive education, subject and object of a few conventions, international agreements, of "review" of the Brazilian educational legislation, the extension of theoretical productions and re/organization of school classes. This process intensified in the second half of the year 1990, has caused significant changes in life and social relations of persons with disabilities, since questions and forge the breakup of dichotomous division between special education and regular education and allows a wider social coexistence. With the goal of realizing the auto representações that adolescents with intellectual disabilities have of themselves, formed a research group with students of cycle III in municipal schools in Goiânia. The choice of the subject of the research is the result of the contradiction that exists between the emergence of inclusive paradigm and the process of gene silencing of people with intellectual disabilities, given the difficulty of their autonomous institutional organization and belittling their ability to formulate opinions and critical analysis. The group consists of twenty people, most of the male students from 11 schools located in various regions of the capital. The data collection instruments were depth interviews, life story fundamentally and analysis of school documents. The main theoretical framework is formed, among others, by Alonso, Berger and Luckmann, Bourdieu, Goffman, Habermas, Mantoan, Mazzotta, Moscovici, Silva, Taylor and Bogdan, also, by official documents about the Brazilian school education and documents drawn from international conventions and agreements on education and the rights of people with intellectual disabilities. The bibliographical research showed that the representations are constructed socially, expressed in the political sphere of discourse-semantic mode, linked to the experiences of social coexistence and sociability of the subjects in the social institutions and historically anchored. Empirical research has shown that the Group of people with intellectual disabilities, regarding the physical characteristics, behavioral, health and personal development, is, in itself, a very heterogeneous group. Despite personal differences, the autorepresentações make explicit a positive self-image of themselves as a student in regular public school in Goiânia; the desire to keep your education process in schools and regular classes; the commitment to present a good social image of itself, taking advantage of postures in/discipline to give visibility to a positive image in relation to its peers; the importance of colleagues, teachers, the conversations and all forms of sociality made possible at school for personal well-being; the appreciation for the school and for the friendships; the posture of victimhood and ambiguous situation not to be in a process where conflicts the various representations about the person with intellectual disabilities, their rights, possibilities and potential.Item Autorrepresentação de pessoas com deficiência intelectual: a concepção sobre a deficiência e os “sonhos” para o futuro(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-06-26) Faria, Raclene Ataide de; Rabelo, Francisco Chagas Evangelista; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3994475259808096; Rabelo, Danilo; Rabelo, Francisco Chagas Evangelista; Freitas, Revalino Antonio de; Glat, Rosana; Durães, Telma Ferreira NascimentoThis research, carried out from a qualitative approach and with data collected through in-depth interviewing, has as its main objective to know the representations that young people with intellectual disabilities (ID) have concerning their disabilities and the aspirations that they have for their personal future. With this intent, ten people with ID were interviewed. They live in various regions of the city of Goiânia/GO, have formal schooling experiences and their ages range from sixteen to thirty-three years old. The theoretical basis is grounded, among others, on American (2010), Berger and Luckmann (2003), Foucault (1995, 2001), Glat (1989), Lobo (2015), Meireles (2014), Moscovici (2007), Pessotti (2012), Silva (1986), Vaginay (2012) and Vygotsky (2012). The bibliographic research revealed that historically people with ID have experienced situations of exclusion, segregation and social silencing. Representations of them, for centuries, have been based on conceptions of supernaturality or subhumanity. The emergence of more dignified social and scientific representations occurred mainly in the second half of the twentieth century. In Brazil, the social effects of such representations, especially in their personal lives, were intensified with the emergence of inclusive education in the late 1990s. Data analysis indicates that awareness of the disability is not generalized; they perceive their singularities, but do not relate them to ID; they explain it, as a rule, through capacities, not difficulties and/or limitations; they experience freedom and interactive possibilities, including virtual ones, similar to those of their age peers; they are happy people; they are aesthetically similar to any young person; they strive to forge a positive social image of themselves; they aspire to have an ordinary life regarding work, money, a quiet life, profession, home and family.Item Auxiliares de atividades educativas do município de Goiânia: trabalho, gênero e educação(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-04-26) Silva, Roseley Campos da; Tosta, Tania Ludmila Dias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8443282796615478; Oliveira, Jaqueline Pereira de; Tosta, Tania Ludmila Dias; Souza, Tatiele Pereira deThe purpose of this study consists of a research on the work and functions of (the) Educational Activities Assistants (AAE) in the Municipal Centers for Early Childhood Education (CMEIs) in the city of Goiânia, seeking to articulate themes such as caring and educating, issues of gender, work and education. The proposal is concerned with placing the tasks of these professionals within the CMEIs and their working relationships, bringing to light the reflexes of the sexual division of labor in the activities in their space of production and reproduction. The objective is to sociologically analyze the work, identity and gender relations of Educational Activities Assistants in the care and education of children in early childhood education institutions in the city of Goiânia. It seeks to answer questions about the conflicts experienced in the professional routine, under precarious working conditions; the concept of caring in early childhood education and its relationship with the sexual division of labor; how educating and caring are related between teachers (es) and Educational Activities Assistants. As a methodological approach, a qualitative perspective is privileged, with the realization of semi-structured interviews with workers (es) Assistants of Educational Activities, in addition to the collection of statistical data from the Municipal Department of Education of the city of Goiânia. The number of interviewees added up to ten AAE professionals, only two of whom are male, Working conditions are very similar, they work six hours a day and it is noticed that there is little difference when considering individual income, all of them are above the level of study determined by law for the occupation of the position. Eight interviewees have complete higher education and the other two have incomplete higher education, and some also have postgraduate degrees in some area of education. It is observed in the speeches the emphasis given to professional responsibility in the exercise of their function, given that they have the recognition of their relevance.Item Banco Palmas: uma abordagem sociológica de sua instituição e seus critérios de liberação de crédito(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-10-27) Carvalho, Daniel dos Santos Simon de; Santos, Cleito Pereira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3370362170279127; Santos, Cleito Pereira dos; Nunes, Jordão Horta; Nunes, Christiane Girard FerreiraThis dissertation deals with a case study on the Palmas Bank, a pioneering exponent of a type of institution called "Community Development Bank." The objective of this work is to advance the discussion of economic sociology, on the matters of microcredit and solidarity economy. Given that the Banco Palmas corresponds to an intersection of these two objects. For this, an analysis is made of both the solidarity economy as microcredit for different interpretations, and how those meaning disputes influence the direction of these two themes. Then a theoretical context of Community Development Banks is done by grouping elements for the construction of a possible "sociology of Community Banks of Development". Lastly, it describes the historical trajectory of Banco Palmas and how this institution is situated and produces agencements in these disputes.Item Berço e destino de estudantes de Taperuaba - Sobral (CE): a luta para “ser alguém na vida”(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-05-31) Mendes, Antonia Aleksandra Braga; Oliveira, Dijaci David de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9145111011143886; Oliveira, Dijaci David de; Tosta, Tânia Ludmila Dias; Vilasboas, Jaqueline Pereira de Oliveira; Pessoa, Jadir de Morais; Santos, Robson dosThe problem of this doctoral research that supports the thesis was intended to know life stories in transformation through school success. The work consists in understanding and highlighting situations and processes that triggered changes in the trajectories of ordinary people. The individuals surveyed were impacted in their life constructions, which made them seize or cultivate opportunities and reach unlikely destinations. I elected for analysis eight interlocutors from the popular classes of Taperuaba, who occupy the double category of student and workers since an early age. Coming from families with low purchasing power, with little or no schooling, they were students from public schools, they managed to reach public higher education, between undergraduate and graduate studies, extrapolating their circumscribed fields of possibilities, contradicting the recurrences of their origins. These achievements put them in the condition of "winners" before their peers. They escaped the conventional trajectories of their ancestors and the common parameters that limit the individuals of their class. I use Bourdieu's concepts of capital (economic, social, cultural and symbolic) and a contemporary reading of habitus brought by Setton (2002). The procedures and methods used to obtain the data took place through individual interviews and application of semi-open questionnaires. The applied methodology was the analysis of the narratives of how the subjects' life histories took place within the macro (national policies) and meso structural (regional policies) context, intertwined with the particular micro realities. As a result, it is possible to affirm having developed the research, that: the historical and material conditions can favor the school and social success. Economic capital and social capital are advantages to achieve success, but they are not always absolute, there are other aspects that can interfere and trigger other results. Public policies for access to schooling (macro aspect), regional and local educational incentive and support initiatives (meso aspect) aligned with family support and the multiple and complex interferences that make up today the socialization of subjects beyond their groups of belonging, they can trigger transformations in the lives of socio- economically disadvantaged individuals. There are some possibilities of drilling and causing cracks in the social system of restricted privileges. I also observed a characteristic of resistance in these subjects as a modus operandi to deal with adversity. In situations of scarcity, family education aimed at the autonomy of individuals provides an important skill: a "coping potential". Some individuals seem more susceptible to embrace the scarce and competitive opportunities for school and professional qualification.Item Campanha pela despatologização da transexualidade no Brasil: seus discursos e suas dinâmicas(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-03-08) Jesús, Bento Manoel de; Gonçalves, Eliane; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7413052054334814; Gonçalves, Eliane; Silva, Larissa Maués Pelúcio; Braz, Camila Albuquerque deInscribed into the arena of knowledge on gender identities, this work is about transsexuality, a subject on which rests many controversies, starting with the use of the terms transsexualism and transsexuality. They are not only different words, but mean different viewpoints and can demarcate opposing perspectives of fields of knowledge regarding transsexual condition, one that defends the diversity of gender identities and one that conceives it as pathology. This research aims to situate the debate about depathologization of transsexuality in Brazil analyzing its discursive fields. On one hand, I try to identify who are the actors involved in the campaign and investigate how they are producing the debate, showing what kinds of mobilizations have been made and what are their main demands. On the other hand, I seek to identify and analyze the knowledge underlying the depathologization speeches and other discourses which are opposed to this perspective. I present and analyze the proposals of the campaign concerning the continuity of health/medical care as well as the maintenance of the rights of transsexuals in a possible depathologization of transsexuality.Item Capital social e redes: uma análise do programa de aquisição de alimentos da agricultura familiar(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-12-12) Santos, Leandro de Lima; Almeida, Luiz Manoel Moraes de Camargo; Ferreira, Denise Paiva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0144446693015854; Ferreira, Denise Paiva; Campos, Francisco Itami; Pietrafesa, Pedro Araújo; Durães, Telma Ferreira do Nascimento; Sartore, Marina de SouzaThis research presents an investigation on how the effects / results of a public policy may be influenced by social capital elements formed by a networks. We begin the dissertation with a chapter dedicated to theoretical foundation, which is based on Marxism and its critical and totalizing perspective, going against the post-structuralist hegemony with its micro vision of the social. Still in this tuning fork we work with the concept of a regime of accumulation within a theory about the mode of production of capitalist production, in order to understand the historical context of the last decades of the twentieth century. In the warp of the first chapter we also devoted some lines to explaining the sociological theory of cinema used in research, here materialized in the form of a dissertation; including what we consider to be fundamental in a film, which is the film message, where the feelings, interests, political positions, etc., of the team that produces the cinematographic work are expressed. The second chapter is a panoramic flight on the history of the regime of integral accumulation, we start from the concept and then we make a historical-sociological study on the world-wide and American reality of the sixties, seventy and eighty of the twentieth century. In the third chapter we have the analysis of the movie Blade Runner. We start from its realization, from production, and then analyze its social critique of capitalism, in view of a totalizing look at social relations that are in concrete reality and expressed in the film as consumerism, exploitation of labor, individualism, destruction the environment and neoliberalism. All encompassed by a dystopian and pessimistic perspective on capitalism in the age of integral accumulation.Item Catástrofe e utopia: a crítica à ideologia do progresso em Benjamin e Bloch e a iconoclastia das lutas contemporâneas(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-06-14) Oliveira, Francisco das Chagas de; Sofiati, Flávio Munhoz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7078667432523349; Sofiati, Flávio Munhoz; Coelho, Allan da Silva; Martins, Lucineia ScreminThis dissertation examines the concepts of Catastrophe and Utopia, as developed by Walter Benjamin (1892-1940) and Ernst Bloch (1885-1977), in the context of the ascendancy of destructive technics between the outbreak of World War I (1914-1918) and the unfolding of World War II (1939-1945). Conceived as fundamental elements of the Marxist romantic critique of the Ideology of Progress, the concepts of Catastrophe and Utopia are analyzed in a dialogical manner, drawing from the works of Benjamin and Bloch, to achieve a deeper understanding of contemporary social reality. In this regard, the present research investigates the construction and perpetuation of a religious mentality, characterized by a certain "redemptive romantic violence," manifested in the actions of marginalized groups involved in the destruction of historical heritage during the early 21st century. Consequently, the research demonstrates the ongoing existence of this worldview in the discourse of resistance against capitalist modernity, which is reflected in acts of depredation targeting historical monuments associated with the Brazilian colonial era. Throughout the study, we employed documentary analysis, giving priority to traditional Brazilian and international media outlets with a strong digital presence. The incident of the fire at the monument in honor of Borba Gato was used as a poignant example in the context of critically perceiving Brazilian reality. This event resonates with the new contemporary iconoclastic wave and highlights how social movements absorbed the wave of destruction while also taking action. We found that the demands of these movements challenge socioeconomic projects and hegemonic historical-social narratives. Moreover, this contestation is imbued with utopian power, as it recognizes that capitalism poses a threat to the world of life.
