Item A prática do slackline: um diagnóstico de sua incidência no estado de Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-09-29) Guedes, Diogo Geraldo da Silva; Inácio, Humberto Luís de Deus; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4114148723699030; Inácio, Humberto Luís de Deus; Pimentel, Giuliano Gomes de Assis; Bungenstab, Gabriel CarvalhoThe slackline in the state of Goiás is characterized as a recent and little-themed modality in scientific research at the strictu sensu level, this research sought, through a descriptive investigation, to shed light on this body adventure practice in order to identify and map the places of practice where they are developed, in addition to creating the socio, economic and cultural profile of slackliners (as slackliners are called). Regarding the methodological process, we started with qualitative research using the following data collection instruments: participant observation and semi-structured questionnaire. In this sense, we understand that slacklining is still in full development, however, there are groups with their own characteristics and organized in the state of Goiás, on the other hand, a large number of practitioners still establish a relationship with this modality that is close to spontaneous and casual. We can highlight that the organized practice of slackline in the state of Goiás is summarized in two groups (lake monsters and double check), in addition, the midline and highline, unlike other regions and countries, in the state of Goiás are the most practiced variations of slackline, presenting a singularity in relation to the investigated state. Finally, we can conclude that slacklining in the state of Goiás preserves playful characteristics, different from traditional sports. Furthermore, we also highlight that the relationships established between slackliners are based on “being together”, sharing emotions and feelings that are built from of practicing slackline.Item Adaptações da postura vertebral de mulheres submetidas a exercícios com o peso corporal: comparação entre hiit whole body e pilates(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-09-14) Gonçalves, Sabrina Fernandes; Carneiro, Juliana Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8696147331750260; Campos, Mario Hebling; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7453152742646125; Campos, Mario Hebling; Silva , Maria Sebastiana; Paula, Marcelo Costa dePhysical exercise has been used as a tool to improve vertebral posture. However, there is still limited information about the adaptation of the geometric shape of the spinal column in different types of physical exercises. Many studies have analysed vertebral posture in static situations, but evaluating the effect of exercise movement on vertebral posture during walking can provide new insights. Therefore, the aim of this study was to identify adaptations in vertebral posture during walking and in the orthostatic position in women subjected to 8 weeks of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT Whole Body - HWB) and Pilates. The study included 26 women aged 33.9±13.3 years, weighing 59.6±8.5 kg, and with a height of 1.63±0.06m, divided into two groups: HWB and Pilates, with 13 participants in each group. The participants underwent 8 weeks of training in each intervention, with sessions lasting 50 minutes. In the HWB group, subjective perceived exertion (PSE) was measured using the adapted Borg scale. However, it was not possible to measure PSE in the Pilates group. Vertebral posture was assessed using videogrammetry in the orthostatic position and during a walking cycle on a treadmill before and after the intervention. Regarding the interventions, the HWB group showed a significant reduction (d=1.3; p=0.0140) in the geometric curvature of the lower lumbar region during static posture, while the Pilates group exhibited an increase in thoracic kyphosis angle in the sagittal plane (p=0.0073). Results for the HWB group during walking in the sagittal plane included a significant increase in range of motion (ROM) in the lumbar region (d=1.0), a substantial increase in ROM in the thoracic region (d=3.5), and a moderate increase in ROM in the central thoracic region (d=0.7). In the frontal plane, results showed a moderate increase in ROM in the upper lumbar region (d=0.7), a significant increase in ROM in the lower thoracic region (d=1.0), and a substantial increase in ROM in the central thoracic region (d=1.2). The main results for the Pilates group during walking in the sagittal plane included a significant increase in ROM in the lumbar region (d=1.8), a substantial increase in ROM in the thoracic region (d=2.9), and a significant increase in ROM in the central thoracic region (d=1.0). In the frontal plane, results showed a substantial increase in ROM in the upper lumbar region (d=1.3), a significant increase in ROM in the lower thoracic region (d=1.5), and a substantial increase in ROM in the central thoracic region (d=1.6). This study demonstrated the ability to increase range of motion (ROM) in both frontal and sagittal plane analyses during walking following HIIT Whole Body intervention, confirming the potential of this exercise modality to promote adaptations in vertebral posture. These adaptations are of great importance for overall spinal health and for preventing issues such as stiffness, pain, and postural dysfunctions.Item Alterações no comportamento tático, respostas fisicas e fisiológicas em pequenos jogos com igualdade e superioridade numérica no futebol(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-03-24) Borges, Eduardo de Paula Amorim; Costa, Gustavo De Conti Teixeira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9537322186772529; Costa, Gustavo De Conti Teixeira; Vieira, Carlos Alexandre; Praça, Gibson MoreiraTo increase soccer performance, contemporary training methods are used, based on the use of small games, which aim to improve, for example, the technical and tactical skills of the players, depending on the manipulation of variables such as the number of players, limitation of ball touches and others. However, little has been investigated about tactical and physical-physiological parameters of Small Games situations where the number of players between teams is unbalanced. Therefore, the objectives of the present research were: to carry out a narrative review about small games in football and to analyze the tactical and physical-physiological behavior of under-15 and under-17 athletes from small games (SSGs) played with equality. numerical and numerical superiority in the offensive phase in soccer players. The narrative review showed that SSGs are pedagogical tools used in training sessions to improve players' tactical, technical, physical and psychological skills in formal game-like environments. The use of reduced games has advantages in the teaching-learning-training process of football, as long as the coach understands which game variables must be manipulated to achieve his goals. Thus, the effectiveness of small games as pedagogical tools depends on their multiple configurations, such as the composition of teams, the number of players per team, the size of the field and the manipulation of game rules. These game settings must be aligned with the goals of the coach and the team, and meet the athletes' ability to solve problem situations, based on their tactical knowledge. When considering the analysis of the tactical and physical behavior of the second objective, 14 athletes from the under-15 categories and 14 athletes from the under-17 category wereItem As relações de gênero na prática de escalada em Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-09-28) Guiotti, Laleska Lopes; Inácio, Humberto Luís de Deus; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4114148723699030; Inácio, Humberto Luís de Deus; Nicolino, Aline da Silva; Pereira, Dimitri WuoThe research proposal presented here concerns how gender relations occur in the climbing practices in the State of Goiás, which is a growing activity that differs from traditional practices. To elucidate the research, the collection and analysis of the data used were based on qualitative research with content and discourse analysis, surveys were carried out on indoor gyms and outdoor natural places where climbing is practiced. At first, a literature review was carried out on the subject, and secondly, data was collected using an online questionnare to be filled by the practitioners and field observations. Subsequently, an analysis was made of the data, the profile (cultural, social and economic) of the climbers, linking theory to concrete reality and providing contributions for the promotion of public policies and actions for the development of climbing in the state of Goiás, with the respective evolution of the entire socio-economic chain related to it, as well as for the academic and school community. The analysis and description of the data allowed us to understand how women have taken a leading role in recent years in climbing in Goiás, and as they have common identifications with elements of the culture that express similar values and lifestyle, the climbing community has shown itself to be welcoming and there was a lot of emphasis on the need for debates about gender relations in these spaces and greater encouragement from public authorities.Item Atenção à saúde da população em situação de rua: reflexões sobre possibilidades da educação física no consultório na rua(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-08-25) Rios, Gleyson Batista; Furtado, Roberto Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4253703423730148; Furtado, Roberto Pereira; Antunes, Priscilla de Cesaro; Oliveira, Marcos Flávio Mércio deThis is a bibliographical research with the objective of identifying directions for the professional performance of Physical Education in the Consultório na Rua. The research was developed in two stages. The first stage was a Literature Review with the aim of identifying and analysing theses, dissertations and articles on Consultório na Rua that are related to Physical Education. The texts were selected from the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (DLTD), in August 2021 and from the Journal CAPES database, in January 2022. The initial results pointed to an inexpressive presence of Physical Education in research involving the Consultório na Rua. Based on this result, the second stage was outlined in order to find theoretical subsidies that could contribute to Physical Education in the Consultório na Rua. At this stage, a data triangulation was carried out from the analysis of documents comprising the official guidelines for the Street Clinic, the scientific production that discusses Physical Education in primary care and mental health and elements of the author's experience, referring to the period in which he worked as a Physical Education professional in a Consultório na Rua team. After this path, we identified the reinforcement of the need for intersectoral and intrasectoral articulation for the whole care of the homeless population. There is also an indication that the diversification of body practices is presented as an important element for the organization of the work process, aiming at greater adherence, and that the differences in the socio-historical debate linked to body practice and physical activity are not trivial, but fundamental for articulating the clinical and political dimensions of the Consultório na Rua.Item Capacidade aeróbia, perfil nutricional e pressão arterial de árbitros de futsal do estado de Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-04-15) Tondato, Marcus Vinicius; Silva, Maria Sebastiana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1329422634395496; Silva, Maria Sebastiana; Costa, Gustavo de Conti Teixeira; Guimarães, Juracy da SilvaThis study aimed to evaluate the markers of nutritional and health status and cardiorespiratory fitness of futsal referees in the State of Goiás. A descriptive cross-sectional study of a quantitative nature was carried out with 22 male Futsal referees, registered and FGFS affiliates, active, aged between 20 and 50 years. Physiological changes that could constitute a risk during the cardiopulmonary test were considered as exclusion criteria, such as decompensated hypertension and high resting heart rate. Anthropometric measurements (body mass index, waist and hip circumferences and waist-to-hip ratio) and body composition (fat and fat-free mass, body water and phase angle), lipid profile and blood pressure tests, in addition to of food consumption and cardiorespiratory fitness by direct and indirect methods. Data were analyzed using SPSS statistical software. The results showed that most futsal referees were overweight and obese, 13.5% with increased waist circumference, about 40.9% with high waist-to-hip ratio. Body composition data indicated that 13.6% had high fat, 63.6% had a phase angle below adequate and 22.7% had mild hypertension on the day of the test. As for food consumption, 22.7% consumed insufficient amounts of carbohydrate and 72.7% excess lipids. The results of biochemical markers of nutritional status showed that 63.6% of the futsal referees had low HDL, while 13.6% and 4.5% of them had high triglyceride and total cholesterol, respectively. There was no difference in VO2max obtained by the direct and indirect methods (p=0.421) and the correlation coefficient between the methods was 0.702 (p<0.001). The association results showed that the VO2max obtained by the direct method was considered more predictive of cardiovascular risk than the indirect method. The results made it possible to conclude that a portion of the futsal referees in Goiás presented anthropometric, body composition and biochemical parameters indicative of cardiovascular risk; food consumption of carbohydrates and lipids was considered inadequate, and, through VO2max, it was possible to identify that some had regular physical fitness, which can further compromise their health, especially cardiovascular, and thus compromise in the future the activity of refereeing.Item Capoeira e trabalho: as relações entre a capoeira contemporânea na cidade de Goiânia e a organização social do trabalho(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-11-24) Carvalho, Aryanna Barbosa de; Baptista, Tadeu João Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9002864045147738; Baptista, Tadeu João Ribeiro; Antunes, Caio Sgarbi; Costa, Neuber LeiteThis study aimed to analyze the formation of a typical capoeira from Goiânia, based on the development of the history of this fight since the 19th century, relating the formation of this body culture to the transformations in work world, as Antunes (2006) calls it. So that we could verify how the formation of the elements that constitute the so-called contemporary capoeira in the Goiânia city took place, we sought to demonstrate some characteristics of slave/street capoeira and capoeira in the "age of the academies", as it was called by Capoeira (2015b). We highlight some elements of the main traditional capoeira schools: Angola and Regional, as well as their main masters, Bimba and Pastinha. Our aim was to understand the social determinations that culminated in the formation of different types of capoeiras until a model developed in contemporary times was reached. We analyzed the formation of capoeira relating it to work from the ontological point of view, based on the studies of Marx (2017a; 2017b), Engels (2004), Lúkács (2012; 2013) and Antunes (2006; 2018) to identify work as a vital human activity and which, under the aegis of capital, assumes increasingly social characteristics in the metabolism between human beings and nature. Our research covers different periods of Brazilian social formation, from the slaveholding structure of production to the predominance of salaried work. Thus, the objectives of our study were: a) to understand the relationship between capoeira and work; b) analyze the construction of capoeira from historical and social determinations; and c) identify in the contemporary capoeira phenomenon its different forms of existence. Our research had as data collect technique ten semi-structured interviews and among our interviewees, capoeira teachers, boatswain and masters. The data show that some interviewees are able to identify what a contemporary capoeira would be, including listing its characteristics, others still defend that it is an evolution of capoeira Angola and Regional. They also point out that contemporary capoeira loses some important foundations of traditional capoeira, but does not completely escape aspects of ancestry. This capoeira, according to the research subjects, brings new foundations arising from other practices such as fights and gymnastics, in addition to the incorporation of acrobatic movements. We infer that there is a contemporary capoeira in Goiânia city and that, even though it is not a third capoeira school, it is a new form of capoeira today, especially because it is transformed, in the capitalist production mode, also into a commodity to be sold. Furthermore, even if they do not consider themselves as such, those who work with capoeira are a special commodity: when they sell their labor power, in exchange for subsistence wages, they make up an army of exploited workers.Item Configurações do trabalho de personal trainers de Goiânia- GO no contexto da pandemia de covid-19 e suas relações com a saúde mental(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-05-26) Carvalho, Estelia Auxiliadora de Oliveira; Antunes, Priscilla de Cesaro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3001179599852212; Antunes, Priscilla de Cesaro; Baptista, Tadeu João Ribeiro; Pasquim, Heitor MartinsSince 2020, the world has been facing the COVID-19 pandemic, which has brought numerous changes to the world's population. Some of these changes involved people's mental health, including several professionals. The general objective of this dissertation was to analyze the mental health of personal trainers in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. And the specific objectives: to understand how personal trainers perceived their mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic; understand how the personals dealt with their mental health demands and; to analyze the relationships between mental health and the work of a personal trainer. A qualitative research was carried out, which interviewed 10 Physical Education professionals who acted as personal trainers in the most critical period of the pandemic, in 2020 and 2021. The interviews were semi-structured and the data were analyzed using the content analysis technique. From the standpoint of Collective Health, discussions on mental health took into account the work configurations of personal trainers, and the results showed aspects such as professional and financial instability, lack of labor rights (vacation, Christmas bonus, unemployment insurance, leave, prior notice, retirement, etc.), high working hours, own cost of materials, uniforms and travel, requirement to also work in accounting, secretary, attracting clients, producing content on social networks, etc. The routine was differentiated between men and women, and the personal ones included taking care of the home and family. The main change in work settings during the pandemic was the shift from face-to-face classes to online classes. The moment was marked by financial impact and deepening instability, elements associated with symptoms and suffering mentioned by the interviewees. There were reports of anxiety, stress, sleeping difficulties, fear, suffering, low self-esteem, among others. The personals looked for individual ways to deal with this exhaustion, such as psychologists and psychiatrists, other types of therapies, body practices, groups of friends and spirituality. On the other hand, they did not identify significant collective measures for the professional category in the pandemic, such as support, protection and policies promoted by the professional council or other entities and by the Brazilian government. Although positive aspects of being a personal trainer were also mentioned, which give it status and appreciation in the field of Physical Education, the research data showed contradictions in the context in which the pandemic brought more evidence to the precariousness of working conditions and the lack of safety labor, with marked gender differences, and an increase in suffering related to mental health.Item A construção da imagem da mulher negra no Brasil através da arte: uma proposição de análise(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-09-14) Sousa, Mariana do Nascimento; Rezende, Tânia Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9438105037411040; Furtado, Rita Márcia Magalhães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2445364912204332; Furtado, Rita Márcia Magalhães; Rezende, Tânia Ferreira; Valdez, Diane; Correia, Paulo PetronilioThis research problematizes the construction of the image of black women in Brazilian art between the 19th and 21st centuries. Therefore, we resorted to artistic works, of different modalities, periods and distinct authorship, with the objective of revealing the relationship between the images and the maintenance/subversion of the racial and gender symbolic regime in Brazil. One of the selected works is the caricature “The kiss of Ardit” by the French artist Joseph Mill, produced for the Rio de Janeiro magazine Bazar Volante in 1866. We point out the imperialism of the white-European perspective in the symbolic construction of the black feminine seen in the caricature. Likewise, we take the short story “Maria” by Conceição Evaristo (2018) to analyze, during the narrative, the author’s articulation against the permanence of the hegemonic gaze and on the black female body in contemporary times. As a methodological reference, we work in an intersectional way; the decolonial perspective developed by the Modernidade/Colonialidade collective, the trajectory of black feminist thought in Brazil and the concept of Control Images by Patricia Hill Collis (2019). These approaches, used in an intersectional way, contributed to the analysis of the selected artistic works. This is because the discussion about image based on the illustration 'O Beijo de Ardit', by Joseph Mill, and the short story 'Maria', by Conceição Evaristo, constituted the problematization that links the motivation of the research, the problem itself, and the theoretical plan. . Finally, we present the artistic work of contemporary Brazilian black women as a way to deconstruct the symbolic effects of colonialism on the black female body. After the theoretical discussion and analysis of the selected artistic works, it was concluded that just as the images of control were/are used by the ruling class to perpetuate the symbolic effects of colonialism, the images created by black women function as uncontrollable images. They deconstruct stereotypes created over centuries to attribute inhumanity, justify violence and control black female behavior. Soon they are a way of decolonizing the socially constructed look in the country.Item A corporalidade da criança e a instituição de educação infantil: reflexões iniciais a partir da teoria histórico cultural(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-08-31) Brito, Pâmella Gomes de; Baptista, Tadeu João Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9002864045147738; Baptista, Tadeu João Ribeiro; Zanotto, Luana; Leite, Jaciara OliveiraThe present study, outlined by qualitative research, based on dialectical historical materialism, aims to understand the determinants of the child's teaching, development and instruction processes, wich are methodological action guides in the educational practice of Early Childhood Education, and seeks to apprehend the insertion of the field of Physical Education and its possibilities of contribution to the area. For that, we start from the Historical Cultural Theory when we raise the thesis that the pedagogical practice, in the scope of the methodology and the use of mediating activities in the teaching process and selection of contents in Early Childhood Education, is displaced from the instruction and development of the child. By abstracting the categories work, State, family, woman, race and child, the research seeks to situate Physical Education and its role in Early Childhood Education as a prerogative for the expanded formation and complexification of children's rights, dimensioning the historical, legal and formative forms of corporeality, as well as its relevance and validity in child development and instruction, which led us to the analysis of some documents that organize Early Childhood Education in Brazil, such as the RCNEI, DCNEI, BNCC, among others, and allowed us to point out that the Religious, eugenic and gender aspects still remain ingrained as main elements in the legal consolidations that govern the institution of Early Childhood Education.Item E-book interativo para o ensino do tênis de campo na Educação Física escolar(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-04-28) Madureira, Edymar Patryk; Gemente, Flórence Rosana Faganello; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9789647065401781; Gemente, Flórence Rosana Faganello; Silva, Ana Paula Salles da; Lisbôa, Mariana MendonçaTennis is a body practice widespread worldwide and has a high educational power. Therefore, its presence in school environments is practically nonexistent. Schools that have tennis practice are rare. Lack of material, adequate infrastructure and specific knowledge on tennis are amongst the main arguments put forward by teachers for not including that sport in their classes. Alternatively, digital technologies of information and communication (TDICs) are increasingly present in schools, bringing new challenges and new possibilities for the educational field. Thus, and by seeking to merge the teaching of tennis in schools, TDICS and guiding principles of media-education, our general objective is to elaborate and evaluate, based on suggestions given by physical education teachers, the use of an interactive e-book for the development of tennis in school. We have used a qualitative methodology involving elements from the research-action. By means of questionnaires applied to 178 students of the Professional Masters’ course in Physical education in the National Network of UNESP (PROEF), National Network from UNESP (PROEF), it has identified the reason by which professional of physical education do not work tennis sports in their schools. Afterwards, we tried to identify elements to support the e-book creation. This way, the teachers suggested contents and didactics, pedagogical elements that should be in the e-book and that, could help them in the process of developing tennis in schools. With these elements, we built the first e-book version. It was evaluated throughout an interview given by three teachers selected among the participants who responded the questionnaire. After this evaluation, we had an intervention in a State public school in Palmas - Tocantins, followed by an interview with the teacher responsible for the intervention and evaluated the e-book. The results show that the lack of specific materials, inadequate space for tennis, lack of specific knowledge about the sport, lack of books and research aimed at teaching tennis in schools are the main obstacles for tennis developing in schools. However, they are no reasons to not to work tennis sports in schools. The e-book has presented new possibilities for teaching and learning related to the development of tennis in schools, TDICs and media-education to the teachers who evaluated it. It has brought real and concrete possibilities to work tennis spots in school. It has stimulated the interest of other students in school, the principal’s and the teachers involved in the e-book evaluation process to work tennis by using the e-book as a starting point.Item Educação Física e pedagogia histórico-crítica: aproximações históricas e apropriações teóricas(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-12-22) Andrade, Leonardo Carlos de; Furtado, Roberto Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4253703423730148; Furtado, Roberto Pereira; Silva, Efrain Maciel e; Lavoura, Tiago NicolaThe present work had the general objective to analyze how Physical Education has approached the historical-critical pedagogy and what the foundations of this pedagogical theory have been appropriated by reference works in the field. In this way, 1) We map and analyze the existing production between Physical Education and historical-critical pedagogy in the period between 1996-2019; 2) We identified the main theoretical productions that are references in this theme, by the criterion of citation between pairs; 3) We identified which fundamentals of historical critical pedagogy were appropriated by the main references of Physical Education on the subject. Therefore, we captured through bibliographical research the process of propositional development of the approximations of Physical Education with the historical critical pedagogy and the identification of the philosophical, pedagogical and psychological foundations that have been appropriated. In chapter 1, we historically contextualize the approximations between historical-critical pedagogy and Physical Education, from the renovating movement to contemporaneity. For that, we traced the following path: 1º) Emergence and characterization of the historical-critical pedagogy; 2º) First approximations between Physical Education and historical-critical pedagogy, in the renovating movement; 3rd) Timeline about the main events on the topic; 4th) Presentation of reference works in the debate on Physical Education and historical-critical pedagogy between 1996 and 2019. In Chapter 2, we present the philosophical foundations that were identified in the 9 reference works on the theme: I) Work and Human Formation; II) Human Gender and Educational Work; III) Alienation and Class Struggle; IV) Emancipation and Freedom. In Chapter 3, we present the pedagogical and psychological foundations that were identified in the 9 works, condensed in the debate on: I) School Education; II) School Knowledge; III) Didactic Bases and Propositions. Through the analysis of the appropriate categories by the 9 works of Physical Education, we capture a trend in the incorporation of the fundamentals of historical-critical pedagogy, primarily by the classics of this pedagogical theory, Marxism and historical-cultural psychology, showing an effort by the field to develop its appropriations very consistently.Item Educação Física em uma escola do campo: uma experiência com o ensino dos esportes(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-07-27) Silva, Fabiana Francisca de Lima; Furtado, Roberto Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4253703423730148; Furtado, Roberto Pereira; Rodrigues, Heitor de Andrade; Garcia, Lênin TomazettSchool physical education is a discipline that has peculiar characteristics and sport is a teaching content, inseparable from the opportunity to learn to compete. The present study had the objective of developing a Didactic Sequence for the teaching of sports, organizing the modalities by the internal logic and providing for a pedagogical competition in a rural school. During the research, we sought to analyze the students' conceptions and representations about sport and pedagogical competitions, evaluating whether the development of the Didactic Sequence and the proposed competition provided significant learning to students. Sport pedagogy has investigated and expanded the possibilities of understanding the sports phenomenon and has collaborated with current methodologies, which aim to increase the knowledge directed to pedagogical interventions in the teaching and learning processes of sports practices. In order to understand and deepen the central theme of the research, we sought the contribution of several authors who understand competition in the school context as a perspective of integral development, that is, a pedagogical competition and believe in the resignification of school competition as a content to be taught to students. For data collection, participant observations were made, with field diary records, of the pedagogical sequence, as well as of the event; and Focus groups, carried out before and after the sequence of classes and competition. As a main result, major changes were observed in comparison to the organization of events and the teaching of sports in previous years. It was evidenced that the pedagogical process based on a pedagogical competition had an evident impact on individual and collective behavior.Item Educação Física na educação infantil: perspectivas docentes e diretrizes oficiais em Uberlândia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-10-30) Andrade, Alessandra Oliveira de; Pinto, Rubia-Mar Nunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1247945292759754; Pinto, Rubia- Mar Nunes; Garcia, Lênin Tomazett; Amaral, Gislene Alves doThis research addresses the topic of physical education in Early Childhood Education by interrogating the participating teachers of the development of Pedagogical Guidelines and Orientations for the Practice of Physical Education Teachers in Early Childhood Education (hereinafter, only Guidelines) of the Municipal Secretary of Education of Uberlândia (hereinafter, only SME/Uberlândia), Minas Gerais. Its main objective is to identify and study the elements and factors in the process of preparing the Guidelines that impacted the teaching work of the participating teachers. The qualitative research proved to be pertinent to the intended and the data and information collection strategy was the questionnaire with open questions, which was answered by 08 (eight) physical education teachers who were part of the collective that prepared this document in the period 2014-2016. Content Analysis was the analysis technique that made it possible to organize and study the information and data collected. At the end of the research, it can be concluded that the interest in expanding and consolidating good pedagogical practices in Early Childhood Education, prior knowledge of the planning process and construction of official documents at SME/Uberlândia, the recognition of realities and difficulties experienced by other teachers from that collective as well as the democratic and egalitarian dynamics of the process emerged as the elements and factors that produced significant impacts on the teaching work of the research subjects.Item Educação Física no núcleo ampliado da saúde da família: revisão integrativa da literatura(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-04-06) Lima, Isaac Neves de; Neves, Ricardo Lira de Rezende; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5120704682457098; Neves, Ricardo Lira de Rezende; Martinez, Jéssica Félix Nicácio; Pasquim, Heitor MartinsThe general objective of this work was to analyze the scientific production related to physical education at NASF, from 2010 to 2020, in the Lilacs, Scielo, and BVS databases, considering the dimensions and possibilities of intervention centered on the professional 'core' of EF and from ‘field'. The results showed that, among the 16 articles researched, 11 are empirical and five are theoretical. Despite the advances in publications related to physical education in public health, this professional’s actions within the NASF are still focused on the curative and medicinal conception of physical education in health. Among the articles there are debates about the initial training of physical education professionals to work in NASF; criticism of the activities carried out, structures and equipment; and the production also points out that the work of the EF and the NASF, in general, needs to be focused on the concerns of carrying out the multidisciplinary work provided for in the legal frameworks of this policy, especially when analyzing the contents of the articles relating them to the category 'field'. It is considered that there is a gap and a mismatch between the current legislation, related to Brazilian public health policies, and what has been done in practice and at work in the NASF that involve the PEF. Thus, there is still a lot to be done concerning this issue so that the PEF can bring more resolution to SUS users in the actions carried out within the health system as a whole, but especially the NASF, leading the system to approach a transforming, humanized praxis that considers the reality and the diversity of contexts in the territories that involve communities in need of health care.Item EDUFISICAST: dando voz à Educação Física escolar(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-10-29) Mendes, Wendell Vieira; Lazzarotti Filho, Ari; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2035441455224809; Lazzarotti Filho, Ari; Bungenstab, Gabriel Carvalho; Inácio, Humberto Luiz de DeusThe objectives of this study was to support the production of instructional material in the form of a Podcast, aiming to clarify and reaffirm the status of curricular component of Physical Education as a mediator of a visible and relevant knowledge in the education of students, EDUFISICAST. Derived from this purpose, the objectives showed in this paper are: to present the origin and constitution of knowledge related to the discipline Physical Education as a curricular component; to identify what the academic field of education has produced about the reasons for the invisibility of disciplinary knowledge of school Physical Education; to understand the influence of school culture on the invisibility of disciplinary knowledge of Physical Education; and present some possibilities for innovation in the pedagogical practice of school Physical Education. In this research, we opted for a literature review with a qualitative approach. From the basic text School Physical Education: between the “roll the ball” and the pedagogical renewal (González, 2018), which discusses the teaching performances of Physical Education teachers, we draw the central theme of this research, that is, School Culture and Physical Education. Within this central theme, we found categories of analysis that we adopted as subthemes: Invisibility of the Disciplinary Knowledge of School Physical Education; Functional Character of Teaching Work Abandonment; Hierarchy of School Knowledge; and Innovation of pedagogical practices. These scripted themes supported the production of eleven episodes of the podcast entitled EDUFISICAST. After going through the five stages that are common to all podcasts (production, recording, editing, publication and distribution) the educational product was evaluated by Physical Education teachers and teachers from other areas through an online questionnaire. The results of the evaluation were very positive regarding to the product acceptance as well as the ease of access, the format and quality of the content and some possible retention of listeners. They indicate that working on information and training on the value of school Physical Education through podcast media can be a fertile and quite feasible path.Item O efeito agudo de protocolos de potenciação pós-ativação com diferentes cargas no desempenho de homens treinados(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-10-12) Silva, Anderson Garcia; Gentil, Paulo Roberto Viana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1035626376037407; Gentil, Paulo Roberto Viana; Campos, Mario Hebling; Vieira, AmiltonSeveral resources are studied seeking to increase performance and adaptations related to Resistance Training (RT), such as the use of ergogenic food supplements and advanced training methods. Post Activation Potentiation (PPA) is a technique that has been quite evident in studies that show increased performance in power and strength sports. However, little is known about the effects of APP on RT. Objectives: To investigate the effects of two PPA protocols on the performance of men trained during three sets of barbell squats, verified by the number of maximum repetitions and total volume. To investigate the response of two PPA protocols on the perceived exertion and discomfort of trained men after each series of barbell squats, performed until momentary concentric failure. Methods: A randomized crossover trial was performed with 14 men recreationally trained in RT, who were subjected to three experimental situations. In two situations, two different PPA protocols were performed and in another condition, a traditional warm-up. One of these potentiation protocols was performed with high load (CA-PPA), corresponding to 90% of 1RM. In the other potentiation protocol, a low load (CA-PPA) corresponding to 45% of 1RM was used. The traditional heating situation, performed at 45% of 1RM, was implemented as a control (CON). All volunteers participated, in random order, in the three situations. The number of repetitions in each set, the total number of repetitions and the total training volume were compared. The subjective perception of exertion and discomfort were also evaluated at the end of each series in the three experimental conditions. Results: There were no significant differences between the three conditions in relation to the total number of repetitions achieved (p = 0.17). When comparing each series, there were also no significant differences between each condition (p=0.17). Regarding the total volume, there were no differences when comparing the three conditions (p=0.15). When the total volume was compared for each series, there were also no differences between the three conditions (p = 0.1). Spearman's correlation also showed no association between the IFR and the difference in the number of repetitions between the CA-PPA and CON condition (ρ = - 0.15; p = 0.60), as well as for the difference in total volume between the two conditions (ρ = - 0.08; p = 0.78). Regarding PSD, there were no differences for the total score between the three experimental situations (p=0.27). Likewise, there were no differences for PSD when it was compared for each series between conditions (p=0.27). There were significant differences only for the subsequent grades (p<0.001), with the third grade having a higher PSD compared to the second and first, and the second grade having a higher score compared to the first. Finally, in relation to PSE, no difference was detected between the conditions (p = 0.92). Neither, when compared for each series, between the three conditions (p=0.06). Conclusion: There were no differences between the protocols of CA-PPA, CB-PPA, in the number of repetitions achieved, in the total volume, in PSD and PSE.Item O ensino de esportes de invasão na Educação Física escolar: construção e análise de uma proposta de ensino pautada nos jogos desportivos coletivos e nos estilos de ensino(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-08-27) Macêdo, João Arlindo dos Santos; Rodrigues, Heitor de Andrade; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5052716297920478; Rodrigues, Heitor de Andrade; Krahenbuhl, Tathyane; Bungenstab, Gabriel CarvalhoThe present study results from an articulation between the Collective Sports Games model (CSG) and the Reciprocal (R), Divergent Production (DP) and Guided Discovery (GD) teaching styles in the teaching-learning process of handball and futsal in a 5th grade of elementary school, in a municipal public school in Senador Canedo. Thus, the general objective was to develop, apply and evaluate a didactic unit for teaching invasion sports with a focus on handball and futsal, with CSG and the R, DP and GD teaching styles as the guiding principles. In turn, the specific objectives were envisioning didactic alternatives with the potential to assist student engagement and learning based on the teaching model and styles used. Regarding the methodological procedures, it was a qualitative research, guided by the action research method. In the collection of data, we used the techniques of participant observation for the set of sixteen classes and three focus groups with the students, which occurred at the beginning, middle and closing of classes. After the implementation of the research, we analyzed the data collected using the content analysis technique from the categories participation and learning and didactic-pedagogical adjustments. Regarding teaching styles, the results of this revealed that the teaching style R proved to be beneficial for learning in the researched teaching stage, mobilizing students to start a more active and collaborative learning behavior. The teaching styles DP and GD were advantageous for students with greater knowledge about the sport, but were restricted to other students, as they demand greater cognitive demand and experience on the part of the teacher. In view of this, the results lead to the centrality of three aspects linked to teaching and learning. Which were: 1) the time necessary for the development of teaching styles and the knowledge of play related to them; 2) the teacher's level of experience in handling the CSG model and teaching styles and 3) the characteristics of a school culture with limiting aspects for teaching and learning based on an active teaching format.Item O ensino do handebol a partir de uma proposta híbrida: contribuições do teaching games for understanding e do sport education(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-04-24) Mota Júnyor, Jorge Luiz Rodrigues; Krahenbühl, Tathyane; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2409655249432276; Krahenbühl, Tathyane; Machado, João Cláudio Braga Pereira; Rodrigues, Heitor de AndradeIt is understood that Physical Education is an area of knowledge responsible for giving pedagogical treatment to various themes of body culture, among them, sport. However, despite the advances in discussions about the teaching of sport, we are still frequently faced with realities in which its teaching still takes place in a traditional way, centered on the teacher and with an emphasis on technical learning. Against this perspective, we believe that sport should be approached differently through a process that goes beyond the teaching of technical gesture, seeking to meet broader educational purposes that imply the acquisition of an ability to play smart as well as understand the sport in a broader way, collaborating for an omnilateral formation. In turn, this work had the purpose of identifying and discussing the limits and possibilities of using a hybrid teaching proposal, which included principles of the Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) and Sport Education Model (SEM) teaching models in teaching of Handball. Both models, each in their own way, share the idea that the sport teaching process should be student-centered. TGfU is dedicated to the perspective of learning technical-tactical content using the manipulation of the game as a tool based on the principles of proper choice of the game, modification by representation, modification by exaggeration and adjustment of tactical complexity. SEM, in turn, presents itself as a teaching model governed by principles that are structured and articulated in the perspective of creating a learning atmosphere rich in elements inherent to the sports scene. This time, this scenario will consist of experiences and learning proper to institutionalized sport, however under an adequate formative perspective that contemplates the demands of human formation and significant appropriation of the sport. In view of this previous exposure on the models, we believe that they complement each other while a hybrid proposal (TGfU + SEM) tends to enhance the teaching of sport. Thus, based on action research, this study (conducted by the planning and application of a didactic unit based on the hybridity of the models presented) was carried out over 17 meetings, in a 9th grade class of elementary school in a public school in the city. State Educational Network of Tocantins, in the city of Gurupi - TO. Interviews were conducted, in and out, with the conducting teacher and questionnaires with students, also in two moments (entrance and exit). Audio records were made by the researcher at the end of some meetings, which were transcribed to compose the field diary. Filming of the classes was also made, which, together with the interviews, the questionnaires and the field notebook, composed the objects of observation and analysis of this study. Thus, the analysis of the data regarding the implementation of the proposal allowed us to show significant advances in the learning of technical-tactical as well as behavioral aspects and an appropriation of a broader knowledge of the Handball modality. The observed progress reinforces the relevance of the hybrid model, however we observed that some obstacles in the implementation of the model pose as tangible challenges to the teacher and, also, the need for more research that will collaborate to consolidate a consistent and viable field of knowledge when adopted in the school reality, mainly in the context of Brazilian public schools.Item Epistemologia da Educação Física brasileira: uma (re)leitura a partir de pesquisadores do campo e de Paul Feyerabend(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-05-17) Garcia, Silas Alberto; Bungenstab, Gabriel Carvalho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4587785479515669; Bungenstab, Gabriel Carvalho; Almeida, Felipe Quintão de; Silva, Marcelo Moraes e; Fensterseifer, Paulo EvaldoThe main objective of this dissertation was to investigate the epistemological debate in Brazilian Physical Education and evaluate whether there are contributions from Feyerabend's epistemology to the field. With this intention, the research itinerary was organized into four sections. In the first section, the research was predominantly qualitative and conducted through two fronts: bibliographic research and nonexperimental research (field study), with semi-structured interviews being the chosen technique for data collection. Interviews were conducted with eight researchers who have published impact studies on the epistemology of Brazilian Physical Education, including Valter Bracht, Mauro Betti, Paulo Fensterseifer, Pedro Hallal, Felipe Quintão de Almeida, Juliano de Souza, Marcelo Moraes e Silva and Ricardo Rezer. Data analysis followed the five-phase cycles proposed by Yin (2016). In the second section, the aim was to identify, through scientific production and interviews with researchers in the field, the main problems in the epistemological scenario of Brazilian Physical Education. In the third section, biographical episodes related to Paul Feyerabend's personal, professional, and academic-scientific formation were presented. In the fourth section, new perspectives and reflections for the current dilemmas of the epistemological debate in Brazilian Physical Education were discussed based on the researchers' views and Feyerabend's works. In conclusion, it was found that Feyerabend's thought, despite being controversial and sometimes misinterpreted, offers significant contributions to understanding and valuing the plural condition of Brazilian Physical Education, countering instrumental rationality and its logic of reification, as well as to thinking about a more qualified scientific formation for the field.
