Item A colonização militar no sertão de Amaro Leite: presídio de Santa Cruz, 1854-1864(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-05-08) Almeida, Maria Juliana de Freitas; Nazareno, Elias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1486334927436240; Nazareno, Elias; Almeida, Maria Regina Celestino de; Kodama, Kaori; Araújo, Ordália Cristina Gonçalves; Magalhães, Sônia Maria deThis thesis addresses the theme of the Military Colonization Project. The study of this project, implemented in several Brazilian provinces, including the province of Goiás, from the second half of the 19th century, aims to contribute to the historical knowledge of territorial and human conquest undertaken in Brazilian inland regions where colonization was incomplete or not yet established. The research focuses on the Santa Cruz Prison in the Sertão de Amaro Leite, with a timeframe that covers the years 1854 to 1864. This period encompasses the foundation of the prison until its transfer to the Jurupensen Port, on the banks of the Rio Vermelho, near the City of Goiás. The research aims to examine the Military Colonization Project, contextualizing its political and economic motivations, as well as analyzing its implementation in the province of Goiás, including the strategies and challenges faced. It seeks to investigate the social, political, and economic transformations resulting from the project's implementation in the Sertão de Amaro Leite region, considering its impact on the social structure and regional economy. The understanding of the relationships between the military settlers and the local population, especially the Indigenous peoples, as well as the analysis of the living conditions of the colonial prison's inhabitants, are also highlighted. The research addresses the emerging social dynamics and the strategies of coexistence and resistance adopted by the various groups involved, and the impacts of this territorial occupation policy on the Avá-Canoeiro Indigenous people, in the face of the changes caused by the colonization project. With this investigation, we hope to reflect on the history of Goiás from the perspective of the prison's inhabitants, who were both victims and protagonists of the historical scene. Our research adopted an approach that combines documentary analysis and literature review. The records were examined through quantitative analysis, including statistical data treatment. Simultaneously, we conducted a qualitative analysis aiming to understand the daily life of the colonizing institution through a process of reconstruction, representation, and comparison. The establishment of military prisons in the Sertão de Amaro Leite allowed the imperial government to have greater control over the region, as well as enabling the expansion of the non-Indigenous population in the area. The analysis of the Santa Cruz Prison reveals the multiple facets of the Military Colonization Project. While the imperial government achieved its objectives due to the increase in the non-Indigenous population and the implementation of roads and paths, the residents also experienced benefits such as strengthened security and stimulated trade. However, for the Indigenous peoples, especially the Avá-Canoeiro, the consequences were disastrous, resulting in drastic changes in their way of life and the loss of lives and territories. Through the study of the Santa Cruz Prison, we can understand the complexity and varied impacts of the military colonization project for Brazil. This deeper understanding not only enriches our knowledge of the past but also allows us to reflect on current issues related to colonization, Indigenous rights, and regional development.Item À deriva: temporalidades no repertório de Paulinho da Viola (1965-1996)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-04-26) Medeiros, Kenia Erica Gusmão; Teixeira, Rafael Saddi; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2919949012379731; Teixeira, Rafael Saddi; Bittencourt, Libertad Borges; Berbert Junior, Carlos Oiti; Mello, Maria Therezinha Ferraz Negrão de; Rosa, Robervaldo LinharesThis thesis aims to study the repertoire of the composer and singer Paulinho da Viola. Their songs are the chosen sources and are analyzed mainly in their discursive aspects and to some extent in their sonorous characteristics. The notions and perceptions of temporality present in their songs are discussed in these pages and related to their own creation and popularization as time measures. The historical context of his productions and the identitary senses of his verses are also appreciated in this work, as well as his understanding of samba and its transformations over time are also an important part of this text. The lyrics of Paulinho sing the psychological time of his characters promote their articulation with dimensions of the natural, social and historical times. Among the many metaphors that the artist uses is highlighted in this thesis that of water. In his work water acquires different senses and represents movements of life. Its correlated terms such as seas, rivers, boats and sailors, among others are elements that deepen the temporalities sung by Paulinho flowing in reflections on the drift that represents the existence.Item A historiografia do Instituto Histórico e Geográfico Brasileiro no segundo reinado em revista (1839-1870)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-12-05) Teixeira, Cristhiano dos Santos; Arrais, Cristiano Pereira Alencar; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0048549261262609; Arrais, Cristiano Pereira Alencar; Salomon, Marlon Jeizon; Mendes, Breno; Araújo, Karina Anhezini de; Bentivóglio, Julio CésarThis research on historiography in the “Magazine of the Brazilian Historical and Geographical Institute” (“Institutito Histórico e Geográfico Brasileiro”, IHGB) in the 19th century aimed to analyze from a time frame between 1839 and 1870 having as a problem the main characteristics about the formation of a national historical consciousness in the Brazil. It seeks to understand the values of the country's history, used by the Empire through its representatives-historians who sought to ensure for themselves the national values of this culture in the process of construction. This would be characterized in a way of making a national history, which would emerge with its concepts and conceptions the values of its political culture in the formation of scientific historical knowledge, which could ensure for its present and future a past built from a conception moral about Brazilians. The scientific values of this historical politics, linked to a conception of its political time, were conditioned to search for the moral roots of its culture. What we will notice here is that this knowledge designed the construction of a national identity for Brazil in the 19th century. Which was linked to a project that would seek to consolidate for the nation a historiographical tradition that was converted by the logic of national memory. This type of historiographic project was not limited to seeking to consolidate a tradition from a static past, immobilized by its own inefficiency, but, above all, sought to consolidate it in the sense of building a “live” tradition for its future.Item "O abysmo das suspeitas": as narrativas da Tragédia da Piedade (1909) e a construção do mito de Euclides da Cunha (1866- 1909)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-04-07) Daher, Anna Paula Teixeira; Capel, Heloisa Selma Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0202627724737454; Capel, Heloisa Selma Fernandes; Ramos, Rosângela Patriota; Costa, Rodrigo de Freitas; Silva, Ademir Luiz da; Soares, Ana Carolina Eiras CoelhoThe writer Euclides da Cunha was killed due to a series of events involving Dilermando de Assis, the lover of his wife, Ana Emília, whom he tried to kill to recover his honor, in circumstances that were narrated in different ways, from different memories and became known as the “Tragédia da Piedade”. From this event on, we begin to understand how his narrative and the memory disputes that rise from them contribute to erect Cunha´s image as an ideal of man and intellectual, a myth - and how these constructions come from historical circumstances and the reception of his life, death and work articulated with the performance and creation of traditions of the cultural institutions of which he was part. Being a part of this groups of intellectuals at the service of the same cause (the institution of the Republic as the oficial brazilian regimen and its solidification), is what will allow the space of the myth to Cunha. This work intends to understand how Cunha's mythification become possible due to his position in this institutions (alive and after death), not only from his place in the literary canon or only from the place of literary criticism. This is possible with the analysis of the construction of narratives that affirm his place as an honorable family man, a great intellectual, culminating in his personal mythification and the inscription of his name among the greats of the country. This is due not only to the quality of his work or the circumstances of his death, but also because his peers recognized him and defended him considering that, among them, the value of the cultural traditions they protected was already determined, in a context that they also helped to build – precisely that of the Republic, in a narrative over which they held control (of information, language, vocabulary) from the same sensibilities, the same worldviews.Item "O abysmo das suspeitas": as narrativas da Tragédia da piedade (1909) e a construção do mito de Euclides da Cunha (1866- 1909)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-04-07) Daher, Anna Paula Teixeira; Capel, Heloisa Selma Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0202627724737454; Capel, Heloisa Selma Fernandes; Ramos, Rosângela Patriota; Costa, Rodrigo de Freitas; Silva, Ademir Luiz da; Soares, Ana Carolina Eiras CoelhoThe writer Euclides da Cunha was killed due to a series of events involving Dilermando de Assis, the lover of his wife, Ana Emília, whom he tried to kill to recover his honor, in circumstances that were narrated in different ways, from different memories and became known as the “Tragédia da Piedade”. Through a critical biographical analysis, we present the main aspects of scientific research work of Bohm, his formulation of an alternative interpretation of quantum theory, which has ignited debates and controversies within the world of quanta, his several theoretical contributions, including the theory of plasma, the development of an innovative theory called implicit and explicit order and also his philosophical investigations. We also present and analyze the scientific way of Prigogine and his theoretical interest in non-equilibrium thermodynamics. We show the fundamentals of his theory of dissipative structures, his unique insight into the irreversible phenomena and the most significant implications of this new view of nature and science that led him to the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1977. Although several important differences between theoretical perspectives and Bohm and Prigogine approach, we noted some similar points that were quite significant, as a concept of science radically different from the prevailing idealized view. Among these similarities we have the search for a unity between man and nature, the importance given to the conception of science without dissociating it from the deepest philosophical questions and the concern about establishing more fruitful dialogues among areas of knowledge.Item Antônio Carlos Ribeiro de Andrada (1870-1946): história, memória e escrita biográfica na construção de uma tradição política familiar(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-09-02) Mota, Danyllo Di Giorgio Martins da; Fredrigo, Fabiana de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3939287095194355; Campos, Raquel Machado Gonçalves; Oliveira, Fabiane Costa; Bento, Luiz Carlos; Bitencourt, Libertad Borges; Langaro, Jiani FernandoThe objective of this work is to demonstrate the relations between Memory, History and biographical writing in the narrative development over the political trajectory of Antônio Carlos Ribeiro de Andrada (1870-1946), a remarkable character in the processes of the Liberal Alliance, the 1930 revolution and upon the political confrontations of Vargas’ government within its years (1930-1945). Such narratives compound a memory project that aims the valuing of the political tradition of the Andrada family and its connection with the state of Minas Gerais. The identification of the family tradition with the mineiridade is stablished through the ideals of Liberalism and Democracy that guide the speeches of Antônio Carlos whilst Minas Gerais president, Liberal Alliance leader (1929-1930) and the regional disputes within the first years of the 1930 decade. Through the documental analysis, we have searched to identify the constructed images whereas the performance of Antônio Carlos and his relations amongst the quarreling political projects during its production time. We have searched to look back over the speeches that were produced by the political agent in his performing time, the historiography about the events in which he was envolved, the memorialist texts produced by authors that were from Minas Gerais and the biographical works and historical produced by The Andrada The finality of this analysis is to point how the Andrada family uses Antônio Carlos as a link between the actions of its political agents during the 19th century and those beholded by its members throughout the 20thcentury. Being so, the biography O Presidente Antônio Carlos: um Andrada da República; o arquiteto da revolução de 1930 (1998) has a remarkable position in the rescuing process and revaluing the political experience as an element of social status maintenance that constitutes the belonging to the Andrada Family line. This belonging stablishes the symbolic basis for the maintenance of the family political domination, pointing the connection between the past and present, over the remaining of the fundamental elements of the Andrada tradition amongst its different generations.Item Aprendizagem histórica intercultural a partir dos contextos educacionais indígenas e não indígenas(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-12-17) Silva, Luciana Leite da; Nazareno, Elias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1486334927436240; Nazareno, Elias; Ribeiro, José Pedro Machado; Herbetta, Alexandre Ferraz; Magalhães, Sônia Maria de; Luciano, Gersem José dos SantosThis thesis seek to contribute to debates on ethnic-racial relations in school education. We recognize progress regarding the new educational guidelines on this theme as they establish that teaching the history of Africa and indigenous peoples is mandatory. However, we understand that the recent reformulations produced in schoolbooks, as well as the overfocus on the idea of respect for differences, are insufficient because the permanence of theoretical and conceptual orientations arising from a Eurocentric conception of world history continues. We defend the idea that we need to go beyond the recognition of the existence of different cultures. We must dedicate ourselves to build an intercultural historical learning that brings complexity and epistemic variety and escapes from the chosen patterns of developed society, progress and civilization. Impacts of this pattern are easily seen when a central role is attributed to the Greek Classical Civilization, regarded as the founder of all Western thought tradition. Hence, we carry out a critical analysis, based on the methodological theoretical framework modernity/coloniality/decoloniality, and categories that were formulated in this context and were also in feedback along the construction of Modern Europe. We consider that, sided with Greek philosophical rationalism, Christianity is a fundamental cultural matrix to think about power over the body, nature, ways of thinking, social organization and spirituality. As the Catholic Church was an active participant in the colonization process, we practiced a decolonial critique of the principles of this religion that imposes itself as universal. Since the concept of coloniality encompasses a continuity of societal, political, ecological and epistemic practices beyond the colonial period, we researched how these aspects had impact on the construction of the Brazilian historiographical matrix. In field research, we analyze student-produced narratives to assess how far we moved beyond the historiographic former understanding of our colonial past and the history of indigenous populations. Finally, we argue that all this criticism of the epistemic basis of Western thought in Brazilian historiography and school education comes from and is closely linked to the criticisms of the Indigenous Movement and their discussions on interculturality. Hearing indigenous researchers, teachers and leaders, we open ourselves to the possibility of rewriting some history and to fill the numerous blank pages resulting from the monotopic path that still underlies the historical narrative inside school education.Item Arquivo, Museu, Contemporâneo. A fabricação do conceito de Arte Contemporânea no museu de Arte de Santa Catarina-Masc/SC(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2011-02-18) PINTO, Suely Lima de Assis; OLIVEIRA, Marco Antonio Assfalk de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5601509957082902The present study analyzes, in the ambit of the Art Museum from Santa Catarina (MASC), the theoretical pathway between the work of Contemporary Art and the dynamics of the called Art system undertaken at the inside part of the institution . It is verified the theory of Art from the theoretician practices, which inserted in the context of the institutions, may define the statute of what Art is and what Art is not. For both authors such as: Cauquelin (2005a, 2005b), Millet (1997), Archer (2001), Gonçalves (2004), Freire (1999) were used as theoretical apparatus. Concerning about the field InterArt theory, it is investigated the relations between Contemporary Art and its process of patrimonialization understood from the changes that got effective in contemporary artistic production, constituting the deconstruction of the artistic object or its frailty as object of art. Take into account the History field and Interart Theory, the studies have analyzed the Modern and Contemporary Art objects and its circularity in institutions from the following: the concept of Art, the concept of archive, the concept of memory and from the document as blank for the work. Authors such as Nora (1993), Huyssen (1996), Freud (1997), Birman (2006), Mezan (1989) have contributed with the notion of memory allied to the the process of forgetfulness and to the museum as an institution of memory. It is also analysed the transformation from Florianópolis Modern Art Museum (MAMF) in Santa Catarina Art Museum (MASC), in 1970s decade, process which gets effective from the reflections on the issues which build the Contemporary transformations and the actors considered relevant to the transformation process from MASC: For the transformation analysis, reflections about museum collection issues are presented: What collection is and thought, the documental dimension that closes it and the dimension of archive concept, which means, the notion of archive which gets effective from Mal D Archive in Derrida (2001) e Roudinesco (2006) and the process of filing, by which the museum takes place: The excess, the absence, the deletion, the forgetfulness, caused by the institution and in the institutionalization of archive. In parallel with the theoretical studies, it was carried out a diagnostic-visit to sixteen Art Museums around six Brazilian states. It was defined as analysis object MASC by presenting the features of a museum which possesses Modern Art and Contemporary Art museum collection, due to the singularity of its creation process.Item Arte e devoção: ex-votos pictóricos do Divino Pai Eterno (Trindade/GO, séculos XX e XXI)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-03) Corcinio Junior, Givaldo Ferreira; Borges, Maria Elizia; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0672444382021221; Borges, Maria Elizia; Borges, Déborah Rodrigues; Vilela, Ana Lúcia; Barros, Leda Maria de; Jesus, Samuel deThe Trindade’s exvotos are a singular objects in the devotional and artistic brazilian christianity universe. This objects are capital to devotes identity build, because they materialize the relationship lived between the faithful and the Divine Eternal Father. We understand, through the signs existing in these works, the impact of the technical transformations present in the individuals life from the central region of Brazil, an area of direct influence of the pilgrimage of Trindade. We seek to point out in our work the dialogue and the symbolic appropriations present between the popular art practices that are made there and the classic references, as well as to trace the presence of the narrative and the appropriations of memory visible in them, understanding that they are perceptible in the ways how devotees, through art, register their deliverances, challenges overcome and achievements obtained under the auspices of the Divine Eternal Father. We selected for study some pictorial ex-vows produced in the twentieth century, left and displayed in the miracle room of the Sanctuary of the Divine Eternal Father, which were selected using concepts reworked from studies developed by Bernard Cousin and reflecting on them from a Warburguian bias that deals with the survival of old elements and traits blending with new perceptions of the world.Item As lutas anticoloniais em Guiné-Bissau e Cabo-Verde sob a perspectiva ideológica e a trajetória política de Amílcar Cabral (1960-1974)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-09-14) Abadia, Danúbia Mendes; Pinto, João Alberto da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4246394797193440; Pinto, João Alberto da Costa; Monteiro, Artemisa Odila Candé; Barbosa, Pedro; Garcia, Alysson Fernandes; Maciel, DavidThe following aim of this dissertation is to discuss the process of anticolonial liberation struggle in Guinea Bissau and Cape Verde from the political and ideological trajectory of PAIGC leader Amilcar Cabral. Thus, we address the impact of Portuguese colonialism in Guinea and Cape Verde to trace the particularities of each one of the former colonies that, although under the same exploitation regime, present different formations, which will be reflected in the entire process of anticolonial struggle. In this sense, in denying assimilation to the colonial culture, the 'Cabral Generation' developed the epistemological breakdown that made possible the anticolonial struggles in Africa. After completing the Agricultural Engineering degree in Lisbon, Cabral returned to Guinea-Bissau determined to mobilize the fight against colonialism. The experience of Amílcar Cabral as an agricultural engineer became important in the work of mobilization and in the knowledge of the various peoples and their realities. Also called "engineer of consciences", we consider the intellectual framework that was bequeathed by Amilcar Cabral, as an African theorist of armed struggle who also used theory as an efficient weapon against colonialism. For Cabral, to study was important for every revolutionary. Beyond the economic and political liberation of colonialism, it was fundamental the liberation of consciences. Hence, Cabral's thoughts highlights the maintenance of traditional practices, to the same extent that hold science and knowledge; the party's schools functioned in the liberated areas of Portuguese domain, as well as the health centers and the people’s warehouses, where the community participated in the guerrilla deployments; women also formed the army of liberation, and the fight for the liberation of women was one of the axes of the party. The PAIGC guerrilla created a state within the colony from the practices of self-organization and self-management of armed struggle. Amílcar Cabral was cowardly murdered before seeing Independence materialize, however many of his thoughts remain a landmark for political decolonization, of minds and hearts, as the liberation of the African people.Item As ‘Artes de curar’ nos Guayazes: o Real Hospital Militar de Vila Boa (c. 1770 – c. 1827)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-10-15) Damacena Neto, Leandro Carvalho; Moraes, Cristina de Cássia Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1005102348535090; Moraes, Cristina de Cássia Pereira; Pimenta, Tânia Salgado; Ferreira, Roberto Guedes; Lemke, Maria; Paula, Jason Hugo deThe research on the Royal Hospital Militar de Vila Boa had as its main objectives to analyze the creation, administration, functioning, diseases and the 'healing arts' present in this institution. To this end, I emphasized the analysis of diseases that raged in the captaincy of Goiás in the second half of the eighteenth century and early nineteenth century, the treatments and therapeutics: the medicines used at the Royal Hospital Militar de Vila Boa coming from "mestizo medicine". As a result, other research objectives were to analyze the mestizo society that constituted the captaincy of Goiás in the second half of the eighteenth century and early nineteenth century. Identify the logic of mercy installed in the Guayazes mining society, at the mercy of the military positions given to the captain's mestizos in the Pedestrian Company, paid troop. At the mercy of the hospital's top administrators, Lourenço Antonio da Neiva and Bartholomeu Lourenço da Silva, and at the mercy of hospital treatment to the paid troops, the Dragons and Pedestrians Company and how the Dragons Company had greater privileges in the treatment of diseases at the Military Hospital by military and social hierarchy (color and quality).Item O ascetismo revolucionário do Movimento 26 de Julho: o sacrifício e o corpo na Revolução Cubana (1952 a 1958)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2009-11-13) TEIXEIRA, Rafael Saddi; SILVA, Luiz Sérgio Duarte da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4317054127961589The goal of this thesis is to understand the imagined and subjective meaning of the action of the cuban revolutionary of the 26th July movement during insurrection rebellion (fight ou dispute)(1952 to 1958). Our hypothesis is that this social action was marked by political revolutionary asceticism, that is, by one kind of action in that the agent feels as an instrument of pure and noble values of the revolutionary cause. The ascetic revolutionary is quite different from the pragmatic revolutionary since its action is not faced as a rational way to reach the aim systematically desired. On the contrary, its action is, mainly, a task to be accomplished. We analyzed, from this point, the revolutionary sacrifice as a way of bringing back to the corrupted world the pure and noble values and we noticed how the ideal of the body was presented in the discourses of the Cuban rebellions.Item Aspectos da arquitetura romana no governo de Otávio Augusto: construção e perpetuação da memória nos templos de Apolo Palatino e de Marte Vingador (Séc. I A.C.)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-06-22) Cunha, Macsuelber de Cássio Barros da; Gonçalves, Ana Teresa Marques; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7049736226460820; Gonçalves, Ana Teresa Marques; Martins, Paulo; Mota, Thiago Eustáquio Araújo; Santos, Dulce Oliveira Amarante dos; Omena, Luciane Munhoz deWe investigated in this Thesis the process of construction and perpetuation of memory and of an entire imperial imaginary during the government of Augustus; process that was established, among other ways, through the use of architecture, images and other products of material culture. The main theme of this process were the military victories and triumphs of Augustus, who used their symbolic value to legitimize his political power, which was achieved, among other things, through a religious and architectural restoration in Rome, as the capital of the Empire and a base for the development of a monumental architecture. We seek to analyze the different relations existing between Augustus' buildings with the memory and the imaginary that he wanted to perpetuate at every moment of his government, reflecting on the different ways of relating to a memory in the formation, change, maintenance and/or perpetuation of a political-religious imaginary in and of the Augustan period. Therefore, in our methodological endeavor in the topographic and architectural study of Augustus’ Rome, we used the analysis of textual and archaeological documents, as well as the numismatic evidence, in order to establish how architecture was used by him as a strategy of power. Among the various constructions that we analyze in this Thesis, we emphasize the first great architectural complex built by Augustus, dedicated to Apollo Palatinus and consecrated in 28 BC, and the last great architectural complex built by him, dedicated to Mars Ultor and consecrated in 2 BC. From a work of Templar comparison that went beyond the field of Architecture and encompassed the power system that inspired the formation of the Principate, we highlight the similarities and differences between the way of using memory in both architectural complexes and their relations with certain contexts and with the images to be propagated, in which the figure of Augustus was central.Item Os aspectos poético-musicais nas obras de Homero: multitextualidade e performance (Séc. VIII a.C)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-04-07) Souza, Marcelo Miguel de; Gonçalves, Ana Teresa Marques; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4784682H7; Gonçalves, Ana Teresa Marques; Cerqueira, Fábio Vergara; Arantes Júnior, Edson; Omena, Luciane Munhoz de; Mota, Thiago Eustáquio AraújoWe propose in this thesis to revisit the works of Homer (8th century BC), taking into account aspects of his poetic composition that refer to the elements of multitextuality and performance, as well as the temporalities in which they were composed and conceived. We start from points of view that dialogue with archeology, linguistics and musicology and relate these areas and their knowledge to the techniques of composition and improvisation of aedo. We have as objective to discuss the relations between the techniques of composition in performance and the text that we have contemporarily, suggesting a multitextual approach. We point out traces of its construction, its form, its style and we try to understand better the interactions implied in the poetic-musical constitution of the poems. Relações de gênero e estereótipos na região Centro-Oeste (1962-2021)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-08-10) Basilio, Esdra; Soares, Ana Carolina Eiras Coelho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6593268782293837; Soares, Ana Carolina Eiras Coelho; Ribeiro, Maria do Espírito Santo Rosa Cavalcante; Magalhães, Sônia Maria de; Langaro, Jiani Fernando; Carneiro, MaristelaThis thesis exposes an investigation into the area of Librarianship from the perspective of gender relations studies. I present an analysis of the librarian profession with the purpose of historically showing that the profession went through a process of feminization and, in this sense, I point out the implications that this feminization entailed for the field of knowledge. The proposal is to discuss the connections between the low valuation of the profession and the connection with the fact that the profession is mostly exercised by women. I used feminist epistemologies and the theory of gender relations studies based on the contributions of Perrot (2005), Rago (1998) and Scott (2012), among other authors, to understand the dynamics of power relations that circumscribe the profession. The methodology used was a thematic oral history, from the perspective of Alberti (2013), Meihy (1996) and Portelli (2001). The narratives of five librarians, who work in the Midwest region, were the main sources of the research, characterizing this region as the locus of analysis, more specifically the federal universities that offer the undergraduate course in Librarianship, namely: the University of Brasília, the Federal University of Goiás and the Federal University of Rondonópolis in the period between 1962-2021. The research confirmed that disputes and power games make up the field of Librarianship, in a comprehensive way where gender hierarchies are reaffirmed.Item O bom governo de México e Michoacán: Vasco de Quiroga e a colonização utópica da Nova Espanha (1531-1565)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-04-15) Witeze Junior, Geraldo; Capel, Heloísa Selma Fernandes; Berriel, Carlos Eduardo Ornelas; Ribeiro, Ana Cláudia Romano; Carvalho, Eugênio Rezende; Nazareno, Elias; Capel, Heloísa Selma FernandesThis thesis presents the work of Vasco de Quiroga and discusses his utopian project for the colonization of New Spain. It begins with a historiographical review, recovering the main interpretative lines developed over the last century; then addresses the subjects involved in quiroguian project, namely, the Spanish settlers and the Native Americans; then comes the topics that lead to utopia: just war, slavery and evangelization; finally, examines the references to Utopia to elucidate how the Quiroga understood this book and tried to apply it among the Indians, in order to build a renewed church from that new man found in America. The focus is on a careful analysis of the texts, putting the reader in direct contact with the sources, which is very different from the usual historiography. It also highlights the Utopia of Thomas More as the main inspiration through a thorough comparison between the morian text and Quiroga’s writings. Other influences are also highlighted, such as the Bible and the Philosophia Christi of Erasmus. Anyway, it aims to show the importance of knowing Vasco de Quiroga to understand the polyphonic movement of America's colonization and the development of utopian thinking as a key to the constitution of modernity. It presents a critical view of the simplistic interpretations that have created a historiographical common sense, showing that the colonial sources still has much to reveal.Item Breves danças à margem - A constituição de uma história artística da dança em Goiânia (1982-1986)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2010-11-10) RIBEIRO, Luciana Gomes; NORONHA, Marcio Pizarro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2875707762585409This thesis investigated theoretical and methodological possibilities on the field of study of the Arts, in order to build a history of dance in the city of Goiânia. The body in dance was considered as the place in which this history happens, while different and interconnected concepts of the body, art and dance, and their historiographies, support this statement. Understanding the unique configuration of the dance phenomenon and its attention/tension as history, a more critical and conceptual approach was chosen using theories on the field of conceptual history, and history of oblivion, and from that point to invention, uncertainty and unpredictability. This pathway proved to be a key factor on the identification of the dance events being held in Goiânia between the years of 1982 and 1986. Therefore, to better understand these events, the dance history between 1973 and 1988 was investigated. This period of time was marked by the creation of the first institutions for the practice of dance in Goiânia and the outbreak of a new dance scene on the city. It was also a time of great invention and creation on this area in Goiânia, which prompted the city to an exclusive and active dialogue with the dance scenario in Brazil and internationally. The sources and documents studied pointed out interesting occurrences on the dance aesthetics of that time, highlighting its insertions and hierarchies. Some of the people and artwork of that time were prominent and produced other significant developments, very distinct from what was admitted by them, or even expected from them. Local postures and dance movements bearing traces of audacity and singularity were being created at that time, showing that a new kind of dance was emerging. The association made with this whole new dance scene is that of a production beyond Nietzsche, that does not necessarily is a dichotomy or an act of overcoming tradition, but an explosion. Dance on the void, created via its process-operation of existence. Artistic temporality, where history exists.Item Carisma e Poder: Categorias elementares da retórica da igreja universal do reino de Deus(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2011-04-15) RODRIGUES, Jadir Goncalves; BORGES, Barsanufo Gomides; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8087462549680559In this research, we proposed to study the expansion and consolidation process of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG) in the troubled social context in Brazil during the period between 1977 and 2007, analyzing the abstract and concrete elements that enabled the phenomenal growth of this religious institution in a scenario of crisis and profound changes in the Brazilian social universe. We aimed at discussing the several steps in the process of consolidation of UCKG, investigating how, in an environment of religious dispute, the doctrinal discourse of the UCKG leaders was capable of drawing up a new model of religiosity and, simultaneously, enabled this religious denomination to constitute an impressive capital asset. The dissemination of a religious doctrine essentially based on the triad prosperity, exorcism, and divine healing presented excellent results in the Brazilian social context in the period under study. Furthermore, it forged concrete circumstances that enabled UCKG leaders to dispute power positions in the Brazilian social structure. During this process, the mass media ownership was of fundamental importance for UCKG leaders and so was the rhetorically orchestrated power, understood as the effective access property and control of mechanisms of influence, convincement, and social manipulation. Thanks to a scenario of generalized crisis, UCKG leaders were able to disseminate their doctrine, mainly due to the use of mechanisms to access and control properties, wielding their power over part of the society. With this thesis we intend to contribute towards the academic discussion that deals with the expansion and consolidation, in the Brazilian religious and patrimonial universe, of the brand UCKG, emphasizing its capacity to create spaces both in the religious field and in the business environment.
