Item Políticas de comunicação no contexto das mídias sociais: um estudo nas bibliotecas centrais das universidades federais do Centro-Oeste(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-11-22) Abreu, Karol Almeida da Silva; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9315618025567235; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Gomes, Suely Henrique de Aquino; Fujino, AsaIt study the communication policy in the context of social media in university libraries of the Center-West, specifically in five central libraries of the region, members of the following universities: UFG, UFGD, UFMS, UFMT and UnB. The research has as general objective to outline the communication actions, formalized or not, through a communication policy, as well as the channels used by the central libraries of the Federal Universities of the Central West to communicate with their public. And as specific objectives: to verify the existence of policies that contemplate actions of communication of the central libraries of the Federal Universities of the Center-West, directed to the use of social media; know the actions and channels of communication used by libraries (What they use? identify the design of audiences from the perspective of the library communications manager; identify problems and challenges for the implantation and maintenance of social media for communication with its public; to verify competences and necessary adaptations to the communication manager of the central libraries of the Federal Universities of the Center-West. To achieve the proposed objectives, the research is classified as qualitative and was constituted by three stages: theoretical reference scenario (theoretical foundation); collection of data through the sending of questionnaires to the managers and / or those responsible for communication in the libraries chosen for the study or, in the absence of these professionals, was sent to the coordinator and / or director of the library. Finally, a systematic observation was made on the sites of the study libraries and the social media most used by libraries. The theoretical basis of the research is constituted by the approach on communication policy, society in network and university libraries. The results of the research brought revealing information, in which managers recognize the importance of social media for communication with their public, but there is no communication policy in the study libraries. Most of the libraries participating in the study use social media to communicate with their audiences, predominantly Facebook, followed by Instagram. Although they do not have communication policies, there are two libraries that stand out in relation to Communication with their publics. The UnB Central Library has a Standing Commission on Social Media Communication and has achieved greater engagement in Facebook, with more tastings, comments and shares in the year 2017, when compared with the other pages of the libraries studied. And the central library of the UFG, which is the only library to have its own communication department, called Communication Office. They have a communication plan that formalizes the main communication activities. The research revealed that the libraries studied do not have a formalized communication policy, but they have communicative actions.Item Narrativas em áudio: análise de conteúdo de podcasts sobre autismo na podosfera brasileira(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-11-04) Abreu, Tiago Florencio de; Pavan, Ricardo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1247890099444160; Pavan, Ricardo; Temer, Ana Carolina Rocha Pessôa; Vencio, Ricardo Zorzetto NicolielloThis research aims to present the differences and similarities found between four Brazilian podcasts about autism — ABAcast, AspieGirl, AutismoCast and Introvertendo —, through a qualitative content analysis. The project arises from the observation about the existence of similarities between autism and communication, as ways of building meaning, and that, within the scope of podcast production, several minorities and segmented groups have been using podcasts as a form of expression. A content analysis was conducted, based on Sampaio and Lyncarião (2021), also based on Schreier (2012), to find statements about autism that could relate about this subject as a way of life and statements about interventions and therapies in the episodes in question, seeking to relate the dialogues with the literature on podcasting and the critical studies of autism. In conclusion, findings suggest that: neither autistic nor professionals completely distance themselves from a perception of autism based on diagnostic manuals and deficits; there’s a heterogeneity of experiences with autism according to the types of producers; most of the analyzed programs are part of a more amateur-type kind of production setup; and it’s not possible to categorically state whether the episodes in question help to understand what autism is.Item No ar - jornalismo de serviço: o rádio na vida de um grupo de taxistas de Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2015-02-26) Adorno, Delfino Curado; Tuzzo, Simone Antoniaci; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9376233659808755; Tuzzo, Simone Antoniaci; Temer, Ana Carolina Rocha Pessoa; Dias, Luciana de OliveiraWhat te service provided by radio to the taxi driver in Goiania? This the central question of this thesis is part of a research project called macro "methodological breaks for a critical media" and that since 2012 has generated scientific and academic products as part of a reflection on eletronic and print media, with research qualitative, quantitative, emprical and theoretical. In this thesis the central focus is a reflection on the radio, an old vehicle before the modern tecnological proliferation of today, but which remains alive, renovated, modern in tis use from hifgh-end devices. The radio is modern, but it is also old, is new, but it is also conservative. The radio is an option ofr many users, but is also the only option for many listerners. Given the dichotomies and paradoxes, this research is based on the taxi drivers who work professionally in Goiania. These are people who use the radio as information but also for utility issues in the daily work and reporting to the radio a relationship of friendship and companionship - sometimes the only company during the long hours that perform throughout the day. This thesis also seeks to understand the radio connection with the construction of citizenship, given that much of the work of these drivers is reframed by the daily information they receive through radio.Item Outros grandes sertões: cruzamentos entre sertão literário, nação brasileira e fotografia documental(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-11-29) Agostineti, Kaique; Santos, Goiamérico Felício Carneiro dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4360025460772301; Santos, Goiamérico Felício Carneiro dos; Mendonça, Maria Luiza Martins de; Hoff, Tânia Márcia CezarThis work seeks to understand the process of the Brazilian nation in photographic narrative about the Sertão. Thus, we analyze the ideas of authors who wrote about modern nation and those who created narratives that proposes the existence of a nation from the Sertao category. First, we analyze works of national literature as Os Sertões de Euclides da Cunha and Grande Sertão: Veredas by João Guimarães Rosa. Subsequently, we discuss the passage of literary Sertão for photography. We understand the photographic language and medium, for its unique characteristics, generate images that differ from the hinterland described in the pages of national literature. Then we analyze this backcountry in the case of Flávio de Barros’s photographs in Canudos and photographic work Sertões: Luz & Trevas by Maureen Bisilliat. Thus, we launched the proposal for analyzing the intersections between the literary sertão, the modern nation and the documentary photography.Item Arte y comunicação: in(fluxos) de uma poética de (re)xistência em Tatiana Nascimento(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-23) Albuquerque, Juliana Cristina Barbosa; Santos, Goiamérico Felício Carneiro dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4360025460772301; Santos, Goiamérico Felício Carneiro dos; Borges, Rosana Maria Ribeiro; Ribeiro, Ana Elisa FerreiraIn this study we investigate the cultural plots that influence and affect the convergence relations between Art and Communication. Through a research of Cartographic approach to Cultural Studies, it is proposed to analyze the communicational and affective structures present in the poetic production of the artist tatiana nascimento, founder of padê editorial. Theoretically, we trace the relationships between cyberspace and technopoetics that unfold the creation, production and diffusion of the artist's poetics, these spaces were fundamental to the convergence process that the artist's poetics assumes. The relevance of printed books categorizes the potency of (re)existence of this art; while the creation and diffusion in digital media demarcate performance as a primordial act of the artist's aesthetics. To apply this theory, we developed the following methodological steps: (I) documentary research (cartographic becoming in black culture, afro-brazilian literature, poetry written by afro-brazilian women, survey of publishers that publish black authors, mapping of afrobrazilian poets published, and extensive research by the editorial padê). (II) In-depth interview with tatiana nascimento (2019) and (III) final presentation of the cartographic act and analysis of the data collected and presented. In a rhizomatic path that follows the flows constructed through a social cartography in the ways of MartínBarbero (2004), which is established as a theoreticalmethodological perspective stitching aspects of data collection, systematization and research analysis. Aiming to understand the importance of the communicational processes mediated by cultural relations, the poetics of the padê editorial and tatiana nascimento, punctuating the demarcation of affection towards the sensitive universe of poetry, engendering visions of intersectionality, social movements and representativeness signed in processes of identity construction and representation of black culture. As a conclusive way, we hope to understand how the convergence between Arte and Comunicação enabled Tatiana Nascimento's poetics to be configured as a new mediation.Item A história da música sertaneja contada pelo fantástico: uma análise do bem sertanejo(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-04-12) Almeida, Adrielly Campos e; Pavan, Ricardo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1247890099444160; Pavan, Ricardo; Del Bianco, Nélia Rodrigues; Ferreira , Gustavo Alves AlonsoBem Sertanejo is an attraction of the tv show “Fantástico” that proposes to tell the history of Brazilian country music. Michel Teló is the presenter of the series and invites the public to embark, along with him, on a journey that will retrace the path traveled by the genre, from its origins to the present day, trying to understand how the Brazilian country music is renewed. For this, he gathered, in environments of their respective daily lives, a group of Brazilian country music singers representing different times and talked with them about their life trajectories going through the history of the country music. The conversations were stitched together by information presented by Teló and the journalists of Fantástico, complemented by archive images. This research aimed to navigate this trip, in order to observe and analyze how the history of Brazilian country music is currently told through the series. In the baggage, as a source of information and object of comparison, were the itineraries left by the scholars who have already traveled along this path, and the theoretical contribution of Cultural Studies, which helped to understand better the cultural relations that permeate the genre. At the end of the investigation, through a content analysis, it was possible to infer that Bem Sertanejo followed different paths from those that had been traced by traditional authors like Waldenyr Caldas (1977, 1987) and Rosa Nepomuceno (1999) and approximated to what was traced by Gustavo Alonso (2011, 2015a), but without, however, problematizing the conflicts that involve the genre and its representatives. Thus the story of country music told by the series exhibits a sense of linearity and continuity between the representatives and especially between the idea of tradition and modernity that does not fully reflect the historical reality of the genre but helps to reframe it. It is also in line with popular and mass cultural understandings proposed by Cultural Studies, valuing popular practices as ways of life and, perceiving cultural consumption as a relation of recognition and mediation, as highlighted by Martín-Barbero (1997) and García -Canclini (2011, 1995).Item O dividual feminino a partir do filme-ensaio Elena (2012): uma noção traçada de forma ensaística em diálogo com diversas mulheres(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-08-24) Almeida, Letícia Benevides Araújo; Fernandes, Ana Rita Vidica; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9011537191118959; Santos, Alexandre Tadeu dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8783109007334551; Santos, Alexandre Tadeu dos; Fernandes, Ana Rita Vidica; Coca, Adriana Pierre; Prysthon, Angela Freire; Satler, Lara LimaThis is my first essay. An attempt to find myself from a thinking-essayistic-affective writing. Coming into contact with the essay through the cinema has revived in me the desire to question myself and the world around me. In this writing, I joined eight women, Ana, Cecília, Dandara, Diana, Ket, Laura, Letícia (me), Pollyana and Virna, my affective subjects. Collectively, we thought about feminine issues based on the visualization of the essay-film Elena, directed by Brazilian filmmaker Petra Costa. We held two online meetings in which we presented images (photographs, cinematographic scenes, poetry, lesbopoesies, short stories, illustrations, paintings) that appeared as we watched Elena. With these images in hand, I began to walk the path in order to think about my problem-issue: the possibility of extending Deleuze's concept of the dividual by taking the feminine as a perspective. To this end, I brought the images of my affective subjects closer to blackboards and made visual montages inspired by Abby Warburg's Atlas Mnemosyne. In the gaps, traces, ashes that these approximations left, we perceive a plural, fluid, collective feminine, which is built from our occupations with the world. We realized that the affective essay methodology created here allowed our experiences to be exposed and seen as important, as dividual. We have seen that it is possible to think of the feminine dividual, which contemplates all the particularity of becoming a woman. My intention is not to exhaust this study, but to create others from this reflection. The feminine dividual is an open concept and can be judged, refuted, considered or be wrong.Item Todo mundo odeia o Chris: performatividade e vulnerabilidade do corpo negro à linguagem midiática(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-02-15) Almeida, Ludmila Pereira de; Santos, Goiamérico Felício Carneiro dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/436002546077230; Santos, Goiamérico Felício Carneiro dos; Moraes, Ângela Teixeira de; Dias, Luciana de OliveiraThe main objective of this research is to discuss how to configure the language and communication practices performed in the sitcom Todo mundo odeia o Chris (2006). We'll make use of the contributions of the metapragmatic function and metadiscursive schemes (SIGNORINI, 2008) about how the process of social difference and, consequently, of body marker tiers are legitimized communicative practices. This process, articulated to the historical events of ritual acts of speech (AUSTIN, 1998; PEIRANO, 2002; DORNELLES, 2002), produces discourses which effect the intelligibility of the bodies with signs of differentiation, considering that this is a basic construction in the perpetuation of the coloniality of knowledge and power (QUIJANO, 2005) that shapes the way the world is read by an epistemology that regulates and hierarquizes differences. The text-speech Todo mundo odeia o Chris, being translated/dubbed (MARTINS & AMORIN, 2013) producing the trace of the compulsory black diaspora (SANSONE, 2003; GILROY, 2001), is reentextualized from the local-global repertoire (MIGNOLO, 2003) of the brazilian translator, like the language can be used to perpetuate, architect and ritualize normalizing discourses for the control, addressing and notification of bodies (BUTLER, 2003; 1997; PINTO, 2002; 2013a; 2013b). Such actions make the black body vulnerable to acts of naming and violence that historically subordinate them. For this reason, the media narratives (SILVERSTONE, 2002), by providing mediated experiences about the world by the writing of the scenario of signification, enable T.M.O.C to charge the spirituality of the humor (BERGSON, 2001; SALES JR., 2006) via poetic strategies in the exercise of the language (BAUMAN & BRIGGS, 2006) and act against the dominant ideology. The black body is a sign still segregated and undervalued in the context of coloniality/modernity/globalization/State in the Americas, what constitutes a transterritorial fight that specifies in diferent locations while playing the role of dominant forces. So, when T.M.O.C shows a narrative that not only inserts the black body into visibility but do it in a reflexive and critical form with the metapragmatic action, it contradicts the cordiality, the cultural communicability and the not-said that directs the brazilian situation with a neurosis born of itself (GONZALEZ, 1984).Item Representação social das pessoas vivendo com HIV/AIDS na mídia impressa(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-03-31) Almeida, Marília de Almeida e; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1812629763554762; Tuzzo, Simone Antoniaci; Nascimento, Dilene Raimundo doThe objective of this study is to understand how the social representation of People Living with HIV / AIDS in the print media has been constructed and whether this representation has persisted over the last three decades. The study is based on the Theory of Social Representations, proposed by Moscovici, which consists of understanding how the construction and permanence of concepts formed about something or someone from social interactions takes place. Eight cover stories published by O Estado de S. Paulo newspaper in 1985 and 2015, independent of the month in which they were published, were analyzed, with four reports per year. The eight texts were analyzed according to the Critical Discourse Analysis (ADC), published by Norman Fairclough. It was concluded that the social representation of People Living with HIV / AIDS in print media in 1985 is of homosexual men, promiscuous and guilty of their condition and that this representation has not changed over the decades, remaining in 2015 as being of homosexual men, promiscuous and guilty for their condition.Item A gestão estratégica de informações em mídias sociais virtuais como vantagem competitiva para microempresas(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-05-15) Alves, Antônio Cândido Barbosa; Riascos, Sônia Cruz; Gomes, Suely Henrique de Aquino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3007925506666700; Gomes, Suely Henrique de Aquino; Riascos, Sônia Cruz; Rezende, Laura Vilela R.; Oliveira, Tiago Mainieri deThis research has focused on the role and profile of social media towards the approach of strategic management of information within the scope of the incubation program of UFG for the decision making process. From this paper it was possible to recognize the media inter-relationships in the context of information management by analyzing the steps of identifying, prospecting, selection, value addition, storage, dissemination and feedback system. This study aimed to verify whether microenterprises carry out the strategic management of information available on virtual social media to get competitive advantage. The theoretical basis was provided by large areas of management and social communication embracing respectively the entrepreneurs, marketing, strategic information management and virtual social medias. Another related field of knowledge, Information Science, also brought contributions to the study. This was an exploratory research, since there is no indication in Brazilian literature from the perspective of the research undertaken. From a quantitative analysis, a structured survey was developed with open and closed questions which were then examined according to the literature review carried out. The constituents of this study consists of eighteen (18) microenterprises which are participants in PROINE (Programa de Incubação da Universidade Federal de Goiás – a business incubation program), and fifteen ( 15 ) respondents showed outstanding results indicating that 44 % of respondents use social media as a virtual source of information, also 73 % use the information from these media for professional purposes and 100 % of them consider important the use of virtual social media to assist them in making decisions regarding the management of their companies. However 38 % use it sporadically and 31 % claim that in general, the information helps. In addition, It was observed that there is no specific use of any strategic information management softwares. It was identified that respondents do not have a systematic or selection tool to track and store this information, leaving it only for personal knowledge. This research also suggested the importance given by microenterprises that have insightful administrators who are willing to carry out an administrative and strategic communication management and use the information derived from virtual social media in order to have some form of competitive advantage. It was found, however, strong systems-theoretic entanglement of the treated areas in order to provide scientific, technological and innovative in dealing with the information to generate competitive advances. Therefore, It has been established a solid systems-theoretic entanglement of the treated areas with the aim to provide scientific, technological and innovative advances in the treatment of information to generate competitiveness.Item Álbum de família nos perfis criados para filhos(as) no instagram: uma encenação em três atos (2018-2019)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-01-20) Alves, Rafael Delfino Rodrigues; Fernandes, Ana Rita Vidica; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9011537191118959; Fernandes, Ana Rita Vidica; Borges, Maria Elizia; Silva, Ademir Luiz daThis research aims to put the family album under discussion from the perspective of staging. Instagram is the media chosen to materialize this study, based on profiles of babies created by their mothers and fathers in this social media. First, the job is dedicated to presenting how the family album is constituted in its printed form, later on digitally and now as digital online. Theoretically, the relationship between media, communication and culture is presented, to discuss: the communicational processes of photography, specifically the family portrait; the different media that involve the production and placement of a photograph (primary, secondary and tertiary) and; the cultural habits associated with photographic staging (presented in three acts - body, photography and Instagram). To apply this theory, a universe of twenty Instagram profiles, online digital albums of babies, are selected, observed and cross-linked for a first understanding of this phenomenon in the years 2018 and 2019. In a second stage, six profiles of these twenty are selected so that their managers could be interviewed in depth to understand the acts of staging themselves in three acts: first act (primary media) staging the body; second act (secondary media) staging in photography; third act (tertiary media) the staging of Instagram and; the extra act (particularities) of each profile. Thus, the images are not analyzed only in themselves, since texts and speeches of their own creators are associated. As a conclusive guideline, it is expected to understand how the photographic staging survives and creates new layers of meaning for the family portrait, adding thickness to a culture of the image that is carried out in three acts on Instagram.Item Fotografias do senado na Wikipédia: circulação de imagens e construção coletiva de memória(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-12-12) Amaral, Tadeu Sposito do; Martins, Dalton Lopes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3774617443225038; Martins, Dalton Lopes; Fernandes, Ana Rita Vidica; Martins, Luciana ConradoBrazilian Federal Senate promotes the photographic coverage of legislative activity and events of institutional interest, uses these photos in its communication system and publishes them in image bank, so that the material can be used freely. Some of this material is used to illustrate Wikipedia articles, in a phenomenon of appropriation and resignification. These photographs contribute to the process of building public collective memory about the Senate itself, the Parliament and even the Brazilian nation. This study deals with this dynamics of reuse and the decentralized process of memory construction, once concentrated in the hands of the State itself, scenario that changes with the advent and popularization of digital technologies. With the perspective that this memory is one of the elements of the exercise of citizenship, this research studies photos not looking at them, but at the context: where they come from, where they were originally published, and where they where used. To do so, all the images produced by the Senate News Agency's Photography Service published on Wikipedia until October 2019 were identified, so that the object of research could be reached: the Senate's descriptions of the photographs and the articles in the which were used. The methodology adopted is based on Bardin’s content analysis. The texts accompanying the 1219 images were analyzed, as well as the contents of the 2112 Wikipedia. entries that displayed them, distributed in 90 versions of the encyclopedia. It was found that this material has great relevance in the composition of articles that relate to the Senate and the Brazilian State, and also composes pages that have no relation to the institution, thanks to the characteristics of images and the way content is produced and used on the internet.Item Ensino do telejornalismo em Goiás: Formação acadêmica como garantia da qualidade da informação telejornalística comprometida com o exercício da cidadania?(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2011-05-05) ANDRADE, Tatiana Carilly Oliveira; TEMER, Ana Carolina Rocha Pessoa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2424054335258827This work investigates the teaching of television (TV) journalism in the state of Goiás, from the analysis of the course structure in four private faculties and also in that employed in the Faculty of Communication and Library at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG, Goiânia GO). This is a pioneering research work because there is no published related work focusing upon the context of the state of Goiás. The motivation for this work is based on the fact that TV journalism is considered to be an extreme powerful means of communication in the information society. TV journalism acts in harmony with other subsystems in the development of a social reality , hence it can be seen as an ally in the search for citizenship and a democratic society. In our study we verified whether these educational institutions are educating TV journalists capable of producing high quality information, which enables viewers to exercise their citizenship. In order to do this, the teaching course projects (i.e., the curriculum and curse plans of TV journalism courses) were analyzed through their consistency, scope and effectiveness in the educational process of these professionals. The adopted methodology allowed for relevant discussions and conclusions regarding the quality of information produced by the TV journalist with regard to the citizenship issue, about the production process of news on TV, and also about the education of the future professional who will work on TV journalism. The main basis for the development of the study was related work of relevant authors in the area of Social Communication and Education, such as Paulo FreireItem Idosos e cidadania: um olhar sobre uma construção mediada pelas novas tecnologias de informação e comunicação(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-07-13) Araújo, Claudimiro Lino de; Oliveira, Tiago Mainieri de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4332108741473825; Oliveira, Tiago Mainieri de; Freitas , Luiz Antônio Signates; Marques, Ângela Cristina SalgueiroThis work discusses the current relationship of the elderly with new information and communication technologies, which has possible reflect in a condition of their citizenship status. The intention is to study a certain communication habit of people aged 60 years or older, legally defined as elderly in Brazil and investigate an characteristic of contemporaneity: the sharing of virtual and digital contents through platforms or devices known as smartphones, notebooks, PCs, tablets or phablets with access to the world wide web. Specifically, an attempt is made to evaluate how technological supports can contribute to the formation of contents related to citizenship, to the rights of the elderly, to the image of old age or your social representation. For this, a qualitative approach is used. Is used here a content analysis, theory traditionally described by Laurence Bardin. And, above all, it seeks to enrich, through the present research, the approaches related to old age with a look from the field of communication. The theoretical course addresses the context in which the notion of old age is inserted and emphasizes the communication as a foundation for citizenship. The results of the empirical research demonstrated the presence, even small, of contents, considered as of “civic engagement”, presumed here as a condition for a transformation of the citizenship status of the elderly. Featured for the results of the Communication category, identificated in content analysis, for its importance to helping the elderly to get out their isolation, of their loneliness and, often, even a more serious state of depression. The Search category indicated the importance of the smartphone to the elderly lives providing to they a knowlege that they didn´t have. In the Intergenerational Relationship category, the possibility of re-signification of the relationships between the young and the elderly was perceived. Work and Political Participation were categories that indicated a greater proximity of the subject of “civic engagement” but did not came out so much, in the material collected. Self-Help and Humor categories appeared as types of important content in the daily life of the elderly when they using the social networks. The data show that, for the sample, in that social contexts inserted, the New Information and Communications Technologies (NICTs) exerts influence on the social reinsertion and public visibility of the elderly, incipient civic engagement as well as their social capital. Despite the problems of the digital virtual environment, this space offers the elderly or more people a way of breaking the isolation that many experience, reducing the perception or feeling of loneliness through the relationship with people close and distant or a promotion of new contacts of friendship. In this way, the internet, for the elderly, is more than a source of income, service, learning or entertainment research. For this public, the Internet and the NICTs can offer the rescue of the old friends, promote new and strengthen intergenerational family ties.Item Eu, marca: a construção da identidade virtual e a narrativa instantânea dos 140 caracteres(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-06-27) Araújo, Mariana de Paiva; Santos, Goiamérico Felício Carneiro dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4360025460772301; Santos, Goiamérico Felício Carneiro dos; Temer, Ana Carolina; Tondato, MárciaThis study aims to understand the process of identity construction in virtual social networking site Twitter. Based on discourse analysis, the research seeks to understand what are the strategies used by social actors in the appropriation of social networking sites as a space for individual representation. At first, we used the netnography, the observations involving participant and nonparticipant alternately, according to the needs encountered throughout the process dissertative. Thereafter began the work of cutting o f the object by selecting the profile to be analyzed from the perspective of the French school of discourse analysis. For it was possible to analyze the building individualized, with no comparison between actors, we sought to further cuts in the third month of the same profile, from January, February and March 2012. The conclusions identify the crossing of this process of individual representation by discursive strategies aimed at the consumer - the transformation of people into subjects consumables. The speech is no longer something natural and happens to be something built in order to make the identity represented there target of interest of other actors in the network. So the identity is established as a virtual node potential to be consumed collectively.Item Os ritmos tradicionais nos tambores do tocantins: constituições identitárias e processos culturais(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-07-23) Araújo, Wendy Almeida de; Gomes, Suely Henrique de Aquino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3007925506666700; Gomes, Suely Henrique de Aquino; Mendonça, Maria Luisa; Berardo, Rosa MariaThe guiding theme of this research is the appropriation of traditional rhythms of Tocantins on a percussive music project called Tocantins Drums. The empirical corpus is a set of rhythms: sússia, catira, drum, roda and congo. The choise was motivated because they have cultural reference in the State. The goal was identify the Tocantins Drums group formation and appropriate. For this purpose was achieved, it was proposed specifically: understand the importance of the relationship between culture and communication and subaltern culture and mass culture; identify which group's proposal and how the rhythms are worked; understand how to constitute the identities of the group, to identify the elements and belonging of the project participants; verify that the more traditional groups are recognized in the representation of the Drums of Tocantins and realize what the differences between them. The assumptions were that participants in the group Drums of Tocantins developed from a traditional style, but incorporating elements of mass culture, its own forms and styles of cultural expression and acquired a positive stance in relation to the rhythms and music critics as massive , which could result in the construction of their identity. After the conclusion of the proposed research, it was found that not exacly those factors constitute the identity of the group, but a greater bond, the social inclusion.Item A resistência narrada em rede: o feminismo por hashtag #justiçaporMariFerrer(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-08-29) Arruda, Isabela Lefol; Cassiano, Kátia Kelvis; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1461975180324090; Silva, Magno Luiz Medeiros da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8829860934484429; Silva, Magno Luiz Medeiros da; Oliveira, Tiago Mainieri de; Machado, Liliane Maria Macedo; Lozano, Kátia Kelvis CassianoThe struggle of women for rights and to recognize themselves as citizens is extensive. With digitally mediated technologies, new expressions of resistance emerge, such as cyberfeminism. Several cyberactivist manifestations have used hashtags as part of their discursive strategy. The cases concerning the mobilization of women became known as hashtag feminism (hashtag feminism). This is a phenomenon that has multiplied and repeated itself around the world, including Brazil. Through hashtags, Different narratives are created, merging individual stories into a larger, connective narrative that reverberates through different digital media and can reach the streets. To understand the new forms of mobilization and political action contained in this phenomenon, the present research proposes to analyze the case of the young Mariana Ferrer and the consequences of the hashtag #JustiçaPorMariFerrer, which circulated on Twitter. The object of study also raises questions about how the public and private meet in this type of movement, tensioned both by the feminist vision of 'the personal is political', and by the spectacularization of private life that occurs on the internet. The theoretical discussion is based on authors such as Castells (2003; 2017), Clark (2016) Papacharissi (2002; 2011; 2015), Polletta (1998, 2009), Young (2002), Sibilia (2008), Fraser (1985;1990 ), between others. The analysis methodology adopted was Bardin's Content Analysis (2011), through categorical analysis, supported by KDD procedures, by the large volume of data extracted from social networks, with the help of software such as Power BI and Iramuteq. The study's main objective is to understand the narratives of feminist resistance, which are built in the digital environment. In this way, we seek to analyze how the movement is built over time, the messages that build its narrative and how they can have political consequences. The analysis evidenced the solidarity between the actors and the repudiation directed to the official institutions of the State, in addition to revealing characteristics of the cyberfeminist movement today and its duality between the personal and public spheres, with the formation of affective publics.Item Cidadania como mercadoria? A legitimação do status cidadão através do consumo de livros(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-06-28) Baltazar, Caroline Campanha; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1812629763554762; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; Jordão, Janaína Vieira de Paula; Quintão, Ronan TorresIn this work we study the relationship between citizenship and consumption. However, in addition to consumption as a citizen practice, our research sought to investigate whether books, as consumer goods, that is, merchandise, also act in the exercise of citizenship. Our theoretical contribution on consumption articulated in the citizenship counted on Canclini (1999) and Demo (1995), both authors identify in the consumption an act of the citizen practice. The first highlights participation in the consumption process. The second author works on the concept of emancipatory citizenship. In this concept citizenship is exercised when the individual breaks with political poverty and, thus, the citizen takes for himself the understanding of the exercise of citizenship. As a consequence of this 'internal' process consumption appears as a possibility to exercise citizenship, but in this context the market occupies a middle position, not end. In this way, the citizen makes use of the market to heal his needs as citizens. To contextualize the book as a commodity, we go through consumer studies, using Miller (2013) to understand objects within material culture, in addition to Douglas and Isherwood (2004) who also discuss objects and their meanings. The authors point out that the meaning of the commodity is given by those who use them and that these meanings are created to contextualize us within our reality. Therefore, we analyze the book as a commodity, according to its utilitarian, commercial and sociocultural meaning (SANTAELLA; NOTH, 2009). In order to study the phenomenon we chose as the locus of research the subscribers of the book club TAG-LITERARY EXPERIENCES, the choice of the respondents was for convenience. We used three types of research to build this work: bibliographic research, semi-structured interviews and documentary analysis. For the analysis of the data collected, we used the technique of Collective Subject Discourse Analysis (DSC) (LEFEVRE and LEFEVRE, 2009). The results explained that, for respondents, consumption is a way of exercising citizenship, and that books, as commodities consumed, are means for the exercise of it, due to its relation with education, information, culture, development of critical thinking , besides being also a consumer good, which as such is part of the economic process of consumption, which is inserted in the citizen's practice .Item A inveja nos filmes publicitários da Fiat e Boticário utilizando o contexto de classes sociais semelhantes(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-01-24) Barbosa, Karen Muzany Pereira Dias; Jordão, Janaína Vieira de Paula; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9936127174016398; Fernandes, Ana Rita Vidica; Tondato, Márcia Perencin; Barbosa, Karen Muzany Pereira DiasThis dissertation was intended to analyze the envious indications contained in some advertising films in order to identify how the narrative presented indicates a perspective of similar social classes. Innumerable questions guide this exploratory beginning when it comes to the activities inherent to consumption in modern and postmodern life. Communication in its cultural context works with information collected by the behavioral aspects identified in its possible consumers, so the media works in the perspective of these social representations to be able to send their messages. From an economic point of view, many ideas emerge to originate these elements of visibility of the social use of consumer goods such as conspicuous consumption theory (VEBLEN, 1983). Several studies work on consumption from the point of view of distinction or to satisfy narcissistic desires, as in Bourdieu (2017) or Lipovetsky (1989) respectively, but analysis on the subject who has already consumed predominates. This research proposes to change the look for the observer individual, whose consumption may be viable or not. To this end, a bibliographic study was carried out on the concepts of each proposed phenomenon to later observe the advertising films through frames that were collected. Thus, an image analysis was carried out from the points of similarity between the campaigns, such as, for example, the bias of the skewed look (ALBERONI, 1996), based on the grouping of images entitled Atlas Mnemosyne that was created by Aby Walburg and used by Didi-Huberman (2013). Finally, it was possible to understand the narrative worked on in the ad and identify the context of envy from the point of view of similar social classes through the acquisition of durable and non-durable consumer goods.Item Os bastidores da notícia de ciência: levantamento do comportamento informacional de jornalistas em Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-08-27) Barros Junior, Roldão Alves de; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9315618025567235; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Moraes, Ângela Teixeira De; Valério, Erinaldo DiasThis dissertation presents the survey of the Information Behavior of journalists working on online media in Goiânia, capital of the State of Goiás, in the composition of news, reports, articles and other journalistic products related to science, which is here delimited as scientific research. We bring the path that guides the study from the indication of the methodological design adopted, the detailed description of the research problem and its justification, a presentation and explanation of the survey produced and its results linked to the literature already inserted on the subject. A literature review on journalists' Human Information Behaviour studies is also made from studies corrected in national and international databases, in addition to deepening the definition of the concept of Human Information Behavior from the general theory systematized by Wilson (2016) besides with the Kuhlthau Uncertainty Principle (2004). The survey results indicate, among other things, that factors such as professional seniority and work environment influence the behavior of journalists in the search, research, use, validation and sharing of information about science. It was also identified that professionals have both active and passive behavior in the search and management of information. Lastly, the author claims that scientific institutions and researchers design referral mechanisms with local journalists and that reflection on Human Information Behaviour reaches the curriculum of Journalism courses in the country, making future generations of professionals have greater capacity for success in the dissemination of scientific information with quality and safety, without losing sight of the ability to communicate in an accessible language, a characteristic of Journalism - and an advantage of it - that seeks popular adhesion.
