Resumo

The work exposed here aims to analyze the use of hashtag “#maesolo” on the social network Instagram, seeking to observe the narratives created from this use and the emergence of new dynamics of virtual communication related to the use of this term. Exploratory analyzes were performed on the set of data extracted from Instagram, through the application of data mining techniques, presenting the occurrence and relevance of the term under different approaches. We sought to understand how the subtitles created in publications represent a place of interaction and identity formation in the virtual environment, in addition to reflecting the contemporary trend where the new possibilities of communicating have changed the way people relate and share their experiences. experiences. We sought to understand the practices and representations that shape the condition of being a mother and a woman in accordance with the theories proposed by Badinter (1985). Within the scope of the qualitative approach, the research used Netnography as a method of investigating data in order to analyze the behavior of individuals and social groups on the Internet and the dynamics of these groups in the online and offline environments.
