Resumo

The research presented here is linked to the line of research Training, Teacher Professionalization and Educational Work, of the Graduate Program in Education at the Federal University of Goiás. The object of study is the academic production of the Midwest Region on the relations between children's literature and written language at school. There is a considerable number of researches that investigate such relationships and highlight the possibilities and impasses of pedagogical work with literature in the school space, with regard to the development of written language. The problem that guides our research can be summarized as follows: How has academic production in the Midwest region addressed work with children's literature and its relations with written language in the school space? From this problem, our general objective is to apprehend how the academic production of the Midwest region analyzes the complex relationships between children's literary text and written language at school, hoping to contribute to the organization of the pedagogical work of teachers and literacy teachers Portuguese language. As specific objectives, we seek to analyze the socio historical development of the relationships between children's literature and the school space and discuss how children's literature, from a historical-cultural perspective, can contribute to the child's psychological development. In order to achieve these objectives, we conducted a state of the art or state of knowledge type research, of a bibliographic character. Sixteen dissertations and theses were identified and analyzed that address the relationship between children's literature and the development of reading and writing in the Early Years of Elementary Education in the Graduate Programs in Education and Teaching in the Midwest region between the years 2008 and 2018. The analysis of this production allowed us to understand the importance of pedagogical work with children's literary text in the school space, in view of the great humanizing and formative potential that literature has. The analyzes were based on the Historical-Cultural Theory of human development, mainly in the studies of Vigotski (1999, 2003 and 2014) on art, literary text and the development of child psychism, seeking to make relationships between this perspective and the authors' thoughts and Brazilian / Brazilian authors, whose research on children's literature and pedagogical work with literary text at school helped us to reflect on the research problem and achieve its goals, such as Zilberman (2003), Cademartori (1986) Coelho (1991a and 1991b) , Lajolo and Zilberman (1985), Silva (2007), Mortatti and Oliveira (2015), Aires (2011), Mortatti (2014), Hunt (2010), Silva (2008), Silveira and Bonin (2013), Oliveira (2014) ), Lajolo (2010), Souza (2013), Aguiar (2001), Turchi (2004) and Kirchof and Bonin (2016).
