Análise de disposição a pagar pela radiografia panorâmica e tomografia computadorizada de feixe cônico no tratamento com implantes para espaço desdentado unitário posterior. 2023. 58 f. Dissertação (Mestrado em Odontologia) - Faculdade de Odontologia, Universidade Federal de Goiás, Goiânia, 2023.http://repositorio.bc.ufg.br/tede/handle/tede/14367Planning an implant rehabilitation requires a detailed diagnosis, especially in terms of bone quantity and quality, which makes imaging tests indispensable in the diagnosis and surgical planning of implant placement. These tests have costs that, in most cases, are the responsibility of the patient. Economic evaluations of PAD can contribute to the assessment of patient preference, in financial terms. Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the patient's willingness to pay (WTP) for panoramic radiography and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) for implant rehabilitation in a single posterior edentulous space. Methods: This is a crosssectional study of economic analysis nested within a clinical trial carried out by the Nucleus for Research and Prosthesis and Implant (NPPI). Participants were recruited through non-probabilistic convenience sampling and asked about the amount they are willing to pay for each of the exams. Sociodemographic information was collected. Data were analyzed descriptively and through bivariate tests. Results: Forty individuals participated in the study. The median DBH values for panoramic radiography and CBCT were R$ 75.00 (minimum-maximum 0.0 – 150.00) and R$ 300.00 (0.0 – 500.00), respectively. There was no significant difference in DAP when comparing the values between the categories of sociodemographic variables, perception of oral health, dental concern (p<0.05). The correlation between the participant's income and DBH by panoramic radiography (rho 0.091, p=0.575) and by CBCT (rho -0.014, p=0.929) were not statistically significant. Conclusion: The socioeconomic factors studied did not influence the participants' DBH values for panoramic radiography for CBCT. DBH variability by CBCT was greater than DAP variability by panoramic radiography. Studies of PAD by imaging exams are needed to provide scientific evidence about the patient's perception of the costs of these exams and to guide clinical practice. Of Willingness To Pay For Panorami Radio Graphy And One Beam Omputerized Tomography In Tre Atment With Implants For Posterior Unitary Edentant SpaceDissertação
