The study proposes the development of a theoretical–conceptual diagram that synthesizes the essential dynamics of this model, providing a framework for its understanding and implementation. Adopting a qualitative and exploratory approach, the research employs a multi-method strategy combining literature review, Systematic Literature Review (SLR), document analysis, netnography, and graphic synthesis. The findings indicate that responsive cities, by integrating citizen feedback with data collected through sensors, enhance urban design and decision-making processes. They differ from smart cities by prioritizing open platforms, online laboratories, and publicly accessible data, thereby strengthening the collective construction of urban commons.
