Such environments are sensitive and important for biodiversity, water regulation and microclimate and in Goiânia, capital of the state of Goiás, partially protected in urban parks, but the process of implementation of the parks are historically accompanied by intense real estate pressure and waterproofing, which affect the hydrological dynamics of the paths. The objective of this research was to evaluate and analyze the geoecological changes in the use and occupation of the landscape in the Buritis stream basin, which is characterized by presenting in its source a remnant of humid areas that wasprivate transformed into Buritis Sebastião Júlio de Aguiar Municipal Park. The methodological procedures involved bibliographical research, cartographic mapping, analysis of dynamics of use in satellite images and technical visits to classify land use and cover and evaluate environmental impacts and elaborate the geoecological profile of the Buritis stream basin.
