Through the observation of documentary sources, recorded in textbook discourses, we aim to understand how woman are represented in textbooks, and the relationships and powers inherent in the narrative and iconographic discourse of textbooks. It reflects on the permanencies and ruptures in the androcentric character in didactic narratives.
