Os sistemas atmosféricos atuantes e responsáveis pela gênese das chuvas no estado de Goiás e no Distrito Federal

Abstract

Based on the Geographic Climatology approach, the main objective of this paper is to quantify the performance of atmospheric systems in the state of Goiás and the Federal District, and their participation in the genesis of rainfall, using the standard years habitual (2011), dry (2007) and wet (2009). These systems were identified from synoptic charts, images from the GOES meteorological satellite and the Climanálise bulletin (CPTEC). The identification of rainy days was based on daily rainfall estimates of the TRMM. Is noted that in the usual regime there is a balanced action between the atmospheric systems operating in the region (mEc, mTa, mPa and SACs), on the other hand, the dry regime shows an increase in the performance of the mTa, while the wet regime reflects an increase in the performance of the mEc. Regarding the genesis of rainfall, in the usual regime mEc corresponded to 41% of rainy days, followed closely by SACZ (36%). In the dry regime there is a greater participation of mTa (19%) in rainfall formation, whereas in the rainy season there is a considerable increase in mEc participation, present in 60% of rainy days in the year.
