Resumo

We live in the now called the Information Age, where an increasing flow of information is produced and disseminated at all times. With the help of information technology and communication, such outbreaks have occurred so fast, breaking numerous barriers. To survive in this society today titled Information Society, it becomes necessary for individuals, dealing with information, develop abilites and competencies, all called information literacy. So with the extra information available in various media gives rise to the need to prepare professional librarians, who will be future users and intermediaries in information resources, thus the main objective of this study is to verify the information literacy of students of Library of the Federal University of Goiás, graduates of the course in 2010, expressed through the development of completion of course work. We analyzed 5 (five) dissertations written in 2010 and used qualitative research method and content analysis. It appears that most TCCs achieved positive results in the analysis, which shows that students acted in accordance with the information literacy and the Federal University of Goiás disciplines and provides the necessary inputs so that they could develop information literacy.
