Resumo
Several studies about information behavior was published which aim identify and discuss patters of information behavior in different fields of knowledge and involve concepts such as needs, research and uses information as well the factors that influence. This study aimed to identify the information-seeking behavior of students from first and second year high school regular State College Miriam Ferreira Benchimol Ferreira of morning and evening shifts to meet yours information needs. Research is classified as a descriptive and exploratory approach to obtain quantitative data and the questionnaire was the instrument used, but before that the literature was performed to center the theme in literature. The results of research showed that the main source of information used by students is the Internet, and the main information needs of them are geared to school activities
