Resumo
Anatomical data of lhe diameters of Esophagus and aorta in canis familliaris. The authors studied the esophageal aota diameters of the dog’s eigth intercostal space level. It was used 48 animals. The mean esophageal diameter found was 17,34 mm for the males and 16,96 mm for the females. The mean aortic diameters was 6,1 mm for the males and 5,8 mm for the females. The correlatíon coeffícient between body weight and diameter of the esophagus was 0,289 for the males and 0,540 for the females. The correlation coeffícient between body weight and aortic diameter was 0,834 for the males and 0,660 for the females.
