Resumo

Under extreme fast conditions, 80 Dipetalogaster máximas were submitted to ingestion of faeces and urine from other triatominae containing epimastigote and trypomastigote evolutive fornis. Experimente were performed in a biological chamber, under controled conditions (temperature=30±l°C, relative umidity of 70±5% and 12 hours photoperiod). Bugs were split in two groups of 40 each. To one, a pool of urine and faeces was offered, and to the other heparinized human blood was added to urine and faeces. Bugs were examined at 30 and 60 days. T.cruzi was found in 2/40 from the first group and in 7/40 from the second group.
