Resumo

Evolutive cycle of Aedes (Stegomyia) aegypti were captured in Itumbiara and Goiânia. The evolutive cycle of A aegypti was studied in order to obtain a larger number of mosquitoes reared in laboratory to use in bioassays and to be able to gel information for their proper control. The mean duration period of A. aegypti was of 5,8 ± 4,0 days. The mcan duration of instars larval stage were 5,5; 4,5; 3,9 and 10,2 days, respectivelly thc l", 2nd, 3rd and 4* instars. The mean pupal period was of 3,1 days. The experiment was performed at 25,3 ± 0,1°C, 65 ± 0,6% of relalive humidity and photoperiod of 12 hours.
