Descornamento plástico em bovinos

Abstract

An easy method is described for cross breed cattle de­horning in field condition. A fusiform skin incision is made around the horn basis followed by its amputation with a blade saw. Skin divulsion and hemostasis were performed after placing a gauze on bone cut sur­face. Skin suture was done with matress suture and ears immo­bilisation was not necessary.
