Resumo
One of the greatest problems in the formatl on of a banana plantation is obtaining healthy shoots in sufficient quanti ty near the chosen site. The cost of transportation, along with the ··price of the shoots, is very high, One solution for this problem is to use bits, This st dy was undertaken to determine the smallest piece of rizoma which could de used in the cultivation of the banana "mar melo" under our existing conditions.
