Contribuição ao conhecimento da biologia do pachymerus nucleorum fabr., 1792 (bruchidae -􀀂coleoptera) em syagrus oleraceae mart, (Palmae)

Abstract

This work is a contrihution to the knoledgement of the biology of PachymePua nucleoPum Fabr. 1792 (_ Bruchi­dae-Coleoptera) in coccus of SyagPua oleraceae Mart{Palmae). Among 16 couples species confine in lahoratory from march 1977 to march 1978, we observed that each female realize a maximum of three posture and the medium posture with 21,18 eggs. The medium period of pré-oviposition is 13 days and incubation period of 15,56 days. he pest present five estages larvae, prêpupapupa and the adults forras, were obtained in laboratory from 6 to 7 months. Mortality index of 33,12\ were observed among larvae, prépupa, pupa and adults species. Also were developed observation in the eggs eh􀀌 racteristics about fecundity, fertility, longevity of male and female and about pest habits.
