Experimento de campo visando ao controle químico da cigarrinha verde empoasca kraemeri (Ross & Moore) em feijoeiro

Resumo

The bean leafuopper (Empoasca kraemeri, Ross & Moore), a common pest of bean crops, is known in many regions in Brazil. ln order to determine the efficiency of clorpyrifos to control the bean lcafhopper, a field experiment was carried out in Goiânia - Goiás state, Brazil. The treatments, and dosage in grams, of active ingredients per ha were: clorpyrifos (288, 384 and 480). metamidophos (600), monocrotophos (400) and an untreated check. The results obtained in this experiment showed that clorpyrifos at the cited dosage, was efficient in controlling the bean leafhopper in bean crops. It was similar to the results of metamidophos and monocrotophos. None ofthe insecticides, at the dosages used, were toxic to the plants.
