Controle químico do thrips tabaci (Lind. 1888) na cultura do alho (allium sativum l.) em Goiás

Resumo

The Thrips tabaci (Lind. 1888) is know as an important pest of garlic plants in many regions in Brazil. ln arder to detennine the efficience of the Netacyfluthrin 125 SC and Protiophos 500 CE to control Thrips tabaci, a field experiment was carried out in Goiânia, State of Goiâs, Brazil. The treatments and dosage ofthe products per hectare were: Betacyfluthrin (3.125 and 6.25g a.i./ha); Protiophos (125.0 and 250.0g a.i.) confronted with Deltamethrin (3.75g a.i./ha.) and untreated check. Evaluations were made at 3, 7, 14 and 21 days after treatment applications, sampling 4 plants in each repetition and counting number of inphs of Thrips found per plant. The results showed that Betacyfluthrin was the best insecticide showing a control efficiency about 91%, at greater dosagem, until 21 days after treatment applications.
