Abstract

This text discusses the individual-society relationship and its impasses from Marx’s and Freud’s contributions. It analyzes the individual’s relationship with himself, with objective reality, the other and work. It postulates the reciprocity of the terms of this relationship and the ideological apparatus that affirms its denial.
