ln order to evaluate the effects of different doses of mineral and organíc fertilizers in agronomic characteristics.oflettuce (Lactuca sativa L. ), anexperiment was canied out ín the district ofRio Verde (GO). The experimental dcs.ígn consisted of nine treatments (combination ofthe leveis O kg.ha·1, 18.500 kg.ha-1 and 36.900 kg.ha·1 of organic fertilizer with leveis O kg.ha·1, 870 -ha-1 and 1.750 kg.ha·1 of mineral fertilizer), and 3 repetitions. Weight ofthefreshmaten(màmt"1), weight ofthe matter inevaporates {g.p1ant·1), mattertextevaporatcs (%)>Widthandlcmgth ofthe leaf ofthe aeríal part ofplants were evaluated. The.employmentnfthedose ofl8.500 kg.ha·' of organic fertilizer and 1. 7 50-kg.ha"1 ofmineralfertilizer were the ones that provided the best productions, low financia] coslaudcontributed enormouslyto most of the evaluated characteristic.
