Resumo
The article tries to identify the historical roots of agrarian
Brazil and its relationship among the peasant traditional population and
the violence they suffer on Brazilian rural space. The paper particularly
identify conflicts, violated actions and the struggle for agrarian reform in the
period before and after the civil-military government. The conflicts occurs
because of possessions and use of land. Two project was in dispute. One
project defending the commercialization of agricultural production. The
other, proposing the family work. The source of the informations used on
this paper were: a) Peasant Thruth Commission reports: b) Pastoral of Land
Commission database. The analysis was elaborated by historical events,
newspapers, and academic papers.
