Resistência a insetos em populações de soja com diferentes proporções gênicas de genitores resistentes

Resumo

The genetic resistance to insects should be considered in soybean breeding programs. With this objective, different populations were evaluated regarding the resistance to stink bugs and grain yield. The experimental material involving different populations was synthesized from crossings among resistant (IAC-100 and IAC-17) and susceptible (FT-Estrela and Emgopa-316) genotypes. As far as individual plants are concerned, different genetic proportions of the resistant parentals were evaluated in the crossings. The following traits were evaluated: pod felling period (PEG), foliar retention (RF), stained seeds percentage (PSM), grain damage percentile index (IPDV), time to maturity (NDM), plant height at maturity (APM), agronomic value (VA) and grain yield (PG). There was a significant statistical difference (P<0.01) among the populations for all the evaluated traits. The IAC-100 cultivar and its derived populations stand out with regard to the resistance to stink bugs (PEG, RF, PSM, IPDV and PCS). Populations involving resistant cultivar IAC-17 can be considered as supe-rior for most of the traits. The population synthesized from the quadruple hybrids presented the largest grain yield.
