Aurelius Prudentius Clemens wrote Psychomachia in fourth century AD. In this work, appropriated some com- mon characteristics the epic genre to produce an particular epic, in which virtues and vices anthropomorphized battle it out for dominance of the hu- man soul. Becomes interesting to see how this author selects some charac- teristics to generate an epic work of proselytizing character.
