Resumo
In the presente article we seek to make an comparative analysis among the
military manuals Stratagems and Roman Military Institutions, written respectively by
Frontinus (centuries I and II A. D) and by Vegetius (centuries IV and V A.D). In this
analysis we are interested in find references that corroborating the hypothesis of a belic
tradition that united the different military manuals greek and romans writers. For this,
we care about the way that the writers defended the discipline inside the roman military
body and how this discipline was related with others roman characteristics essentials.
