Resumo
This study sought to examine, in exclusivity, the production of industrial tomatoes in the
State of Goiás State, discussing the history, evolution of planting areas, production volumes as well as the
outlook for the productive chain of the tomato and its economic importance. Tomato historically has
stood out among the products the chain of fruit and vegetables
