Resumo
The poetic universe of João Cabral de Melo Neto is one of travels and travellers.
The peculiar way in which this poet explore these themes in his poetic work
contributes to widening their scope giving them new dimensions. In view of
this, our study aims to examine different dimensions of the travel experience in this author’s works which illustrates, in an exemplary manner, the broad scope
that the notion of travel may have in literature.
