Resumo
Toe article is an introductory and didactical study of Hume' s conception of the human understanding. Toe first part deals with the empiricist tradition to which Hume belongs, the second part summarizes the main aspects of his theory of the human understanding and the last part presents some considerations related to the role of language and judgment in this theory.
