Captura de adultos de Liogenys fuscus (Coleoptera: Melolonthidae) com armadilha luminosa em área sob sistema de plantio direto

Resumo

The adults' of the insect Liogenys fuscus behavior Blanchard (Coleoptera: Melolonthidae) it was studied during the period of flight of this soil curse in the municipal district of Edéia, State of Goiás, Brazil. For the adults' capture, luminous trap Luiz of adapted " Queiroz " was used provided with black light, linked to an electric source of energy in the rural property. The insects were collected daily in the period of October 18 to November 22, 2004. They were collected a total of 66.490 individuals, being 71,37% males 16% females with eggs and 12,63% females without eggs. The relationship found male / female was on average of 2,49 and of females totals / famales with eggs was of 1,79. Based on the great number of adult individuals that were captured in the area, is considered that, the luminous traps can be used not only to monitor, but also to aid the handling of that soil curse, through the physical control, reducing like this the use of the insecticides in the control of the same.
