Resumo
The job market of the Information Professional has been gaining a new format due to the advancement of information and communication technologies, with this, it is necessary that the professional follow as tendencies and perspectives of the market, use as technologies as a tool of work and end of Add value and modernity to your functions. Thus, it is identified as requirements of the information professional by the current labor market and analysis, is a business market view regarding the updating of the librarian. Therefore, it was an analytical analysis of studies by several authors that deal with the subject of information from a business perspective. Referring to methodological processes treated of a qualitative research of descriptive and exploratory character. An analysis was made through a field research with entrepreneurs of diverse sectors and with librarians already inserted to the job market. The results are known as librarian has great potential to act in new areas still little experienced.
