Resumo
This research aims to identify the scientific literature on informational behavior in searches that are located in the following sources: Digital Library of theses and dissertations BDTD/IBICT; Google Scholar; proceedings of the national meeting of research in information science – ENANCIB; Database in information science – BRAPCI and Scientific Eletronic Library Online – SciELO. This research is characterized as exploratory and bibliography. In terms of methodology the data collection was carried out in the previously cited sources of information, covering the period of 1995 to 2016. In terms of data analysis were considered the following mechanisms of analysis: objectives and theoretical models. The data collected from the sources of information cited above revealed that the scientific research on Informational Behavior of Elderly is reduced, and that this fact justifies an effort to expand studies on this issue. Thus, the study of this subject is of great value, therefore, enables if extend scientific knowledge about search behavior and use of information from a segment of the population still poorly researched.
