Resumo
The choícc to adopt innovations betwceo theoretical directríx for studying the modernizai ion of agriculture in the State of Goiás justifies itself for two reasons. I) an analysis of modem practices allows us to observe qualities of the process of transferitig modern technology to rarai arcas, as much as the point of view of techiiical orientation and fitting the needs of rarai farmers; 2) the transfcr of technology and knowledge skills to the
country areas was analized under relational and integrative opties in which the rural mau is understood as the subject and not the objcctof the research, in lhe relation "subjcct-subject".
