Resumo
The text analyzes the results of the proposed activities of the Contextual Theme “Ethnicity and Cultural Diversity” during the first stage of the Intercultural Education Course of the UFG in 2017 with the group composed of students from several indigenous peoples and mainly emphasizes the contribution of the students in Relation to the debate on cultural diversity present in Brazilian society. Significant suggestions were made to work with this theme in indigenous and non-indigenous basic education based on reflections on the recognition of Brazilian cultural diversity and the place of the school for indigenous peoples.
