Análise da competitividade potencial do setor de insumos da cadeia exportadora de feijões brasileira

Resumo

The international market beans is marked by a competitive environment, the Brazil despite the enormous productive potential has low expression in export of grain and the main factor is the bean production predominance of carioca commercial group while much of importing countries consume other grain types. There are international markets that can be served by Brazil, however, the national structure of the beans is geared to the domestic market. Therefore, this article aims to analyze the potential competitiveness of the inputs sector in the export chain of Brazilian beans. In terms of methodology, there was use for analysis of competitiveness Commodity System Approach - CSA, primary data were obtained directly from strategic chain agents. The results show that the production of exportable grains is still in its incipient, there are difficulties to find producers with production that meets the requirements of foreign markets, and there are few producers with a production capacity. Also, we observed the presence of active medium and high specificity and informal level is high. The worst sub-factors were evaluated fertilizers and pesticides that present sharp rise in prices in recent years, and major impact on production costs.
