Análise histórica de danças folclóricas aplicadas à anatomia como forma educacional : uma experiência de extensão

Resumo

Folklore and its manifestation through the typical dances and songs is an important form of popular expression capable of representing the traditions and culture of a particular region. Thus, its use as a teaching and learning tool can contribute to the dissemination and exploitation of the culture of a civilization, expand knowledge about existing folk diversity and assist in the training of students and the public directly and indirectly involved in its practice. In this way, the present study aimed to carry out cultural and artistic performances in schools and kindergartens in the Goiania-GO region, including lectures on the history of folk dances, the main body movements and anatomical aspects involved, besides to identify the contributions of teaching folk dances for the participants of the action. The actions encompassed workshops in schools and community centers, with explanation about Brazilian culture and historical aspects of folk dances, with artistic presentations. The dances and folk songs were selected, analyzing human movement, its anatomical structures and the way they interact with the various areas of cultural knowledge. Seven performances of folk dances were performed, including the Cana Verde, Catira, Cavalhadas, Pastoril, Siriri, Tambor de Crioula e Vilão. Therefore, it is observed that interdisciplinary of music, dance and curriculum components, enables the student to obtain different forms of learning and establish cultural ties with their community and to integrate theory and practice of movement in the light of the human anatomy
