Resumo
The present article has the aim of telling practices of reading and writing developed at
the library and supported by the knowledge of Applied Linguistic. Sharing that at the
school context these knowledges transcend the four walls of the classroom and they are
also of interest of the librarian, important mediator of reading at school. By the Applied
Linguistic, this mediator of knowledge reapplies the production of reading and writing at
the library environment interacting with teachers, students and the text.
