Pseudo-hermafroditismo masculino - relato de caso

Resumo

Male pseudo-hermaphroditism is part of genital ambiguities, whose spectrum of variations requires complete clinical investigation, including the karyotype and the patient’s psychological behavior. Its cause is genetic and it’s mainly due to the complete or partial androgen receptor insensivity (AR) to the action of testosterone and dihydrotestosterone (DHT). This study is a case report of partial androgen insensitivity, whose peculiarities require attention of a multidisciplinary team, which will have the main objective of defining sex type, along with the patient and his parents, and provide the necessary means to achieve the definition of the sex type.
