Achados ecográficos mais comuns em mulheres adolescentes

Resumo

OBJECTIVES: to identify the prevalence of pathological sonographic findings in pelvic and endovaginal gynecological ultrasound and to identify the most common findings in adolescent women. MethodS: retrospective study, which evaluated 271 pelvic and transvaginal sonographic reports from April 2011 to April 2012. The variables analyzed were patient age and the hypotheses of diagnosis in the records. RESULTS: of the 21% change in acoustic tests, 36,8% of them were polycystic ovaries, 21 % ovarian cysts (functional aspect), 12,3% complex cysts, 10, 5% Mullerian changes and other ones with lower incidence. 79% of the reports studied had normal ultrasound results. CONCLUSIONS: the prevalence of diseases among adolescent women in the ultrasound was 21%. The sonographic findings were most commonly polycystic ovaries and ovarian cysts.
