Profundidade de polimerização de resinas híbrida, micro e nanoparticuladas utilizando luz halógena ou LED de segunda geração

Resumo

The physical and biological properties of the composite resins have been improved with an adequate polymerization protocol of application. Thus, new technolgies became as options among the others curing units. The aim of this study was to evaluate the cure depth using a standardised technique (ISO 4049) of differents composite, hybrid (Z100), microfilled (A110) and nanofilled (Filtek Supreme), when photo-cured with conventional visible light and second generation LED. Ten specimens per group were prepared by insertion of composite into a cilindrical steel matrix (10mm depht X 5mm diameter). The specimens were submited to scrapping test to remove uncured material, resulting in the deph of cure values according to ISO 4049 specification. The data obtained (mm) by halogen light, Z100- 2.27±0.23; A110- 2.42±0.18; Filtek Supreme- 2.48±0.37, and by LED unit, Z100- 2.45±0.18;A110- 2.05±0.10; Filtek Supreme- 2.45±0.20, were perfomed using two way ANOVA e Tukey test (p=0.05). There were not significant differences between light units for Z100 and Filtek Supreme, except A110 composite resin when cured by LED unit, which demonstrated the lowest results. Hence, the LED unit was viable for Z100 and Filtek Supreme.
