Resumo
In the article, we focus girls and boys schooling
experience in Província de Goiás. Reading of a photograph
of schoolmates with the teacher - Mestra Inhola -, we tried
to see how school worked as producer/reproducer of gender
cultural share, which separates bodies and oppose them
each other as asymmetrical social relation. Beyond
photograph, as sources, we also dealed with laws, rules,
reports and presidential messages to analyse conditions of
school assistance as part of civilization project and gender
binary logic. For that, discursive school technicalities were
seen as social strategies to create and sculpt sweet and useful
bodies, as educated and civilized upon sex gender distinctions:
