História visual da cultura visual: sob os rastros de uma história da fotografia na província de Goiás (século XIX)

Abstract

This paper presents an approach to study on the photographic image anchored in the perspectives of the Visual History and Visual Culture Studies. At first, we discuss aspects about a history of photography in Goiás and its relations with the civilization project in Brazil nineteenth century. We then present theoretical and methodological approach anchored at the interface between perspectives of Visual History and Visual Culture Studies, in seeking to erect analysis possibilities of meaning production process in relations between images.
