Resumo
This paper discusses on ways contradictory representation of female stereotypes of traditional and modern in the brazilian media. From the analysis covers the magazine Nova in two distinct historical moments, we seek to understand the ways in which female magazines represent the social roles, assisting in the construction and dissemination of a social image of woman.
