Resumo
Graphic design has always been linked to major changes and social movements, as well as art and advertising, throughout human history. Since the end of the 19th century, comics have also dared to talk about issues related to politics and society. This project seeks a way to bring the two areas together and develop an
anthology of experimental comics that provoke the reader to reflect on how visual narratives can change the perception of reality, through their intentional strategies. Diverse themes are explored, consistent with the authors' personal points of view. In order to understand how to reach the reader in such a way, a research is carried out on the history of comics as a media and political factor, its origin, construction and relevant works, as well as the role of graphic design in society.
