Resumo
The objective was to identify, characterize and analyze the academic-scientific production published in the period between 2007 and 2020, which thematized the policies implemented in universities to guarantee access to leisure and sport. For that, the bibliographic and documental research techniques were articulated with the procedures provided by bibliometrics. The Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) and the Capes/MEC Journal Portal were used for data collection. The corpus of the study consisted of 06 dissertations, 02 theses and 09 articles published in 04 of the 18 selected journals. Data collected were systematized in an Excel spreadsheet and analyzed using the quanti-qualitative approach. The material aspect of the public policies received greater attention in research; the predominant methodological procedures were the case study, the qualitative approach and the articulation of bibliographic-documentary techniques. It is noteworthy that the predominance of women among authors was prominent. Finally, the analysis indicates the need for deepening of discussions raised by the data collected and further studies to expand the basis and level of research.
