Resumo
This article aims to identify the sense of belonging of middle school students from public and private schools in Goiânia in relation to social networks and even as those without such access to this virtual environment feel about the process that the digital divide does not characterizes the membership. We used a seven-point Likert scale to collect data. The main results indicate that the idea of a global village is a paradox and that in reality
there is a large portion of the student population of high school who do not have the same access to social networks.
